Why did you choose to waste desktop space with so much white space between Bookmarks? I use Firefox because the bookmarks can be arranged on the left pane and I can quickly access hundreds of frequently visited web sites without having to use the scroll bar.

I have been designing user interfaces for over 25 years and cannot understand the reason for this. It is not any easier to read and much less productive and more time consuming. To be as productive as I was with the older versions, I need twice as much vertical space. The Bookmark setup was the biggest advantage to Firefox and why we were using it.

I am also extremely disappointed that you did away with the colors for folders. The empty white outline makes it more difficult to read. If the Folders were colored and the white space was eliminated, we could fit twice as many bookmarks and with much improved readability.

It is not cool or fancy or trendy - it is much worse than the older interface.

Whenever I try and use any google website I get the PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. Occasionally the pages load up properly but 95% of the time "PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR" will occur. This is getting frustrating as other webpages are loading normally e.g. duckduckgo, amazon. As I use google primarily for browsing and work this is making firefox unusable for me at the moment. I have temporarily switch to Edge which also seems to work fine.

something is wrong with this browser. I can instantly watch any video on youtube in operas, but in firefox i keep getting this annoying error. I have put effort into it to try to fix it, i've downloaded every flash and ffmpeg plugin i could find and nothing works.

i don't mean to be annoying but i keep running into problems with this browser and i don't want to just give up and use opera. why do so many things need fixing? i'm definitely not used to this.

When I enter a Youtube URL on my MacBook Air's Firefox, the browser defaults to https://cinemaphile.com.

I don't know this company and don't know why Firefox defaults to it or how I, a layman, can fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

I have been observing an issue since a month that- a few YouTube videos are not being played when it is opened in Firefox, whereas the same videos are working fine in other browsers. The videos are getting loaded by the time, and the captions are also visible but no picture is visible and no sound. First I thought, may be it's an issue of the AdBlocker (uBlock Origin) that is enabled in my browser, so I disabled it and tried again, but still the same problem.

I would just like to ask for support regarding an error I recieve when I try to do video call on facebook over your browser. I have attached a copy of the error.

I have restarted both firefox and my laptop as well as ensured the camera and microphone are allowed for facebook but the error still persists.

This does not happen with the other browsers btw.

Hoping for a response on the matter.

Yesterday for most of the day Yahoo mail was working fine. Last night I was able to pull up my emails, but all the controls were not working, Can't delete, arrow up or down, settings won't come up. It's like all the tabs are not highlighted to click on. I haven't done any updates, nothing changed. It's not Yahoo, works fine in Chrome.

I just re-installed & reverted back to Windows 10 on my laptop & Firefox will not sync.

Comments/recommendations/solution ?

Hi, There is very little help if you can still log in in FB and Twitter but you lost all your feed and messages. It happened after refreshing FF. Switched both profiles in about:profiles. Logged out and in in both. All there is left is, check if Java script is enabled. Pretty desperate, but I'll try. So I am looking for my web content. According to this, I have to look for "list all tabs" under the "carrot icon". I can't find it.

Hey! My firefox crashed and I had to uninstall and reinstall it. However, when I signed back in the new browser with the account I created in 2020, it did not transfer my bookmarks and extensions. Can you please help me? I am freaking out a bit because it is so important that i get those back. I would REALLY appreciate it!

when taking part in a VA video conference, I could get pictures but no sound. (other browsers - edge & chrome- gave me only sound and pictures). I get sound from videos, You Tube, Netflix, etc., but nothing when on the VA video conferencing site. I am using Windows 10 on an HP desktop computer. I even turned off my virus protection to make sure it was not interfering (suggested by VA video conferencing help contact) but that did not help either. Since VA is going to a lot of video conferencing this is creating a real problem. (Checking the settings for the webcam (Logi pro scan) all showed that it was functioning properly. Sound comes in on all other sites using Fire Fox.

I've only been having it issue since upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04. Firefox (103.0.2) will lock up (not the pc, it will keep working in other apps). It doesn't seem to matter about the number of tabs open, or what sites I'm accessing. It 'seems' random, and closing Firefox and reopening it seems to work for a short while before locking up again. I'm not a tech guru so I don't know exactly what to include here, like logs, or other info. The other issue associated with this issue is, when it locks, and I restart, Firefox does not start the first time I click on it. I have to click on it again and when I do, it will start, but usually (not every time) I get an error message along with the open home page of Firefox. I have to press the (not sure what to call it) windows key and switch to the error to close it. In the past, I've always had a great experience with Firefox, but this is starting to really be annoying! Especially when I have four of five tabs open and have to do a restart. Firefox doesn't seem to realize it's had a problem so the option to re-open tabs with a restart doesn't happen. So I have to use history, which can be troublesome and confusing, to get back to the pages I was reading. I only open multiple tabs most often when I'm researching an issue and want to 'order' the tabs so I read the ones that look like they apply the most to my research topic. So it really is an annoying issue. So much so, that I have been looking to switch browsers. But I really do not like the large commercial entities not to name names, but I may have to suck it up and install the Big G's browser, the Big C! )^: (note: if you respond requesting additional information, please be kind and offer how to obtain the info!
