I am unable to get printing to work correctly using Firefox with Epson POS TM-T20 thermal printers we have a work.

We're currently running Firefox on Debian 12. I've tried both the ESR version that comes with the Debian repository and the latest Firefox as a flatpak.

When printing to the receipt printer, the only thing that is printed is the left-hand most part of the logo and a little part of the text and this occurs towards the right-hand side of the paper. I've changing all of the settings, resetting the settings for the print in about:config, but nothing seems to work.

I'd love to get this working so that staff could use Firefox. I'm attaching an image of what the print job looks like and a screenshot of what the print-preview shows.

I've been using the Firefox browser, and recently when downloading files with Firefox, sometimes it prompts: .part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. # see image #1 I'm trying to download file to disk D. But the fail tips is download .part file to disk C. Maybe firefox is using some file cache policy which I don't know. I also checked both two location, my account have read/write access.

I can try to resume the download, and the download progress will increase, but about half a second later it will fail again. If the file is small and my internet speed is fast enough, after several attempts the file will eventually download successfully. # see image #2 I have tried using "private window" or enter "about:profiles" to create/use a new and clean profile, but the issue still persists. # see image #3 I tried using other download tools like "Internet Download Manager", and the download was successful. It's ok for use chrome to download the same file to same disk location. The problem recently emerged, it didn't exist before. At least a month ago, the same computer didn't have this issue. I'm not using parental controls.

Enivronment: OS: Windows 10 professional 22H2 Firefox version: "124.0.2 (64 位)", auto update is enabled, it should be the newest version. security software: windows defender

I've tried going into Full Screen mode three different ways:

• Clicking the green MacOS button in the upper left of the window
• In the Firefox menu in the upper right, to the right of the Zoom choice I click the full screen icon
• Pressing Command+Shift+F

But whatever way I do it, I still see the tab bar, address bar, and bookmarks toolbar rather than a true full screen. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

https://tasmota.github.io/install/ This is an example of what i am tryingto achieve bit no matter on which site i am , i do not get to choose from ports and my devices and always faults out saying similar messages that the browser does not support web serial in one way or the other for any site doing similar task. error message is as shown in the image shared basically complains of browser not supporting web serial.

Firefox can take screenshots of pages or screenshots of custom areas of pages.

According to the documentation, when we download the image, the filename should follow the pattern: Screen Shot yyy-mm-dd at hh.mm.ss.png. If I use the :screenshot at the console, the pattern works as documented.

But Firefox is using a different pattern when I choose Take Screenshot from the context menu. The pattern includes the page's title. Example: Screenshot 2024-04-14 at 18-35-16 General ‹ Settings ‹ Geomaster Lda — WordPress.png.

Since the page title can have non common filename characters, I have problems with such filenames. My uploads to MediaWiki fails with such filenames. I know I can report or improve MediaWiki, but my question here is quite simple.

Can I change the Firefox's default pattern for Take Screenshot's downloads?

HI, I have a Mac with El Capitan OS and Firefox 78.15.0esr. Recently I can´t open some websites: ChatGPT, Likendin, TunnelBear, Wester Union, etc. Before everything was working perfect. Please HELP! Thanks friends :) When I try to open this website, nothing happens, nor an error, sometimes in certain website it keeps retrieving and thats it.

Help! I updated and now all my tabs are crashing and I'm on a deadline! I tried to rollback but couldn't find the exe. Here are the last 5 crashes:

I am trying to access Oracle eBS instance but when I login to the page, I get a notification as shown in the image.

After installing the plug-in and restarting the browser, when I try to run the application, I get the same notification.

when I click on the firefox icon to load it takes me to my home page, but within 20-30 seconds it loads firefox again. it is very frustrating when I.m starting something and firefox loads again taking me back to home page. I have to go down to the bottom and click off the second firefox. I don't know how or why this started. Thanks for any help.

i am setting up a new laptop and trying to import all my current data from my old pc. Nothing is right. It imported alll the shortcuts on my toolbar from years ago. None of these are the current bookmarks from my old pc. ive tried syncing, importing again, nothing works. my bookmarks on my side bar are years old. I dont have ANY of these on my old pc as i deleted them years ago. what the heck is happening and how do i get my new pc browser to look exactly as my old pc looks. This is very frustrating. I have over 500 bookmarks on my sidebar. it looks like every bookmark i have EVER used. This is ridiculous.

After years of accessing www.youtube.com with Firefox with no problem, the website is no longer accessible as of yesterday. When I point my browser to that URL, I get a screen with greyed out video previews, greyed out titles, greyed out account access and a search window that does not do anything. I can access YouTube just fine with Safari. I've cleared my cache. Please advise.

I want to use extension xpi's from a shared external folder over multiple Linux profiles. So i examined the profile folder and found extensions.json. Though i can't find any documentation to it's keys online.

There's "rootURI:" with a "jar:file://path/to/extension.xpi!/", so i tried just replacing the path with the shared one. Though i observed that just makes firefox replace the path with the current one. So i examined further and found the "location:" key with the default value "app-profile". So my guess is, there's other values for other usecases, right?

So, in summary, what i need is:

• documentation to extensions.json keys or possible values to "location" key.
• if that isn't intended/doesn't work, how i can achieve my goal otherwise.

And please don't suggest the sync feature, that doesn't work for my usecase.

I have not been able to highlight and copy ~ even prior to the most recent update.

Even using control/ does not work.

Really hating this.

/edit: moved thread from Firefox for iOS (for iPhone/iPad) to (desktop) Firefox section as you have macOS.

I can't open firefox. message says "firefox quit unexpectedly" and it won't reload. I tried Force Quit. I tried restarting my computer. I tried completely shutting computer down and restarting. It happened very suddenly yesterday.

What is a security key? Where do I find it? Why does Firefox think I have one?

And why is there no helpful information to explain this confusing UX?

We still use some Dell 13g servers equipped with idrac 8. When I'm trying to launch the virtual Console the window opens up but nothing shows. This used to work fine in previous versions of Firefox. I can't tell from which version it stopped but it's not long ago. Also idrac 9 console works fine in Firefox When trying to open console idrac 8 in Chrome it works fine Any idea what could be causing it? Any config switch to tweak?
