Hello,

since today the Addons "uBlockOrigin" and "Ghostery" are not anymore working in Firefox. In Chrome all works fine.

When i load a YT-Video, i got an Ad, the Video is black, i see nothing but i hear the ad. This is since today and i never encountered that.

Someone can help me with that?

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Hello, I recently used my MacBook Air to connect with a projector for a classroom presentation. The presentation was using Google Slides. I adjusted the settings to optimize the presentation--setting the navigation and bookmarks bars to hide when in full screen.

I normally use my Firefox browser in full screen mode, but have the navigation bar and tool bar visible.

I cannot figure out how to undo what I did so that my navigation bar and toolbar are visible again when I am in full screen mode. Indeed, when I move the pointer to the top of the screen to make the navigation bar and toolbar visible, I cannot move the pointer back to the navigation bar or toolbar without it disappearing again. Essentially, I need to undo full screen mode.

How can you find the place to compose and send an email. This may be the 16th time I've asked. Used to be on the header of the email listing to compose. You clicked it and a form showed up. Now there is no place you can send an email unless you go to the list of all the emails you've ever sent and then send from there. If you have a new email person not on the listing, can you install an app on the header above the inbox email or somewhere like we used to get before you changed the appearance of how the emails look. I use a lot of keyword search engines. This means I can type something like `kagi foobar` to search Kagi for `foobar`. However the awesome bar has a "feature" where if you type a question mark (?) anywhere it instead uses the default search engine. This means that `kagi How do I cook a turkey?` searches my default search engine for "kagi How do I cook a turkey?" rather than searching Kagi (based on the `kagi` keyword). Is there a way to disable this behaviour?

I have searched about:config and "Search Shortcuts" in preferences doesn't have a `?`. I never use `?` as a shortcut to search (I just type the keyword for the engine I want) so completely removing it would be perfect.

i use New Tab Override, reinstalled my software, firefox, and lost the button to get a new tab that goes on the address bar. its no longer in customize. ive removed the addon and put it back on, started in troubleshoot mode, disabled all other addons, and it never showed back up

can someone help, the guy who made it wont help

Hi, I'm a Firefox user since around 2004. Whenever I used FF i always opened multiple windows of FF. At some point Mozilla came out with Tabs. I don't use them and as a matter of fact I use the option under settings to open links in a new window (not tabs). Always have, Why? Habit I guess from the times I first starting using FF. I seriously don't use Tabs. I would like to Remove the Tab Bar from FF because of this reason and it frees up a lot of visual space on my browser. I've spent hours reading/searching/trying on "how" to remove or at least hide the Tab Bar. Waste of time so far, so I decided to Post the Question.

How Do I Hide or Remove the Tab Bar in FireFox?

Is there some way to enable and disable specific config settings , on a per-site basis?

For example, let's say I want to disable right-click hijacking (dom.event.contextmenu.enabled) on turtlesaregreat.com, but use the default settings everywhere else.

The Page Info > Permissions panel has some, but not all the ones I want. Is this somehow built into Firefox, or maybe there's an extension?

FF120 on Sonoma

Hi all!

I am using Firefox Multi-Account containers with Firefox 120.0.1 (64-bit) and the New Outlook desktop client with Windows 10(*). I have more than one Office 365/Outlook account, so I use different containers for each account.

Whenever I click on any link in New Outlook, it opens in one of my Firefox containers rather than in a default No Container tab.

Unfortunately, it opens in a container where I am logged into a different Office365 account than the one I use for the desktop client. This means any Office or organisation-specific links fail to work unless I copy and paste the link across.

Is there some way to force Outlook to open these tabs as No Container?

I view a lot of pdf documents via firefox, the light gray background makes my eyes and head hurt after prolonged usage. In the past I found a solution on this forum that advised to set pdfjs.viewerCssTheme to "2" in about:config. This set the background of pdf viewer to black/dark gray. This has worked for years until recently when the pdf viewer switched to light mode again (pic 1). I checked the about:config settings for pdfjs.viewerCssTheme but there appears to be no change. I tried restarting the browser, setting the theme to 0 and to 2 again, updating browser. Sadly the theme is still light gray. Is there a way to change it again? The desired outcome is in pic 2. I do NOT want to change the color of the pdf pages themselves.

I've always liked the Firefox New Tab page, with Pocket, and until today, DarkReader plugin has always worked. But now it says that it can't because the page is protected.

I tried the solution to use bookmarklets, suggested in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1350781, but it didn't have any effect (https://sanketmehta7.github.io/DarkMode-JS-BookMark/

If I can't find a solution, I'll just ditch Pocket, and use Google as my first page, or something. Or maybe ditch Firefox, which doesn't seem to think that dark mode is important. I don't like being blinded by the light.

Why can't you pin the extension 'Tiny URL' to the toolbar any more?

This extension is really useful! I don't want to have to excavate Firefox to use it.

Tiny URL is more useful than the rather silly 'Pocket' which just seems to be a page full of adverts

As the title says when I am using the video player on Coursera website I am not able to hide the control bar while on fullscreen mode (even if I don t move my mouse for more than 15 seconds). I ve attached a screenshot with the control bar being displayed. (also the captions are overlapping with that control bar) I ve also tried different ways of opening the fullscreen mode (click on the "Full Screen" button or by pressing 'F'). I don t have this problem on websites like YouTube.

Is it still possible to configure userChrome.css to have the URL field in the Firefox 'Add bookmark' window? Also, is userChrome.css configuration going to be used no more in future releases? If yes, then how will we be able to customize, for example, fonts in Library, side bar and context menu?

Hello there, Iam facing a problem with changing Firefox homepage background. I tried every solution, tutorial, oldposts etc. nothing seems to work, here is what I tried. -1- The chrome folder is in the right folder. -2- the naming of both CSS files userChrome, userContent. -3- enabled CSS files at startup -4- search for both CSS files in the browser toolbox for some reason I cannot find both CSS files, even though they are in the chrome directory. Also, I have 2 chrome folders one of them is located here. "AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\shaf5qn0.default-release\storage\permanent\chrome" the other one I created myself which is here "AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\shaf5qn0.default-release\chrome" I tried to delete the first one but I cant, I get an error that this file is being used even though I did close Firefox. What I am missing here?

I have new windows 11 laptop. I added firefox browser & made it my default. It displays a news feed upon starting. I've never seen this on earlier versions. How can I turn it off? I don't want anything displayed except a search box & my bookmarks. If this can't be disabled I will be looking for a different default browser :( Thanks.

New FF version colors the active tab and page to an ugly and very annoying yellow. How do I turn that OFF? It's neither pleasing nor necessary, and I, for one, hate it.
