I was saddened to learn that the Danish help forum (I do not remember its official name) – where two extraordinarily helpful and very capable gentlemen for a total of eighteen times (beginning in 2014) promptly offered solutions to problems (that kept me from working). I sincerely wish to thank them!

But: being unable to find the aforementioned forum anywhere, I guess I will have to try to state my current problem in English instead (even though this involves the added difficulty of my, being an amateur, not knowing the correct translations of the Danish words used in menus &c.

My current problem is this, however: My Firefox Browser (64 bit, version 108.0.1) will no longer allow me to access two (Danish) websites which I have been visiting either daily or several times a week for years (without any difficulty).

One of these sites is the (government-run) official Danish Film Institute at https://www.dfi.dk/.

I have no difficulty getting access to the first (main) page. But when I click on one of the numerous “subordinate” links there (such as: https://www.dfi.dk/cinemateket/biograf), I (frequently, though not every single time) get “error message,” including this “error code”:

SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL

When I search in Mozilla help forums for advice about what to do about this, I am instructed to get in touch with the owner of the site (i.e., The Danish Film Institute). So I called them, and got in touch with their webmaster (I think it was) who informed that, to his knowledge, there was nothing wrong with their “security protocol” (or whatever he called it) and that he had never had a similar complaint from other users.

Another site, to which I have (since a number of weeks) systematically been denied access (if I use Firefox – but not if I try Microsoft Edge instead) is a small, not-for-profit, amateur-driven, web-based Danish radio-station (to which I have been listening (and paying my dues) for decades): https://www.radiojazz.dk/.

When I try, I get the same error-code:

SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL

I did sent an e-mail to the station, but they haven’t answered. (I cannot blame them, they are only a small handful of volunteers.)

My operating system is Windows 10 (yes, I know there is a new edition, but at least the one I have is fully updated).

Can anyone tell me how to get Firefox to re-install the certificates the browser thinks it is missing?

When I use the import feature on the bookmarks bar Firefox doesn't detect the Chrome browser. I get the following message: "No programs that contain bookmarks, history or password data could be found."

Why do I get this warning (when I am ready to start the VPN install):

This page loads the "feedback form" on other browsers. The questions do not show up when using firefox.

Hello Mozilla - Community, why does this( https://youtu.be/bXvv7vDEDyQ ) video only have no sound in Firefox? And what do you have to do where so that Firefox also plays the sound? It is like this in Firefox version 108.0.1 & Windows 10 22h2 64 bit. I use a translation program from German to English. As said before, thank you very much for your answer.

I'm in the process of setting up a macbook pro running macos Ventura 13.1.

I downloaded and installed firefox version 108.0.1 for macos. When I click on Firefox->settings, no window is displayed. I noticed that an entry for a settings window is added to the list of windows under the Window meu. But when I click on that entry a tick appears alongside the entry but the window itself doesn't display.

If I close all other windows, then exit firefox, then restart firefox, no windows are displayed. The single entry for settings is still in the list of windows under the Window menu and has a tick next to it, but the window won't display.

I've tried rebooting the machine and downloading/re-installing the firefox app, but that makes no difference - whatever I try, I cannot get the settings window to display.

What am I missing?

I can't load any web sites in Firefox on my desktp computer. On the laptop it's fine--otherwise I couldn't send this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, and it still doesn't help.

On Firefox startup it asks me for my Master Password.

My problem is, that the popup window is only bound to one specific Firefox window and since I've got like 6 different Firefox windows, I have to every time click through all of them to find the one, that has the popup window attached to it. This is really annoying.

I thought there was an option to turn that popup window into a actual separate window of it self, but I can no longer find that option anywhere.

Is it still possible to do that? Or has this functionality been removed?

When trying to play Netflix, or any streaming service that is not Youtube, this error message appeared. I followed the DRM troubleshooting, reset the user configurations, and because the error code when trying to play something on Netflix said I was out of date (even though I'm on the latest version of firefox) I deleted and redownloaded Firefox and synced everything again. It says Widevine will be downloading shortly, and I think this might be a part of the problem but I'm not sure how to get it to manually download. I am on a Macbook Air, I've also followed the instructions on the Rosetta troubleshooting and nothing has changed. I've restarted after toggling the options on and off for always allowing the DRM as well as after setting Widevine to always allow and allowing automatic updates. I don't have Avast but I do use a separate VPN, and I also have U-Block origin and adblock not sure if that's messing with it? I really love Firefox and this is the first time I've followed through all the troubleshooting and something still doesn't work. If anyone has any idea on what to do, would love some help :) Thanks in advance!

Earlier today I changed my settings in "Privaty & Security" to "Clear history when Firefox closes". In that setting I selected to only delete "Browsing and download history."

I assumed this would just delete my browsing history from the URL bar, but now after I closed Firefox, it also deleted all my tabs!! There were many important tabs that I don't want to lose. But I also can't find them under 'recently closed tabs', and I also tried a solution from this forum, namely to find the recovery file and upload them to https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html -- but they don't contain my old tabs either!

Is there still something I can do to recover my lost tabs??

Starting just yesterday, I noticed that I couldn't watch Netflix through my Firefox browser. The site home page will load, but clicking on shows follows the link, but never loads anything. Similarly, nothing autoplays and clicking the search icon won't even open the search function. I tried watching Netflix on Chrome and Safari on the same device, on the same wifi, and had no problems.

I saw on a reddit form that I should ensure that "Enable DNS over HTTPS" was checked, and it was. I don't have any pending updates, and I'm really stumped on what could be causing the issue. Any insight?

I upgraded to 108.01 three days ago. It crashed 3 times in the next two days, accompanied by that popup you get informing you of the crash.

For years I've been using the extraction method of the executable to create a Firefox portable application. Upgrading only involves the install folder. The profile remains untouched, unaltered.

I had an incident of profile corruption a couple months ago, with basically Firefox launching with most features not working, i.e. toolbar buttons, toolbar menus, etc. Yesterday, for a short time, aside from two crashes, I had a similar experience with the buttons, but not quite the same. My default built in Firefox buttons worked, but my extension buttons didn't. I also noticed on a page that I regularly visit, Ublock origin wasn't doing it's regular job of blocking, and the Ublock button was non-responsive.

I'm also in the process of using the Brave Browser for the first time. The reason I'm posting this here about this subject, including a Brave experience, is that at the same time I was experiencing the Firefox erratic behavior, Brave was crashing as well; freezing; tabs not loading.

Considering the Brave tabs not loading, and the temporary Firefox Ublock origin failure, etc., I'm wondering if there might be something in common here? Maybe an internet connectivity issue at the time?

So I recently switched to using Soundcloud, and whenever I try to access the website again, I have to reset cookies and log in again. A similar issue has been happening when I use Twitter (I can't log out of my account). I've tried resetting firefox, uninstalling and reinstalling, absolutely nothing is working. Can someone please help me? Thanks!

On one of my PCs the "Remember me" does not work .Please see the screenshot.

Normally, when I select "Remember me" the email address should be remembered and auto filled. On this machine it does not work.

Please note that I do not want to have login saved ( i.e. User Name and Password). Saving passwords works properly.

MY INBOX HAS CHANGED IN ITS APPEARANCE WHERE AS THE SIZE OF THE SPACE FOR THE EMAILS ALLOWS ONLY FOUR EMAILS TO BE VIEWED ON THE WHOLE SCREEN. I USED TO SEE MAYBE TEN. Many sites I visit on a regular basis, such as banking etc. come up with a warning and direct me to this site automatically but only while using FireFox. https://takeyourpresent.life/?u=63fkp0n&o=uh7pmz8 My AntiVirus also stops FireFox from continuing to my regular sites and points to this site as insecure. Again only while using this browsers not any others. Something seems to be embedded into FireFox. Please look into it, in other words,,,,HELP!

Firefox after actualisation, which cannot be turned off instead fonts shows squares at Facebook games as you can see at the picture, Also full screen mode constatnly is broken by showing black window, after refressing it works but in different period of times and again window becomes black
