Should I be concerned? getting many, over 20, safeframe.googlesyndication cookies on firefox using yahoo and weatherunderground. I delete them and they come right back. Only on new laptop win11 v22H2. Firefox ver 111.0.1 This is a new laptop. I do not have these cookies on 3 other laptops, 2 windows 10, 1 win 11 also new. I see these cookies on CCleaner

Confused as to why there 44 instances of FF showing up in task manager. Win 11.

My PC is running v slow.

No viruses as per MWBytes scan.

How to reproduce: While private window is open, close Firefox regular window.

Issue: all existing tabs will be lost (Open previous windows and tabs is checked). Hope this got fixed soon.

Expected behavior: All tabs are kept when closing regular window with private window opened

Current workaround: In new window, restore the previous tabs from "History" > "Recently Closed Tabs"

I frequently open a web page, start filling in a dialog, switch to another tab to gather evidence, then return to the original dialog. In the past few days, I have experienced the loss of my input into the dialog. Indeed just now when I started searching help, added my question, then was moved to a replacement page to log in, I returned to the question to find it deleted. Earlier today when I had spent ca 15 minutes composing a reply to contribution in a Google discussion group, the same thing happened.

Is there someone in Moxilla who considers that my contributions are really worth deleting, and spends days waiting to pounce on my messages?

Is this a consequence of the new Firefox security system (whose name I cannot check for fear of losing this text along with the previous ones)?

when I right click on the Firefox desk top icon and slide down to property, for example, The resulting display is so small it is unreadable....can you help me with thi problem?...thanks Jerry.

Search on Sainsburys website returns wrong products. All other websites work OK. Search using Chrome works OK. Sainsburys said they would fix but have not. Any ideas?

On various websites, only on firefox, *some* of the math symbols appear as squares. As a mathematician, this is quite annoying and now I have to switch browsers until I get a fix. Please help!

Hi, I had not used bookmarks for some time and when I did...most of my bookmarks are missing and what is there is a mess. What happened and how do I or you fix this?

This has become really annoying: when I go to settings -files and application it is locked to "Downloads" Folder. I want them to go to desktop and then decide what folder I want to put them in (if at all)!

I HAVE YAHOO WIDER MAIL EXTENSION IN FIREFOX & HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS BUT NOW THERE IS NO ICON IN MY MENU BAR FOR YAHOO MAIL. YAHOO IS STILL MY DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE. WHAT CAN I DO? On the landing page for youtube, I used to be able to right mouse click on a video thumbnail and select "open image in a new tab" from the context menu and see the thumbnail in a new tab window.

After recent updates, (now using 111.0.1 64bit , on windows 10 pro), this feature no longer exists. It's not a change on youtube because the thumbnail is still recognized as an image and can be opened in a new tab when I use Edge browser. It seems like Firefox no longer recognizes the thumbnail as an image.

Is there any setting I can change to get the feature of "open image in new tab" back into the context menu. or somehow get Firefox to recognize the thumbnail as an image ?

Hi,

I am a developer. Firefox recently changed the way the Inspect tool highlights the element in question. Instead of a solid box will translucent fill for the content, padding and margin boxes, it only shows the outline of those boxes and it's very problematic to work with.

In the attachment I am highlighting the words "Shipping and Return Policy" and the light blue, purple and yellow outline represent the content, padding and margin boxes respectively.

How can I revert back to the old style where it shows the translucent boxes filled with respective colors instead of just the outlines.

Over the years I have changed this setting about 20 times and it keeps going back without asking me. Every time my mouse drops on the floor by accident it closes the window and all the apps running in the browser and Firefox insists! that the setting be off at all times. Is there a way to stop the browser from reverting this setting? I have been using and recommending firefox all my life i am changing this setting for the last time and if i have to do it again I am changing browsers and advising everyone i know to do the same.
