Long ago I used to never have to hit F5 to see today's version of a page instead of the cached version, and I do NOT want to clear cache or cookies or history on exit, no, that's not the setting I'm looking for, thanks.

When I watch a video not in the full screen mod, the colors are as dark as they're supposed to be (pic 1), but when I enter the full screen mod, the video gets pale/brigher (pic2, compare the dark zones). it's fully connected with hardware acceleration. When it's on videos get pale and when it's off they don't. But I can't turn it off because I also need it for an addon I use as it won't work without it. Someone on the forum here said that turning on layers.force-active might help with a bug of hardware acceleration. I turned it on and it helped - acceleration was on and videos didn't get pale, but then everything got back and now this setting doesn't work anymore. I also opened trouble shooting mode and videos didn't get pale with it even with acceleration on, but I don't know why, becaues when I closed it I deleted all the extensions, turned on acceleration and videos got pale again. And, this problem is only in this browser. This problem really keeps my up at night and I'm so tired of it

bold textExperienced Firefox browser session freezes a month or two ago. It seemed that some March/April '24 fixes/patches stabilized the app. They are occurring again with increased frequency. What should I do to avoid this problem or switching to another browser? Thx

I've noticed that when logging into various websites, a random email address not known to me appears in autofill among my usual email addresses. This unfamiliar address is under the @shanreto.com domain and shows up across different websites. My Firefox account is synced between my PC and mobile phone. Both devices are password-protected and under my control at all times, and I have only installed uBlock Origin as an extension.

Could there be any explanation other than the possibility of someone accessing one of my devices through malicious software or similar means?

hello when i write many cell code in google colab and then run all of them when output there and i want to scroll up from last cell code to go to top of page,i have lagging for scroll up in that and this problem just in firefox and in chrome is'nt problem thanks

I've followed all the recommendations. Problem still happens in troubleshooting mode as well. Doesn't allow sign in either. Have reloaded all C++, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted. No links or pages will open.

Well, since I changed to a new computer with Win 11, videos on Facebook don't play right. They are videos that are posted by various people and real entities. They are not smooth. They start to play and immediately pause then jump forward then pause and jump forward. If I copy the link and go to Chrome, paste the link and play the videos, they are normal Never did that on my old computer. Any ideas why the videos don't play normal?

in google and in other browsers when you have multiple tabs in a container you have an option to minify all tabs in the container. is there a similar feature for firefox,

Steps for reproduce:

• Turn ON PC
• Launch Audacious player
• Launch Firefox
• Visit to drupal.org

And I have sound glitches like on radio tuning. From all software, that have sounds: players, browser, messengers. Glitches disappear after restart. I find only 2 sites, that make it: drupal.org and my local bank. With Chrome - no problems.

Without Audacious glitches can be to, but not in 100% of cases.

For some reason my tab icons look a little low, and I would like them more vertically centered.

I've been trying to move these icons around using some older code that doesn't seem to work anymore.

The code below no longer has any effect.

Does anyone know how to move the tab icons up 1 pixel?

Hello, Mozilla Community, Hope you are doing well I'm contacting you to ask for help with a Mozilla Firefox problem I'm having with trying to visit the following website: https://www.chiropracticco.com/ It won't load, and I'm not sure if that's because of a bug in the website, a browser issue, or something else entirely.

Does anyone else have knowledge of this problem or recommendations for a fix? I've attempted removing addons and cleaning the cache in my browser, but the issue still exists.

I would be grateful for any advice or ideas on improving the usability of the website. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This has been brought up before, but not with this exact question (not that I could find, at least).

I understand that cookies cannot be synced across devices, but this is not what I am asking for. Is there a way to make firefox sync the list of exceptions? Meaning, only the specified website URL and its status, not the cookies from these sites.

This isn't the first time this has happened. After each occurrence, I have to completely uninstall the browser and reinstall it from scratch. This means I have to reopen all my tabs, which is very annoying. In Chrome, I have had a large number of tabs open for many years and it works fine.

With Mozilla, something terrible is happening... I have many tabs open in Mozilla, and there comes a moment when, upon launching the browser and opening two or three tabs, Mozilla starts consuming up to 10 gigabytes of RAM. If I open a few more tabs, the browser crashes. I don't need to open 50 or 100 tabs, just 7-8-10 tabs are enough to make the browser crash. Moreover, if I open a new tab and go to google.com, the browser takes a very long time to load, even if it's the second tab.

This problem has happened before. I don't do anything with the browser, just visit sites like YouTube.

Clearing the cache and other recommended actions do not yield positive results. This is very annoying. Mozilla is my first and favorite browser, which I have been using for almost 20 years. I wouldn't want to uninstall Mozilla.

Before the update on April 29 I had no issues with my eBay account on Firefox. Now I am unable to get the pages to work properly. I cannot list any items for sale nor can I change any of my items in my store. Nothing saves and then redirects me to the homepage. eBay is one of my trusted seitz so I have no idea what’s causing this. It’s not eBay because my other accounts work fine on Chrome and on Safari. It happened exactly when the last update happened. And the only way that I can actually get back to the original site is to clear all my cookies and log out and start all over again, only to have the same issues over and over. I don’t know who to contact. I’m losing money in my Business every day because of this so I’m going to have to change my browser unfortunately if I don’t get a solution as soon as possible. Thanks for anyone who can help appreciate it.

Hotmail (Outlook) search function has not been working for months. I signed in using Chrome and no problem.

I realized search in my hotmail account was not working maybe 6 months ago and I've been finding ways to work around it, but today, i got upset and tried to figure out what was wrong. I signed out and signed in. I googled what to do, updated Firefox, to no avail. Then I read to try another browser. Chrome worked fine for outlook/hotmail search function.

I need this search function. I prefer Firefox. let me know if it can be fixed?
