I have tried to upload files in several websites and the "upload" button isn't working. I tried in Safari and I'm not having this issue. It's an issue keeping me from working. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi, I am trying to save my most important Bookmarks as Shortcuts in Firefox Homepage, but Firefox is not showing the icons of the shortcuts, instead it is showing as Letters of the site. Please refer the image that I have attached. Incase if the image in the attachment fails, use this link Do note that the icons in bookmarks bar are showing fine, but the problem is only in Homepage shortcuts. Please help in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance

I was watching anime today on some site and my firefox was downloading many files without my knowledge into my download folder. I'm worried that it can be some viruses? This is a screenshoot. Should i be worried? Thank you for help.

When I download a file before I even have a chance to save or open the file Firefox downloads the file and puts it on my desktop. I have to look at lots of .pdf files and this a bit annoying as I have to keep deleting all the files I dont want. The dialog box opens and I always choose open rather than save but Firefox has already saved a copy to my desktop. How can I stop this autosave please ? Cheers.

not able to sign in on my account or track packages on FEDEX website. I talked with FEDEX and they say to try another browser and when I do the site works. I have tried taking off enhanced tracking and restarting in safe mode I cleared cookies and all. Is there a fix for this?

Wordle does not work properly on FireFox. It does not recognize characters that I enter as valid characters in the solution of the day. This occurs quite frequently.

Hi, I have a extension in chromium based browser which is "extensity", it helps me to turn on off the extension without actually removing them and re-installing them. I need this because I have too many extension and each of them is useful but not all the time some are rare use, and I don't want them to be turned on all the time. Mainly because I think they will contain more resources and slow down the browser.

My Firefox browser is out by 4 hours. I am eastern and it recently switched to west coast time zone on its own. It did it once before and fixed itself in about a week. Other browsers are fine. I would like to stick to FIrefox but my shop tells me to switch. Can you tell me how to correct this problem? Thanks, Glen [email removed from public]

I have not accessed my Devices since a few updates, I use to be able to rename devices, but in 99.01 I no longer see this as an option? I also have found that sometimes when I add a device is adds the Machine name which I prefer and today I logged out all of my devices and found that it added it and named it a generic name "Firefox 99, Windows 10" Which if grave concern as this could be Any Device. Can someone please let me know how this feature in version 99.01 is suppose to name computers and also can you still rename devices and if so how would you change the name, or if there is a link to documentation on this feature as it has changed. TIA for your help.

I see that form data for common fields like adresses and usernames are filled out for me. I don't like this data being stored except in my password manager. Keepass is the only one I trust because indie.

Firefox is adding +1 before 7-digit phone numbers. There are two things wrong with this. The + sign is only appropriate for cell phones and some websites will not accept phone numbers with the prefix as valid. When will this be fixed?

I've noticed there is a "verified by Amazon" icon in my address bar next to the FF shield. How did it get there, can, or should, I remove it and how. I don't trust anything Amazon does, so if possible I would like it to be gone.

Hi Firefox community, whenever I hit "space key" while I type, then it scrolls downwards which I annoys me. This happened at "Otranscribe" website where I was typing and this thing happened. Please tell me how can I stop the scrolling when hitting space key?

When I use Firefox on my Mac, no matter what I have tried it keeps defaulting to the dreaded Bing Search Engine. I understand it has to do with Microsoft, but I don't use any of their products because I don't like them. In settings/search I can restore the default search engines & delete Bing, but it always reverts back to insisting on using Bing again. I have followed several threads about this issue without permanent resolution. Help??

I need a FireFox feature that allows me to access the typical Cable Modem Gateway Web Manager addresses (192.168.0.1, 192.168.100.1, etc.) even when they have no security certificate.

I have been using a Arris SURFboard SBG6782-AC Wireless Cable Modem Gateway (purchased at TARGET) for over five years without significant issues. About three weeks ago my MoCA network began having issues. I tried to login to the WEB Manager of the Gateway at (192.168.0.1) using FireFox. I got the following FireFox Msg:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.0.1. Peer using unsupported version of security protocol.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

This website might not support the TLS 1.2 protocol, which is the minimum version supported by Firefox.

I finally used an old version of "Internet Explorer" which allowed me to bypass the security warning and connect via a direct ethernet port of the gateway. Evidently someone (Spectrum claims they didn't) downloaded a different firmware version into my Gateway. (D30GW-EAGLE-1.5.4.0-GA-10-NOSH) i.e. not the factory original version. The WEB Manager interface is different, password requirements are enhanced, the MoCA feature can't be enabled, and it seems Arris no longer provides a security certificate for the 192.168.0.1 Gateway address.

Considering the complete lack of cooperation of Spectrum and Arris, I think it is unlikely that I will ever be able to recover the factory original firmware; So... How about adding an "exception" feature to FireFox settings to allow me to at least access my "unsecure" Gateway. I really don't want to go back to using IE. By the way, I wrote this on a WIN 8.1 HP laptop. My main machine is a Dell XPS8300 running WIN 10.
