I will be to-the-point: Firefox 109.0 has forced the "extensions" icon (a puzzle piece) on my Bookmarks toolbar.

(1) I do not wish for it to appear there (2) I am not given the possibility to remove it from the "Customise toolbar" screen

Please assist.

I just installed the latest Version of Firefox 101.0 for Windows 10. Then when I tried to download a pdf file from my yahoo mail I received the following message: "Problem loading page" Firefox Can’t Open This Page To protect your security, dl-mail.ymail.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window. Learn more… Open Site in New Window Report errors like this to help Mozilla identify and block malicious sites

So, in order to open the page I have to press "Open Site in New Window"

Please advice why happened this issue and how can be fixed.

I was checking to make sure I was using the correct version of Firefox browser. I ended up on a page that stated "It looks like you haven’t started Firefox in a while. Do you want to clean it up for a fresh, like-new experience? And by the way, welcome back!" It went on to ask if I would like to Refresh Firefox, just like it was brand new.

In the Menu option on any Firefox page I can get on it states: "Account Disconnected". I have been using Firefox just about every day for 3 years. What is going on. I didn't dare click on the "Refresh Firefox" tab because I have no idea what will happen. Will I lose everything, bookmarks, settings, etc.?

For the last several FF versions, although I choose a light theme, the pull downs/menus always wind up dark with white text. It also shows up when I am editing options in FF itself. How do I stop this? I want a light background with black/dark text.

Tell me how to "re" install my previous version of 113.02 and then fix this bug. Don't know where to get "old" versions to download and will old version just "install" right over the version installed and keep all the bookmarks, etc.?

I know this is an ongoing issue but it seems like nobody has mentioned it in a while so I figured I would stir it up again. I am fed up with the bookmark double spacing and having to scroll down all of the time.

If nothing else I would think that the Firefox team owes all of its loyal users an explanation as to why they don't seem to want to fix this probem.

I am not sure what has happened but I had tons of passwords saved in my Mozilla browser. I have been using this since 2019 or 2020 and saved all of my passwords there. What happened is I was using my laptop and wasn't aware that the charger is not plugged in. While working my device turned off because of no battery. I connected the charger and restarted my device like normal. After I opened my browser(Mozilla Firefox) and ctrl+shift+t to open all the recently closed tabs, I was amazed to see that it restored many old sites like 1.5 month old websites instead of the one's which I was using. However, the recently closed one's were showing in the history. I opened the tabs from history that I needed and started using it normal. I have using Mozilla Firefox for good 2 years I never felt the need to remember any of my passwords. Everytime I have to create an account on any of the sites I just create a password once, at the time of sign up only and then click on SAVE PASSWORD so I don't have to remember it. I am guessing this is the normal practice that everyone does or may be a cast majority. I was doing my routine work, I tried to login to my account using the same way like you put in your email in the email section and then click on password section and select the user/email you want to use a password for and sign in. BUT TODAY WHEN I FOLLOWED THE SAME PROCEDURE, IT DOESN'T SHOW ME ANY SAVED PASSWORD WHICH WAS QUITE SURPRISING TO ME. I OPENED THE PASSWORD MENU FROM THE TOP RIGHT AND I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT THERE WE ZERO, LITERALLY ZERO SAVED PASSWORDS. I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS BECAUSE THOSE WERE SO MANY PASSWORDS LIKE SERIOUSLY SO MANY.

I keep getting this message that pops up in a private window to restart to keep using firefox. Everytime I click restart Firefox, it closes my tabs and opens them again. However, 5 minutes later the window pops up again. Even after repeated attempts of updating, even doing a full restart on the computer, Firefox continues to send this window to me. The private window in the bar says about:restartrequired.

I've tried uninstalling Firefox with a fresh install as well as doing a Refresh of Firefox. Neither seem to solve this problem.

I enjoy this handy addon, but it's got a couple bugs

Default Bookmark Folder

It's a recommended addon, but It seems that it's no longer being supported. Version is two years old, and issues reported on github are not responded to.

I wonder if anyone could recommend another addon with the same features.

I was watching anime today on some site and my firefox was downloading many files without my knowledge into my download folder. I'm worried that it can be some viruses? This is a screenshoot. Should i be worried? Thank you for help.

I haven't logged in to my firefox account for more than 3 years. I downloaded the latest version (109.0.1) today. After logging in, there is no data sync. After clicking the "sync now" button, it becomes gray syncing...., just After a few seconds, it returns to "sync now", and no data can be sync. How to solve it? Thanks

Despite i selected "always show" in the options of the menu toolbar, as indicated in many answers and guides, Mozilla keeps randomly to show or not to show (most of the times) my bookmarks in the top bar. The bookmarks are still there if i press on top on bookmarks in fact they appear, simply they are not anymore in the bar. I have reset several times to default from the options but it doesnt change anything. Any clue? Thank you

after update i have a big problem that might be related or might not. First of all, all the saved email logins are still there and still autofill in, but the passwords don't show up in the autofill anymore.

in my profile folder i have  3 files called logins.json-1.corrupt , logins.json-2.corrupt, logins.json-3.corrupt (380 ko )

i have doing this  : 1.Open the Firefox web browser. 2.Type about:support on address bar and Enter. 3.Click on the "open folder" (this opens the profile folder) Windows > Open Folder Linux > Open Directory 4.Close Firefox. 5. In profile folder, Check if you see a file called logins.json.corrupt. 6.If you do, rename the file to logins.json to fix it. 7.Start Firefox. The passwords should be available again.

the file logins.json become again logins.json-1.corrupt

i tried with diffèrent version of firefox jasonvieuw no solution file is corrupt plz any solution ? many thx

Autofill has been working perfectly fine until yesterday. There's not even a manage addresses in the privacy and security settings anymore.

Autofill card still works, but not addresses.

The Shortcuts saved on my Home Page have disappeared again. I cannot re-enter because they are not accepted. Why is this happening and how can it be fixed?? Very frustrated!

Firefox 121 Windows 10

Good morning, after today's FF update, it is not possible to login to the ASUS router (https://router.asus.com/). Yesterday everything was working fine before the update.

1. Does not work in private mode 2. Clearing the cookies did nothing. 3. You can log into the router in Chrome. 4. I don't have plugins installed.

Hey there! After updating Firefox to 121.0.1 YouTube latest videos box not showing. It appears for a few seconds after page is loaded, but then just disappears. Checked on another computer -- the same issue, although in 120.0.1 works fine.

Under about:preferences#privacy choosing "Max Protection", choosing Max Protection, be it NextDNS or Cloudflare means my synced profile takes 30+ seconds to load/authenticate.

Windows 10 22H2 Pro on a domain.

On MacOS, near-zero delay.

Both go through same router.

This seems...wrong.

I can't turn off lazy loading. I set the following about:config settings to "false":

browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand browser.sessionstore.restore_tabs_lazily browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand

Nothing changes. When I start Firefox, it simply won't load all tabs. How do I fix this?
