My main Email Got Hacked how can I change my email or add a Account recovery key to my mozilla account or even add Two-step authentication ? I am very frustrated, please advise urgently.

My default search engine in Firefox settings is Google. I deleted Yahoo search from the list of browsers in my settings. Nevertheless, all of my searches recently began going through and using Yahoo search. This is the search path that comes up in the search box: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/ . . . How can I stop this?

I restarted my computer, Windows 11, and everything was gone, no passwords nothing. I'm not a computer person but can follow instructions. I'm lost without this,please help. Can I retrieve yesterday's Firefox?

Here is the current situation.

Firefox is consistently crashing in Windows 11, either a tab crash or the application itself. I'm not sure how to resolve it at this point. It was sufficiently bad that at first I assumed this was a problem with my Windows 11 installation, and did a complete reinstall of the OS followed by a fresh install of Firefox.

That did not resolve the problem. Firefox is still crashing.

I completely replaced the SSD assuming there was some kind of read/write problem between it and Firefox, did a clean install of Win11 and Firefox, and instead of porting my profile ported only my bookmarks and passwords into a new profile.

It's still happening. I don't know what to do at this point.

This has worked for me for years. It just began a few days ago when I tried to login and look at my new auto insurance policy. I've cleared the cache/cookies to no avail. I can access the web site with Edge (yuk)

Il faut pourvoir le retrouver pour le mettre à la bonne place !!! Je souhaiterais pouvoir enregistrer la page où je le souhaite et créer un nouvel onglet au besoin.

When I try to save a page to a tab, clicking the star icon creates the link, but it opens in some unknown tab! I have to find it to put it in the right place! I would like to be able to save the page wherever I want and create a new tab if needed.

I rebooted my laptop to find that Firefox removed all of my data. I looked up for ways to fix this and then arrived at the conclusion that I could create a profile and set the folder to one of the profiles that weren't listed on Firefox. It seemed to save my history correctly and my saved downloads, but they all said that they were moved or missing. I checked the passwords and instead of the long list of passwords that I normally have, there were only a couple, and the passwords were also sometimes outdated. I cannot recover some of these passwords. I've tried checking the passwords in the other profiles that were listed in the profiles and nothing shows up. None of the cookies were saved either

In the pass while on a tab inside a group[1], whenever I 'open link in new tab' it keeps the group closed, but now it forcefully opens the group. Is there setting I can press to stop this.

FireFox Tab Groups can remain closed and be re-opened via "List All Tab Groups"

That's why I use FireFox (v146/v147) and not Edge or Chrome

BUT what worked well these last four months suddenly stopped working TODAY, i.e.

 "List All Tab Groups" has disappeared and all I see are tab groups created today

Sadly I never created any FireFox account until a few minutes ago Does that mean those lost Tab Groups can only be recreated manually or is there an easier way ?

Will this catastrophe happen every time FireFox auto-updates itself on start-up (v147 since Jan13) ???

This is a brand new problem, for me. It just started today when using FireFox. On nearly all websites, including Mozilla support, when I click on an embedded link on a site, firefox asks me to select an app to open the https. Even if I tell it to let firefox open all https, it still asks me everytime. to make it better, it still doesn't always let me open the link and I go through the same thing when I click the link again.

This also happens when clicking on the search box in *any* search engine, e.g. Google, Startpage

I've attempted to change all cookie & tracking settings, no help. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

This is making FireFox useless.

I had to use my default browser, Brave, just to submit this question. I only use FireFox for social media accounts, sites I need to link to my sm accounts and the occasional web search. For example, linking my Etsy shop to facebook. When I clicked the link "link to facebook" is when I noticed this problem.

firefox suddenly stopped showing any history or book marks. also no history. i've re downloaded, no change. all works well with chrome but i like firefox. and thoughts?
