Hi, I'm just working on a new website, and I noticed something odd that happens only when I open the site via Firefox. On browsers like Safari and Chrome the rgb hex colour looks identical as in Adobe Photoshop or Apple Pages, where I created content, but Firefox seems to oversaturate the fonts quite nasty for some reason.
I attachted you a screenshot where it should be very visible. If this is a bug, is it possible to get this fixed soon? I don't really want to put a warning on my website for Firefox users if possible.

A complex website I created suddenly has multiple Windows Mozilla users complaining that the font size is smaller in Web forms. They've sent me screen shots and it's true. They say this occurred around Wednesday August 19, 2015.
No changes have been made to the website. There are a production and a test website and the problem exists in both places. The problem exists only on Mozilla on Windows, and multiple individual users have experienced it.
I have verified the font looks smaller on Mozilla. There is no such problem in Google Chrome.
Did an automatic update perhaps change the default font size? Possibly only the font size inside Web form fields?

After updating my graphics card driver and switching from a 60Hz main display to a 120Hz display, Firefox became very slow and unresponsive. Text is also rendered weirdly, and no amount of ClearType correction does correctly fix it. The monitor displays text in images and videos as well as text from other applications correctly. Moving the browser window to any of the other three connected displays, all running in 60Hz mode, does not fix either issue. I've used Google to search for similar problems and tried multiple possible solutions, like disabling HW acceleration and restarting in safe mode, but sadly none of those worked.
I've appended a screenshot from https://www.typetester.org that shows three different fonts. It should be obvious that neither the examples, nor the default font of the site, is rendered correctly, although the example to the far left doesn't look as bad as the rest.
EDIT: Added another screenshot, this time an excerpt from a Wikipedia article. This shows that the kerning is all messed up (CMMI looks more like CMVI) and somehow cursive font is rendered almost correctly.
Font got set "segue UI" as default automatically. Font appear very bold in Firefox. Font setting does not work. On starting forefox without add ones error fixed

I use hardware acceleration, and it works okay except for the looks that come with it on the fonts. They look jagged and "not so smooth" as they could be - and I have bad vision. I found out somewhere that they look smooth if I set either "layers.prefer-d3d9" or "gfx.direct2d.disabled" to true. How are these different if it could be explained in a simple way? The fonts look good with any of these set to "true", BUT it seems some performance is lost. Which one causes the biggest performance drop? And a second question; Is there a complete reference/documentation for all the settings in "about:config", I like a good read (and to explore settings), but it's hard when some entries have either been removed, and it's difficult to know when a new one is added... I like to know what is going on in Firefox, but finding up to date info isn't the easiest thing.

On lots of websites text appear as an 'A' in a box (see screenshot - i've blurred some content due to privacy). I've gone through my preferences and checked 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above'. When I uncheck this box using my font selections things display fine however when I check it I get this problem. I'm a web developer so I can't override site fonts, I need them to display as intended. I've checked Chrome and Safari on my machine and they are fine so this problem is isolated to FireFox. I've tried restarting FF in safe mode but it made no difference, I went to the config page and changed network and gfx references back to 'reset' and again it doesn't make a difference.
System details: FF = 56.0 (64 bit) OSX = 10.9.5
enclosed image says it all.
thanks for looking into this!

Mozilla Portable. Mostly everything is fine with text on pages but Disqus comments have empty spaces instead of text. Also email subscription and push notification popups can have the same effect. Modal window but no text. I tried the tips found in this support forum (sandbox something value 2 or 1 or 0) — didn't help. Note: in screenshot text won't show but hyperlinked text (active URL) was shown correctly (hidden by black marker) If you can help somehow I would really appreciate it!
When I open up my You Tube channel, the text inside my control panel looks blurry. How can I change this ?

I need to allow 2 sites (so far) to choose their own font styles and sizes, but most of the rest drive me bananas and are difficult to read, I've tried installing 'Stylish' but that just offers a list of styles for specific sites (like YouTube and GMail etc) made by coding type people.
That's not me.
Didn't there used to be something that let you change fonts and colours when you had the site page open? There was a pane to one side that gave you a preview of what your adjustments would look like - what can I use like that for FireFox 36?

(1) Uninstall Flash Player popup (2) The text on Firefox is very faint and unreadable. Please tell me how to fix this.

Currently I am using Firefox 40 on Windows 10. Some Turkish characters are not displayed with the same style and size. I attach a screenshot to exemplify it.
Most commonly Firefox show Turkish characters with a different font in disproportionate size with respect to the rest of the text. Sometimes even the diacritic marks are scattered around. Like ü being rendered as u¨ , sometime the diacritic is above another letter. I can assume sometimes this error is due to lack of Turkish characters in the font set. Browsers usually show the closest font having the said characters. But Firefox does this very very sloppily. The problem appears to be branching out, Chrome sometimes may show all the page with a different font set, but most of the time it generates a uniform appearance of Turkish sentences. Edge and Firefox have common distortion issues mostly, but there are a few cases where Firefox still displays distorted but Edge/IE shows correctly.

Hello,
I have just changed font size and unchecked "allows pages to choose their own font" in the option/content page and I still get different much smaller size text on some of the pages I go to? I have looked at all the solutions posted. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
