Firefox hangs many times.It's very annoying. It crashes after a pop up which says :

I updated the flash player another day but still this problem continued. Some other day a similar kind of pop up came but it didn't said anything about Shock wave flash but it is a script problem.Firefox always hangs because of some script problem. When i open Windows media player, Photoshop on the other side..Firefox hangs. I never had any problem with Firefox before.

When I updated to Firefox 25.0.1 all my add-ons were gone so I downloaded some of them again. My problem is with Flashgot when I downloaded it I can add the Flashgot (thunderbolt) sign to the toolbar, but the Flashgot media icon (which looks like a cinema reel) is not visible.
So basically when I try to add add-ons I right click on the Firefox toolbar which gives me the option to "remove or add items" by dragging them. So I dragged Flashgot media (called FG Media) (which is not visible in the menu by the way) and predictably was not visible on the Firefox add-ons toolbar
Anyone know what's up?

I have windows 8) I downloaded shumway I run about:config and "click to play" was true re-started browser, run about:config and I cannot see shumway on the list I run about:addons and changed flaswave to "ask to activate" re-started browser, went back to about:config and shumway is still not there... Anyway I tried to see if I could open you tube videos byt every time is asking to allow flash to run them, I guess shumway is not installed... sorry I am totally illiterate on this stuff :(

Tried safe mode, still same thing. No videos will play. Was fine this morning, but tried to watch CNN video and it would not play. Spinning circle just jumps around, doesn't spin. YouTube won't play either.

Hello, after update to Firefox 26.0 (CS version, but as I checked, e.g. SK or LV versions does that too, I did not try EN version), my pages (written in PHP, running on Apache) after sending form with method POST starts to ignore header content-type charset=utf8 and broke the encoding by reset to win1250. Are there any white text on black background color schemes that are complete? My search bar background color is bright white. My Unsorted Bookmarks Library window background is glaring bright white, can't see a thing in it.
I researched the issue and figured out how to change the URL address bar text and background color, using userChrome, but haven't been able to find anything on changing the Unsorted Bookmarks Library window background color or the search bar background color.
I haven't searched for the search bar background color, yet. Hopefully that one is easier to find than the Unsorted Bookmarks Library window background color setting.

Antilog Calculator commonly called as Anti Log or Inverse Log calculator, is an online tool used to calculate Inverse Log values with respect to the base values

The anti-log is simply the inverse log calculation. Namely, if you know the logarithm of a number, you can compute the value of the number itself by taking the antilog. The anti logarithm is defined as
y = antilog x = 10x

Although other (already closed) threads indicate that customizing bookmark icons is not possible, especially with versions above 22, it is possible, but not at all obvious.
Even though I have done it, I am not clear on the entire process, specifically the "icon data" part of the following... but, it does work and the following example was tested on version 28 of "Nightly"
The icon references can be included in a simple html file and imported into bookmarks.
The following is a sample of one for a mailto: =

The above is the only thing in the imported html file... no headers, etc are necessary.
I _think_ the above "icon=data..." can be used with any icon file and it will regenerate after import... it's been too long since I sorted this out the first time. The above icon file is a 32x32 solid blue square.
Assuming you have bookmarks that have icons, you can export your bookmarks to an html file, then open that file with a text editor to either copy examples or edit them to add your own local icon file references.

I have a new computer. I downloaded Mozilla, we t to the internet, and saved a url in "unsorted bookmarks". I then imported my bookmarks from my other computer. They also show in a version of "unsorted", but it appears to be a different unsorted library. They seem to be in two different locations, both labeled "unsorted".
What is going on?
I cannot play any type of video on firefox which includes Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook videos and all. I tried most things that was suggested already. What to do?

For a new search I open up a new tab and start typing in the Awesome Bar. Then, before I hit ENTER, I Alt+Tab to a different program in Windows and Alt+Tab back to FF with the INTENT of typing/pasting the rest of my search query, only to find out that what I had typed initially has been replaced with the new tab's URL (homepage). This does not happen when I set the new tabs to be FF's default or I use a tab that is NOT new (no problem when The problem does not occur when I navigate to my homepage from an old tab and try to search.
It's quite common for me to Alt+Tab away from FF in the middle of typing my search query so that I can type in particular phrases precisely (e.g. an error message).
Here are some workarounds that are problematic, please do not suggest them:
1. Do not set new tab to display homepage / do not have a homepage / set new tabs to be FF default then press Alt+Home to view homepage.
2. Use search bar (Ctrl+K) instead of awesome bar. Can't use shortcuts for different search engines in search bar, also doesn't give suggestions.
3. Start the query with what's on the other window; type or paste in this information first.
This problem did not exist for earlier versions of FF. It started a few versions ago.

I am unable to re install Firefox on my Windows 8 PC. Since yesterday trying to launch Firefox causes my PC to crash and then as it shuts down I am advised to search online for bad_spool_header info
After I did (both Chrome and Explorer work) I found a" search by conduit" add on which I was able to uninstall and completely (?) clean out from my system I also ran several malware tests and cleaned out my registry keys. The computer works fine only issue is with Firefox. Since Firefox immediately launches after install and this causes PC to crash I am stuck in an endless loop and cannot even go into safe mode for Firefox, attempting to do that to stop the launch caused not only a crash but a weird vibrating noise from PC.
Please note I use Win 8 as old style Win programs from regular desktop/start menu, not via app/charms interface (in case you are sending me instructions). Hope you can help me get my Firefox back!

I was using firefox when the prompt came up "firefox needs to update... and will reopen in a few moments". Firefox never reopened Instead I received an error message "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox class not registered". I have uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox , reinstalled and still receive the same error message "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox class not registered". When I reinstall firefox it never opens its always comes up with the error message. Any solutions?
