I am not ALLOWED to ever find the location of the firefox address or navigation bar. The "people" of firefox use these two names all over this site, and not once will anyone tell me the location, or how they may be accessed. If the most basic data is EXCLUDED, because EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT FIREFOX, how is the new user to find anything? I have spent 7 hours on your website, because this browser idles at almost a gig of RAM on the browser homepage, I researched and found out I'm supposed use the "navigation bar" unfortunately someone forgot include it's location. It's great that you include the data that the "minimize memory usage" button exists as a tool, BUT WHERE IN THE HELL WAS IT HIDDEN? I have never experienced a product that intentionally excludes instructions, and there is no way to get any help or service, and I'm left with this poor excuse for customer service with leaving questions that will never be answered. Thanking you in advance for NO HELP OR SERVICE, James Erb(email address).

The awesome bar's adress-bar history is a privacy threat. How to erase routinely. Even CCleaner Pro doesn't get it.

I've researched the net and every "solution" that has been offered fails to work.

I'd like the awesome bar (address bar) not to remember or suggest anything and if by chance it does remember something I want CCleaner to be able to delete the entries.

This is a deal breaker. If I can't protect my privacy using Firefox I'll find another browser. I am a longtime Firefox user and want to stay with Firefox.

I use multiple profiles for work and personal browsing, and it's very important that I know which window will open a link when I click it.

I do this today on Chrome by focusing on the browser I want to receive the link before clicking it. Otherwise you have to constantly copy/paste a link from one window into another, which is a huge time waste.

This is today, the only thing that is stopping me from moving from Chrome to Firefox. Perhaps I missed something when I tried doing this in the past. Is there a setting or something else that can get Firefox to have a similar behavior?

I've had Firefox "armored" for a while - Ublock to block adds, Ghostery to block trackers and other things, Cookiebro to control who installs information on my computer. The latest Firefox (63.0) now also has tracking protection. I've mostly been happy with the first three - is Firefox's new tracking protection overkill?? Maybe too much of a good thing, and if so which one should I get rid of??

Any suggestions? thnx,...

Clicking on the "File" choice on an open file in the Internet Explorer produces a drop-down menu containing a 'Send to" choice which can be used to send an icon for that file to the desktop. Now, where is the equivalent feature in Mozilla's Firefox? This, of course, presumes that they do have one!

In Firefox 63, when the Most Recently Used tab switching is selected, and when using it by Ctrl-Tab, there is an overlay and I need to press Enter to apply.

Is it possible to remove the preview? (There no such thing like browser.ctrlTab.previews in about:config) Or why I need to press Enter?

Hi.

I was looking how to restore the old ctrl+tab behavior and found https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1241201#answer-1174594 . This answered my first half of the question.

However, I do find the new ctrl+tab behavior useful, however not as a replacement of the old behavior, but as an additional feature.

Is there any way I can have ctrl+tab/ctrl+shift+tab behave in the old way, while binding a custom keybinding to the new recently used order tab behavior? (say, e.g. binding it to win+tab)

I was writing in blog post and needed to Underline something and it opened View Source. I opened several other pages and it happened on all of them. Not sure if Firefox didn't recognize wordpress's text editor as a text editor, if there is a different Underline shortcut or if they are just doubled up and View Source takes precedent.
