It appears that this question has been asked many, many, many times and yet a clear, concise answer hasn't been provided. How do I change my updates from the beat release channel to standard updates? There should be a simple procedure to do this without a lot of unnecessary information in the answer and ultimately no answer to the question.

I installed an extension from a website(not from addons.mozilla.org) and found it a bit suspicious so after around using it for 1 minute immediately removed it... So will an extension be able to access root/admin permissions if it had some malicious script executed(I am using debian) or can extension access system files,modify,delete or install/download anything without the users' permission?

Not sure the design team can do anything about this, but...

I just got a full page pop up with a link to "Update to the Latest Version of Firefox," which I did not click because I was suspicious. 1) Normally the notice to update is a small rectangle in the right upper corner. 2) I had just updated yesterday.

Firefox reports that it is up to date,

My security is set to "Block pop-up windows."

The pop-up opened when I clicked this news article linked by a member in a private Facebook group:

When I clicked the link again to test it, only the requested article opened.

The pop-up had the Firefox logo and appeared legitimate to me in every way.

Sorry, I did not think to copy the update link before I closed the pop-up.

How to I alter settings on Firefox so I can download attachments on AOL mail? I can download them on other browsers, the problem is not AOL, it is Firefox. I have tried clearing cache and cookies, disabling enhanced tracking protection. What else can I do?

On thursday 4/28/22 I lost the ability to use Gmail via firefox. I keep getting errors such as check your network connection and Oops... the system encountered an error (#001)

I have updated my browser on my windows computer, my network speed, upload and download speed is good. All other websites are functioning just fine. Only Gmail seems to be affected on my computer. (It works fine from other computers and from my phone.)

First image shows me using a dark theme, but address bar still has white background. Second image shows that switching to the light theme makes the text readable. However, I would still like to use a dark theme. I believe I started seeing this issue right when Firefox updated itself to version 100. Any way to fix the bugged address bar color? None of my extension should be affecting the address bar color.

Hi. How do I give permission to Firefox to open a webpage? There seems to be a firewall issue or something? Please provide the exact steps to allow a URL to be opened with my permission. I have completely separate bookmarks and bookmark toolbars on my work PC and home PC. I do log in on my home PC as to not lose my personal bookmarks and passwords. I accidentally logged into Firefox at work and it merged my bookmarks from my home PC. I logged out of Firefox on the work PC and removed the bookmarks that were imported from my home PC profile. I then tried to make a new account with my work email and login to sync on my work PC but it always says primary email needed and I'm stuck. I did go to about:profiles and add a work profile but that doesn't help me. I need to make a Firefox profile on my work PC with my work email address but the primary email thing gets me. Is there a way to do this with my current work PC bookmarks not lost? Thanks

I have a world icon on tool bar with a red triangle notification. when i press on it it says "Cant connect to application" check your configuration. It does not allow me to open either statement. What is this?

How can I change the color of my Bookmarks Bar? After Firefox did an update a few days ago, my Bookmarks Bar is now white instead of blue...the way it was before the update.

After the last update, I've been getting news story pop ups in the bottom right corner. How do I shut this off? I have gone into Settings and shut off the various notification and push options that always seem to turn on after updates, but it continues. I never got the pop ups until right after the last update finished.

If Firefox is open and running, then the firefox icon is an orange fox. I Firefox is closed and not running, then firefox icon is a square white paper (generic icon). This problem did not exist in all previous editions of firefox, only in firefox 100. Help.

Auto-fill works fine for all other sites logins. Google uses similar 2 step login layout, when I click in the username box a list of usernames for google site drops down. This does not happen with Airbnb.

The problem occurs in multiple profiles including a new profile set up to test, all history and cookies cleared. First the browser offers to save the login with username empty. (Manually filled in username then saved.) Then logged out, login page username is empty. Does not autofill even when I start typing the saved username.

What is causing this? Is it happening on the main .com site or just the .co.nz site?. ( I am unable to test the .com site because I am in New Zealand, airbnb.com site redirects automatically to airbnb.co.nz url above) How can I fix it please?

I wanted to adjust some system preferences after installing the new FF 100 OS. Found I can't, either by menu or by keyboard shortcut. How do I get my access back? Using Mac OS 10.13.6. Do I need to go back to previous FF 99 version?
