After auto update from Firefox 95 to Firefox 96. If net page have some video, computer freeses and Task manager come full of processes (over 20) c:\program Files\mozilla Firefox\minidump-analyzer.exe c:\windows\system32\conhost.exe.

Same happened if i load some youtube video page. Only way to correct this problem is downgrade to version 95 and disable auto update.

How i can restore my bookmarks from new version to old one ?

Windows version is server 2008 R2

I live with Firefix always in full screen. I Don't like seeing any bars or buttons of any kind.

Befor the latest update, when I moved my mouse to the top of the screen my tabs popped down and in the top right corner was the standard icons for "minimize" "maximize" and "exit".

With the latest update the tabs are there but the 3 buttons have gone.

If I exit full screen (F11) then they are there again, but I dont want to have to exit full screen every time I change between programes which I do every few mins. I'd be popping pages in and out of full screen every few mins!

How do I get the buttons back all the time?

often when on ATT yahoo email page, Firefox will stall and say not responding and then it shuts down any other activity on my pc. When I am able later to open task manager, I see about 20 firefox.exe processes running, so i start ending them all. This is getting annoying, it's probably an ATT probelm due to their stupid ads, but I have tried several times to stop Firefox from running all these processes but you all keep coming back. why so damn many for one window/tab open at a time????

FIX what seem to be CLEAR conflicts with relationship between platform and user's device (desktop, Dell Optiplex 790 in my case - that do NOT occur with Opera, otherwise) as WELL as aforementioned ATROCIOUS performance quality - BTW, this is the SECOND update / upgrade I've done in LESS than a WEEK.....

I have been using using the new "Proton" Interface for a while now and still cannot get used to the ridiculous look.

My Questions: 1) Who designed it? Was it a colaboration between Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles?

2) When changing a design (in such a bad way) why on Earth wouldn't you leave the option to revert to the previous version

3) Why was it changed??? I think this is the most pertinent question. I work in software Development (have done for over 25 years) and it smacks of a department trying to show they are adding value to a product... for the sake of it.

Modern Software Devs have a knack of fixing things that are not broke and redisigning the look of software instead of fixing the bugs in the core of the system.

thanks

On this site: https://www.orange.pl/twojekonto/zaloguj I can't force firefox to remember username (no problem with remembering password on next step). In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

Firefox is constantly removing safe extensions, re-approving them, then removing them again a couple days later. This is very frustrating, and is enough to make me permanently switch to Google Chrome, since they don't do this, and since I have to use that browser when Firefox messes with these extensions. I have been a stalwart Firefox user for years, but Firefox is pushing people like me away with this ridiculous behavior.

The best example is LastPass. Chrome seems to think it's perfectly safe, as it is not removing it. I use it and need it to be available for sites I need passwords for.

Unfortunately, however, Firefox regularly removes this essential extension and others, then, as I say, allows it again a day or two later, then removes it again.

Please, Firefox, figure this out! Otherwise, you're going to lose a lot of users and get a very bad reputation.
