To make sure the kids are doing their schoolwork I need to see which computer (device) opened a website in the history. When I manage history I don't see any option for this information.

I reinstalled my Windows and then wanted to log in to my Firefox account but I forgot my password, when i recovered it all of my data we're gone, I didn't know that it would erase my data. Can I somehow get it back?

When i set up a new windows 11 install, i installed firefox, like normal, and 90% of my data wasnt there! my history from the last few months isnt here and my bookmarks! My passwords and ext are saved though, can i get it back? Aswell, when i restart the browser, all my new bookmarks and data goes away too!

Hello Today, after installing the new Windows, I also installed the Firefox browser. But after I logged into my regular Firefox account, none of my previous account information, including plugins, bookmarks, and passwords, synced. I used this account for several years and all my information was stored in it. please guide me.

I have been trying for several days to sync a new computer to my account. I have followed all the suggestions including adding accounts@firefox.com to my email client online. Still never receive confirmation code email.

I have at least 3 mozilla accounts and one account that should have been accessible is now unavailable and it's asking for a primary email which it's should not have. Been trying to access it since my computer crashed.

I reinstaled windows and donwloaded again mozzila, logged in my account (reseted password cuz i forgot OFC), and when i logged in i didnt get my previus data (history, passwords, etc...) Can anyone help?

I've locked myself out of my Firefox account (can't use my authenticator because I got a new smartphone and did not re-add Firefox to the authenticator app). I have a logged-in device and I'm trying to go to my settings to turn of 2FA to get back in. When I try to do this, it tells me that it's sending me an email with a six-digit code, but this email never arrives. I've whitelisted, I've waited an hour, nothing.

Interestingly, I've been forced to set up a new account just to post this question, using a different Gmail address, which also required the entry of a six-digit code. But this one came immediately.

What do I need to do to get my Firefox account unlocked? As it stands, 2FA has basically killed my account forever. If that happens, it's goodbye to Firefox.

Hi.. I was installing a new Windows system. Before the installation, I did a synchronization in my Firefox to later recover my settings using recovery keys. But after installation and login, there was no question about the keys to recover this data. How can I get my bookmarks back? I have only recover keys and the e-mail adres for this. Please somedy help me. Thank you.

Long story short, due to a boot up error loop, i was forced to reinstall windows.

I have done this before and after logging into my Firefox account, everything synced. This time however, it did not work. All my Book Marks, Passwords etc are gone. I really need those back.

If anyone can assist i will greatly appreciated.

I have sync turned on for all options but everytime Firefox updates I lose all passwords and log-ins from my main Windows desktop PC, the Bookmarks are all still in place.

Log in and password infois still available on my iphone and macbook air..

How do I restore them and prevent it happening again?

Say it isn't so? Can I not view the history of the one device I am using instead of getting the full history of all my sync'd devices? That's extraordinarily short-sighted if that is indeed the case. At least add a column in the history list that shows the device that entry came from...

I have read through some of the past similar issues with passwords not syncing across devices and the only official answer I seem to find from the Firefox team is to "manually or force sync"...

However that does not work. I have just saved a new login on my mobile, I have manually synced or "sync now" on both my mobile and desktop, restarted both devices and still...this login does NOT appear on my Desktop.

So please help! For all I know there could be other logins saved on my mobile that don't appear on my desktop and vice versa.

I do not want to uninstall Firefox.

The logins that I put manually synchronize with the account between the devices, however, the passwords that i imported from chrome through the .csv file do not sync.

I recently updated browser and now I have a tab that I can't get rid of, I think it's the sync set up tab because it wants me to sync all my devices with firefox. It currently sits at 33% wanting me to upload firefox on my devices. I like firefox I've been using it as default browser on my computer since the beginning and with that being said I just want to keep things the way they are, I don't want to sync everything. To be honest I have loaded firefox on my iPhone a while back and never really used it as I'm accustom to Safari on the iPhone. I'm old school and old and like things the way they are lol.
