Sorry, but this feature is a PITA. Is there a way to turn it off.

I've been a firefox user for > 15 years but I won't continue to be if I have to put up with this.

You should make it so you have to opt to turn in on.

Hi all, opening of external links (e.g. out of AppleMail or any other App) is no longer possible since FF version 123.0 (IPhone 6S+ mit IOS 15.8.2, FF is standard-browser). The last weeks I followed the article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442950) which should be fixed with version 124. Meanwhile I updated to FF version 125.2 but the issue is not solved for me yet. When I click on an external link in AppleMail or other Apps, FF starts and shows the startscreen. Then the screens "flickers" one time but nothing else happens. Because not many users are reporting this issue I think that may be a configuration set on my IPhone is the cause of this and not a bug in FF. Has anyone an idea what can be the issue and how to solve it ?

I'm now very annoyed by this issue and if I don't find a solution soon, I'll install another browser.

Recently, I reported a glitch with e-mail messages from you. The text of the messages was darkened either completely or almost to the point of being unreadable--actually, backgrounded--always at least partially covered by a pop-up telling about the trackers that were derailed by the DuckDuckGo browser. Since then, I have made a discovery: The problem occurs when using Apple's iPhone Mail app, but not at all when using Microsoft's iPhone Outlook app. It should be noted that e-mails from you go to my Microsoft (Outlook.com) account. My option for night mode to invert the colors for websites has suddenly disappeared from the menu. If I go to settings I can turn on dark mode but it does not work for a lot of websites. How can I get night mode back?

Is there a setting that needs to be enabled in order for the iOS Firefox to translate a website? If not, there should be something that automatically does it if you need it to.

I assumed I posted this question before but I can‘t find it in the forums:

Since some time (2-3 weeks?) Firefox on iOS keeps „logging me oug“ from any website I use.

On google every time I have to consent again, on my news site I have to re-sign in every time to use my subscription …

I am not using the private mode nor have I set to clean everything after closing anywhere (or I don‘t know where to set this).

I am syncing with firefox sync and on my desktop all is just fine. But on iOS it‘s so annoying I am about to drop firefox.

Is there anybody who‘s got an idea what is going on or how I can change this? I uninstalled the App, it‘s automatically kept updated, newest iOS and newest firefox iOS version installed. Nothing helps and cannot find any setting explaining this.
