I changed approx 15 passwords in Chrome and I would like to import then into FF. I already have the old logins/passwords in FF. If I import them from Chrome will I end up with double entries or with they be over written with the updated passwords?

For the last few weeks I keep getting this error message: An error occurred during a connection to ....... You are attempting to import a cert with the same issuer/serial as an existing cert, but that is not the same cert.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL

It will suddenly happen for multiple sites that I have been connected to in the past, or new sites I try to open including support.mozilla.org. A solution is to clear my history and restart the browser. It only happens on my windows 10 laptop. I think happens when I have logged off or the device has slept and then firefox has restarted and opened previously open tabs. Other devices on the same network don't get effected.

When FF on my Windows 10 machine crashed FF asked if I wanted to refresh FF. I said yes, and FF reopened as usual with all my tabs. After I closed and reopened FF the next time, it reopened without any of my tabs. I then discovered that FF had unchecked the “Startup Open previous windows and tabs” box, which I had previously religiously monitored to be sure it was checked. So I lost all my previous tabs.

In my sessionstore-backups folder I found the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 as last in a list of three more recent file names. I then dropped the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 in the scrounger tool on this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It expanded in the big window, and when I clicked on Save uncompressed JSON as text, I see all the URLs run together in a text file.

How can I use this information to recover my tabs, please? If so, how? Or is there a better way to use the Scrounger – or another – tool?

Otherwise if I delete the three more recent file names in the list above the upgrade.jsonlz4-20 file, and restart FF will I recover the missing tabs? If so would I the check or uncheck the Startup Open previous windows and tabs box?

Lastly, can I restore my missing tabs using Windows’ “System restore” tool from 3 days before the crash?

Greets to all After last update to 100.0.2 (64bit) connection to National Bank of Greece account is impossible due to an image error occurring, while entering OTP informing :

" error image " connection procedure with OTP failed. Please be sure that your browser allow you storing od cookies and try again.

This does not occur using chrome or edge ...

settings are checked ok, nothing changed recently

Operating System Ubuntu 20.04.4LTS on AMD® Ryzen 3 pro 3200g 64bit processor. Firefox Web Browser version 100.0.2 (64-bit)

The method I can reproduce sound distortion:

I have clear sound playback through both system HDMI speakers or if earphones are plugged in, verified using the Ubuntu Sound Output test left/right (without distortion)

Then if I open a normal Firefox window and listen to YouTube video for example I have no distortion, if I however open I private window, say to access training material on Microchip University site I suddenly have distorted playback.

Please advise why private window opened suddenly distorts my output sound. Sound suspicious.

(when i click "Capture video" the LED near the webcam hole is on, but preview not shown.

but in chrome, edge and opera connect successfully. first LED on, then preview is shown with no bug!

(first i check firefox, not connected, then check in chrome connected, NOTE: device is not busy with chrome when i check firefox, i am a web developer:) )

My shortcut display had frequently visited websites shown and these have been replaced by several sponsored shortcuts I am not interested in. Plus, my saved user names and passwords are not loading even though they are still stored. I don't understand what happened, why these have changed, or how to restore what I previously had on shortcuts. I am not a tech savvy person and am stumped and looking for help

I know this has been asked before but I've looked through past instances and couldn't find a solution that still seems to work as of 2022. I need a way to disable certain built-in Firefox keyboard shortcuts. I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox but if I can't disable the ctrl+i and ctrl+b keyboard shortcuts I'm going to have to switch back. I use both very frequently for work, so their non-functionality in this browser is genuinely impacting my productivity and it's getting really frustrating.

When I try to load random web pages on some well known websites, some load, and then turn blank.

This happens at random, it seems. Most of my browsing seems to work fine.

Reloading doesn't help.

Troubleshooting mode doesn't help.

When accessing my Google Drive on Firefox and opening a shared folder containing picture files, the files can only be downloaded, not previewed. This is the case for heic files (I am working on a PC; files were uploaded from an iPhone) and jpg files. The latter can be opened in Google Docs; the former can only be viewed using an outside app. In both cases, the files must be viewed outside the drive. The file previews appear (both on the icons and if the files are double clicked) when opened in Microsoft Edge.

When opening History the column headers are there but no dates are shown in the Added and Last Modified columns. These columns are selected in Views and the listed web pages appear to be correctly sorted into Added date order. My browser is up to date an is 100.0.2 64 bit. Thanks

After Format my laptop, I install Firefox and forget password after Reset password all fine then enter email and password to Sync all data but, I don't see any data this data have a lot of passwords and bookmarks, How can I FIX IT????

I was about to add another folder into my personal bookmark folder and I don't know what I did, maybe by accident and now I can find that bookmark folder...What should I do? much thanks... MW

Hi, I lost firefox browser because of I setup new windows so i install again but unfortunately i cant get back my previous bookmarks settings and more. Please turn off the download drop down menu that appears every time I do a download...if you cant do that then give your users the option of turning it off or on...

I am using Firefox to interact with Babbel language software. I cannot get Firefox to allow me to use my standalone microphone. I tried all the Firefox recommended fixes, but I cannot make them work. I go to the "Microphone" permission setting. There is nothing listed there and it will "not" allow me to add the Babbel website? What do I need to do to allow my microphone to work with Babbel?
