"ios homepage settings" (benisjesus2003 9/13/21, 10:44 AM) and "How to open iOS Firefox on blank home page" (miggy.ad 9/16/21, 5:57 PM), both started discussions regarding the use of "about:blank" and seeing a blank page when Firefox iOS opens. There really was not a solution provided. I've a work around for the time being and would like to know if anyone else has a better solution because "about:blank" has been a favorite homepage, Opening Screen, ...etc. Start with the 3 horizontal bars in the bottom right corner. Select {Settings} and {Homepage} is selected, the first setting is [OPENING SCREEN]. Set this to {Homepage}. Scroll down to [CURRENT HOMEPAGE] and type "https://www.blank.org" into {Custom URL}. To save the entry, touch {Firefox Home} just above the entry. The results while not the same as "about:blank" are very similar. If anyone else has a better solution, please post it here. (Please keep any replies positive to we can share ideals and solutions in the common forum.)

My first question is query as to why the Google symbol appears at the start of the search line, whenever I try and use Firefox as my web browser? I am concerned that I may have a virus or cache redirecting my Firefox app. My second question is how do I clear the cache on my 2020 iPad? Are the directions obtained from doing a web search do not seem to apply to the iPad screen set up. Your help would be appreciated. Kenneth Bewley.

I've seen this asked (and unanswered) previously.

Since there is an option, I want to know what this is. Does that mean all the rest of the stuff in the cache is public? ' What sort of stuff is in private data? Why do I want to (or not want to delete it.)?

I haven't seen this before and haven't seen it on the OSX Version.

Hey Together

I have an Ipad Air 4.Gen

Now I want to download a file (SRT), the link works, from Safari I can also download it (same website, but not possible here, otherwise loss of work). Stupid thing is that I was working on something for quite a long time, but did this on the Firedox broweser, now the download works but nicher. There is this very short loading bar (blue line), but this is already gone after about 0.5 seconds.

Under downloads I can't find anything in the files or in the download menu of Firefox.

I noticed that Firefox has no access to the files (the app from Apple), but Safari does. However, I can't activate it because there is no "slider" (activation thingy) for it.

How can I solve this problem? Thanks for your answer.

Hi.

There is a problem for many time in IOS Firefox. The browser doesn’t suggest filling of passwords in any website though it has the password and username in its store. And there is no any setting that could solve it.

It happens just in IOS while android or windows are fine. My Firefox in IOS is always updated to the last version so it is sure not the problem.

Thanks, Dor
