Hello :)

OS: Windows 10 1809 LTSC Firefox Version: 89

Firefox is behind a proxy and I have problems with applications like BigBlueButton and DFNConf(Pexip), which using WebRTC.

about:webrtc shows problems with ICE. It seems Firefox doesn't use the proxy config properly on this step. The Proxy is set via GPO.

Testing with other browsers show that there is no issue with webRTC. Only firefox doesn't work.

Is this still a bug or should I try some other configurations?

Dear All,

I urgently need to retrieve various documents saved in the past as web pages with the Scrapbook extension which I found very easy and useful. Some of them date back to 2008. When I try to reactivate ScrapBook in "Add-ons and Themes" I find that ScrapBook is disabled and that there is no switch to re-enable it. i have access to the ScrapBook folder in the /home/.../.mozilla/firefox/********.default folder. Indeed I find in that folder a lot of data folders titled with the date and time of creation but it is very tedious to search. How can I reactivate ScrapBook or is there another way to easily access all these pages saved with ScrapBook? Firefox extension or standalone software?

Thanks in advance to all!

I've written an extension that adds a custom entry to my right-click menu (browser.contextMenus.create), but can't seem to find a way to make this function fire via hotkey (after right-clicking). Would this be possible?

Strange problem. My provider, Bell Canada, has an option via their website for me to view anything from live Bell TV or even my PVR on any device with a browser (in my case latest Firefox on win10). The problem is it is taking up most of my ram, and as I'm sure many will attest to, when Win10 has less than a couple of GB of ram, it just grinds to a halt (30-40 seconds to open a tiny 10kB spreadsheet, etc.).

I did a memory measurement from the about: thing. Perhaps one of you wizards can tell me if it's a firefox issue or a problem with the Bell website/scripts/whatever? I just cannot believe that it takes 8 GB to watch a video stream. That's more than an entire DVD movie - with all the alternate-language soundtracks and special features!

Ouch. I mean, ouch. Good to find out if there's some way to fix this. Thanks ahead of time! Avner

The Firefox Community here has tried to be very helpful with all the users who hate the changes in Version 89/90, but we need Mozilla/Firefox to hear us.

CSS work-arounds are fine for the IT-literate, which I am not. They are also only temporary. We have no indication that FF is even paying attention to our complaints.

They need to understand that some users have a keyboard and mouse attached to a PC, not a touchscreen like on a pad or phone. It looks like FF wants to cater to touchscreens. This DOES NOT WORK for PC users.

I suggest one UI for touchscreens and a different one for PCs. IIRC, there is a FF version for Windows AND a different one for Apple; why not do the same?

Nobody seems to have any response other than "use this CSS fix." I've also been directed to "clean up the help platform myself" - huh?

Can we please get SOME kind of response from the platform itself? Or are they just trying to get rid of all users without touchscreens?

Hi. I'm experiencing issue when FF pops up new window (I need it this way), it pops up right behind taskbar, which I have on top of the screen (used to it since Amiga), so that I can't reach top of the popup to slide it or minimize etc. and have to stretch it a bit to get it bellow the taskbar. Annoying. I thought it is a Windows issue, but Chrome works well, no hiding popups, just alligning them bellow the taskbar. I don't wanna use Chrome, so please, let me know about workaround. Thanks. hippo

I'm on a Mac, running Catalina, with 64 GBs of RAM, and Firefox is using about 20+ GBs of RAM, and very high CPU usage. I keep trying new updated versions, hoping this will no longer be an issue, but it persists. Is there anything I can really do, to tamper it down?

I tried opening FF in safe mode, only to find several windows with several tabs on each GONE! Why should troubleshooting issues only make me more frustrated and ready to can this browser forever? Help should be help, not making things worse...
