That idea did not work. I am still on the ESR channel, but now I am at 128.8.0. I was at 115 before. The compatability box was unchecked.

in settings Homepage and new windows use custom urls, current urls doesn't include Pinned tabs. Windows updated and when firefox was restored two windows were opened, one was blank and the other opened old home page settings but did not reopen all my pinned tabs, gmail, yahoo mail, and some other tabs I plnned, there are 5 of them and several regular tabs I had open before and most of them did not show up in history. Pinned tabs do not get included in use custom urls for the home pages. Also for several days my roboform bar would not show up, roboform said no open browers to attach to when firefox was open.

I have one and only one SMTP account. I have 1,000,001 POP accounts. Mailboxes and accounts have no relationship.
This is a serious question, not a joke.

When I open one tab on Firefox, my task manager shows multiple programs running along side it. I know some extra processes are needed but this seems like an unusual amount. I have included a screenshot of the tasks that appear. When I try to delete these, they reappear. I have tried various online solutions such as uninstalling and reinstalling, and checking various settings. It is affecting my computer's performance and I am not sure how to solve this. Thank you!

I update my browser often but still seem to get tons of update alerts. Do you update that often? I wonder if these alerts are a scam so when i get them I go to the Mozilla site and download the latest version. Why don't you just have an "update" button or something is it really necessary to download the whole thing every, what seems like, week?

I have a new e-mail address, so I'm updating all the entries in my about:logins list of passwords. There are a couple of moz-extension entries with very long codes as part of the name. When I click on these in the left-hand column, it appears in the main part of the window where I can edit or remove it. For regular website entries I can click on the link to take me to the site, but with the moz-extension entries I can't do that. Can these be deleted? Thanks!

Until I installed the latest update (136.0.1) I could open Firefox and navigate, never having to log into PW manager until I came to a site where I had to log in and use a saved PW. I have many sites where my login is remembered, and I don't have to log in, so this isn't needed most of the time.
Now EVERY time I open Firefox that request for my primary PW pops up and I have to hit CANCEL twice to clear it before I can to anything. It's an annoying pain in the tush.
How do I turn this off, or set it so that that pops up ONLY when I have to log into a site?
Latest update of Win 10 3/15/25
Thanks.
How do I fix this? (I didn't have this bug until version 130.)
I don't want search when I type these addresses

bold textno connection to youtube, thunderbird, firefox AND MY ROUTER! microsoft edge works.
Software is Preventing Firefox From Safely Connecting to This Site
news.google.com is most likely a safe site, but a secure connection could not be established. This issue is caused by Private Internet Access, which is either software on your computer or your network.
What can you do about it?
news.google.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.
If your antivirus software includes a feature that scans encrypted connections (often called “web scanning” or “https scanning”), you can disable that feature. If that doesn’t work, you can remove and reinstall the antivirus software. If you are on a corporate network, you can contact your IT department. If you are not familiar with Private Internet Access, then this could be an attack, and there is nothing you can do to access the site.
