The title says it all:

After the Developer Toolbar has been removed in Firefox v62, how do I emulate media queries, like "print"? And how do I reset this setting?

Just for your information in case your are in doubt about my question: While the Developer Toolbar was active, the Developer Toolbar command for setting media emulation to print was "media emulate print". The command for resetting the media type was "media reset".

Your answer is appreciated.

I have a ditty news ticker on my Wordpress site (https://www.visionarycomics.com/), it is located at the top of the main page. The title of the ticker (BREAKING NEWS) shows up, but the rotating links will not show up on my Firefox browser. They do show up on other browsers like Chrome, and other people have said they can see the links on their Firefox browser, so I'm wondering if there is some setting I have on mine that prevents me from seeing these?

We thought it might be outdated themes and fonts, but fixed those, I checked Wordpress support and found a similar problem which was fixed by adding custom CSS code to the ticker, so I did that, and nothing works.

I would appreciate any help or guidance on this.

I want to export my cookie permissions either through a WebExtension or a script outside of Firefox.

I'm looking at the `moz_perms` table in my permissions.sqlite, and I see three values for `permission` for entries of `type` "cookie":

  • 1: Keep cookies permanently
  • 2: Block all cookies
  • 8: Keep cookies for session

As I review the Firefox codebase, I see the following in nsIPermissionManager.idl:

 const uint32_t EXPIRE_NEVER = 0;
 const uint32_t EXPIRE_SESSION = 1;
 const uint32_t EXPIRE_TIME = 2;
 const uint32_t EXPIRE_POLICY = 3;

Obviously, that doesn't match up at all, so I'm probably looking at the wrong thing. I've been a user of Self-destructing cookies if that makes any difference.

Where can I find code or documentation on meaning of the `permission` field for entries of `type` "cookie" in the `moz_perms` table of permissions.sqlite? Is there a better or existing means of exporting cookie settings like this?

However, in Firefox Developer 64.0b7 on Linux, this is not true: the shortcut is Ctrl-F11

I would like the shortcut to be as listed in the documentation, F11.

How do I achieve this please?

My HTML-file contains the following code: ... <main>

When I change "main" to "section", the font-size changes from 36px to 24px (this is reported by webdevelopper), but only for "Headline", for "Some Text" font-size remains unchanged. In CSS I have "body {font-size1: 1.1em;}", no other rules for font-size.

Our business website has recently been relaunched, it displays fine on other browsers but is beyond broken on Firefox. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks on Chrome, to see how it looks on Firefox here is our url: https://www.exegetic.biz/.

As you can see it's VASTLY different and VERY frustrating. I've done a fair amount of reading as to what the issue could be but all the suggestions I have found are end user based... For example emptying the cache, clearing cookies, checking the zoom etc. This doesn't really help since I've looked at the site on various devices with FireFox and they all appear the same...

Has anyone else experienced this? Any help would e greatly appreciated!

When you go to https://www.northshore.com, instead of redirecting to our main site (https://www.northshorecare.com) Firefox displays an incorrect warning that the site you were about to be redirected to is somehow a potential security risk. This happened to me in regular Firefox, Nightly and the Developer edition, so it's not just an anomoly. The live site is fully SSL-compliant and poses no such threat to the user. Is it because the redirecting domain is not secure? Can you create an exception so that people don't see this erroneous message? Or is there a way we can alter the redirect so that it doesn't trigger this warning?

The old adage "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" is in full effect in this situation and I'm sure you can see that we certainly don't want to give people any reason to not continue to our site, so hopefully you can offer a solution to this problem.

Thanks in advance!
