I'm tryin to swap over to firefox from chrome vbut I can't see my bookmarks. It seems that the desktop version supports a bookmarks toolbar but the IOS version doesn't. t wouldn't be so bad if I could see ALL my bookmarks on IOS but I can't. I can't find any way of accessing them.

I don't need a bookmarks toolbar on IOS, I just want access to those I bookmark on desktop into the bookmarks toolbar.

Any ideas?

Safari on an iPhone has the ability add a bookmark to the iphone home screen which makes organizing and getting to the desired bookmark easy. I would like to use Firefox instead of Safari but it doesn't appear that Firefox on iOS on an iphone has the ability to add a bookmark to the iPhone home screen. Is that correct? Or am I not doing something correctly.

Your response to me sucks. It's uninformative at best and non-sense at best. No wonder you don't have people to speak with. I'd rather use another browser that's credible!

I've turned off auto-complete on my Firefox iOS app, but it still suggests every bookmark I have that matches whatever I start typing. How can I turn this off - or is it just not an option?

The bookmarks that are shown on the shortcuts are getting distorted by time. Every 2 months, I have to re-install the browser to have decent bookmark symbols. This issue has been around for atleast a year.

since almost a week I got the problem, that I can't see the bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar or edit them. The space, where they should appear is still there, just the icons are not. When I use the menu "Bookmarks" I still can see and use them.

I use a mac mini M1 of 2020, mac OS 13.2.1 (22D68) and the Firefox version 111.0.1 (64-bit).

When I go to save a bookmark, the “done” or “save” button is missing. I can’t get bookmarks to save because I can’t complete the selection process. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this?

Good afternoon. Recently, bookmarks added via iPad have been added to the "mobile bookmarks" folder. Previously, when adding a bookmark, I clicked on the "Edit" button, chose the path - now the button for applying the new path has disappeared there. When viewing the list of bookmark folders on the ipad, the "mobile bookmarks" folder does not show at all (only when viewed from a computer).

Screen - there is no "apply" button.

I am frustrated by the bookmark feature on the mobile app and am coming here to ask if I am missing something. My firefox account is synced across three devices (two desktop, one mobile). I want all of my bookmarks in one place, regardless of what device I save them on.

When I save a bookmark on mobile, it goes to Mobile Bookmarks — which, for me, is not where I want them to go. I then have trouble moving the bookmark. I can select the multi-step DESKTOP path but often the SAVE button does not appear and therefore I can not save it. If I keep closing and reopening, the save button sometimes appears. The attached two images shows: 1). landing spot for saved bookmarks on mobile 2) the lack of the "save" button to successfully move said bookmark.

Also, is it possible to make a mobile shortcut to all of my synced desktop bookmarks? Currently, the path is tedious to access. It involves: Hamburger button => Bookmarks => Desktop Bookmarks => these trio of options: Unsorted Bookmarks (unnecessary), Bookmarks Toolbar (the only one I want), Bookmarks Menu (unnecessary). I would like to go directly to the Bookmarks Toolbar from my mobile homepage. And if possible remove the cluttered/redundant options (re: Unsorted Bookmarks, Bookmarks Menu).

I hope there will be an update in which we get bookmarks on the top for ipad. just like on pc. it's definitely possible cause there is enough screen real estate. or make two bars or 3 on ios. I hope this is a feature that will be picked up and implemented one day. I fully switched to Firefox. Cause now it connects every search result to desktop. Also I like that it isn't chromium based

A virus warning kept appearing on my Firefox browser so I deleted the app and redownloaded it. I lost all my bookmarks and I know you have to have them somewhere please help

Why is there no bookmarks toolbar for Firefox IOS? This makes the program useless to me. Is there any way to create and see bookmarks? None of the answers in the forums are of any help. What you tell me I should see I don’t see.

I’ve used Firefox for years because I support non-corporate efforts like this, but the lack of quick access to create and use bookmarks is a deal-breaker for me.

I can’t get the app on iOS to download without a messed up bookmark setting, which means the settings button will not open! Please offer a solution? I installed and reinstalled, plus I’ve tried to delete files folder etc, but the iOS download is holding onto the old file system, which I messed up. I purposely restarted a brand new account, after five to six years of using my old account, but that changed nothing. The bookmarks aren’t even holding on to Mozilla Firefox desktop site book markers?

Help! I’m trying to access my saved articles in airplane mode while traveling. This used to be no problem but new app last year won’t let me. Tell me the secret of how to do it! Thanks.

  For couple weeks , following any external link/reference, such as all 'unsubscribe' links from Apple Mail messages, Firefox opens but homepage rather than to the link/url argument (and url field shows blank, not display the extrrnal link's url address in url input box.
  Support history shows an identical problem in Ff ~117 reported (Aug '23, I think)   (if the condition of Firefox not currently running is same, which I haven't yet been able to determine) and apparently resolved then ( 2 replies, but thread is not visible because FF Support has it recorded as "Archived").
