I just updated Firefox and privacy settings have changed. For the worse, seemingly.

Under Options for Privacy and Security there is a setting for "Send web sites a 'Do Not Track' signal". And, I am given only two choices: 1) Always 2) Only when Firefox is set to block known trackers.

I want a third option. "NEVER." These requests are optional; they are widely ignored; and they are -- in fact -- just another data point that is collected. "Never" has always been an option in Firefox. Why is it missing now?

Is there a setting in about:config I can change to ensure that "Do Not Track" is never sent?

We use a UPS thermal label printer. If Firefox printints to that printer it works, but if any other printer is later selected, Firefox sends the job to the new printer but the paper format stays as the same as the label printer.

The proper paper sizes are set in the printer properties but Firefox seems to ignore them. No other browser software has this issue. Yes, I've reset the printer settings a number of times, the printers all work until another label is printed, then Firefox is again stuck on that label format.

This is has been an issue with previous releases of Firefox, and it continues even with the latest release. Regrettably, if I need to print labels, Firefox is not used because of the need to reset all the printer settings afterwards. I like Firefox, but with this annoying problem, it will not be used often.

Any suggestions other then to continue to reset the printer's settings?

How to launch firefox automatically in LOW PRIORITY? Before, it was not complicated with a single optimized process. But for a year now, Firefox has been configured in relation to Gaming PCs with 8-16GB of RAM, 4K video and Games which uses PNG of 4MB in animation. It is almost a luxury to be able to use several software at the same time (photoshop, windows, firefox ...). And I'm not talking about all the crap associated with protecting flouted data.

NOTA: Your single process option does not work: it already generates 6 which are not optimized. When you delete the biggest one, all the others close. So I don't see the point of this configuration.

I would like to stream games using FF 64 bit v. 78.0.2, but cannot because, according to NBCsports.com's error message, "Recent versions of Firefox do not support Adobe Flash with authenticated video streams. Please use an alternative browser."

Has anyone encountered this error before? Any workarounds?

subject line says it all..although i can add the "old firefox data" folder on my desktop contains a blank default profile from 2017.

btw, this is exactly the kind of thing that makes my company drop software.

Hi, I’m looking for a solution to the problem in the browser Firefox 78.0.2 (64-bit), OS Windows 7 SP1 x64: I installed the SaveFrom addon to download the video, this application registered its home page and blocked the ability to change settings when the browser starts. An inscription appeared in the browser settings: “Your organization controls this browser” - but the computer is home! SaveFrom seized control of the browser! In the last few weeks Firefox 77.0.1 opens links just by moving the mouse pointer over them sometimes. Normally you would click or right-click to open in a new tab but often I am having links just open of on their own. I was on the phone with a vendor navigating their site when I kept ending up on a different page. Did something change with this version? The vendor also said they have been having issues with Firefox the last week or so. Using Windows 7sp1 32bit. Thanks

The right URL is: https://domain.com/xxx/yyy/index.php The access to this directory is protected by htaccess

The right reaction of Firefox should be: "Access to /homepages/5/d44545400/htdocs/domain-com/xxx/yyy/"

This works in the past without any problems.

But now Firefox do the following thing: "Access to /homepages/5/d44545400/htdocs/domain-com//"

This is the wrong directory (xxx/yyy is missing).

The reason of this mistake from Firefox is my mistake.

I typed a wrong URL like https://domain.com//index.php

And now Firefox use always the wrong version with //

I have no chance to realize my login.

For a while now I have noticed that some of the text sizes are messed up in eBay listings.

I thought eBay had been messing around with things again and left it at that, hoping it would come right.

It hasn't and with some further digging, it's Firefox that is not displaying the fonts correctly.

Check out the two images where title is supposed to be 24 and the sub-heading 18.

Internet Explorer displays them correctly, but Firefox displays them both as size 24.

The same thing happens with size 12 and 14 too!

I've used Firefox forever and never noticed this happen until recently.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I need to use a german authority website in context with firefox (68.10.0esr) to transfer data to the authority. After putting in the data and choosing a ZIP file for upload, a app (java) should open. This is a governikus secure software to confirm my identity by using a card reader and a trustworthy ID card. But the java app doesn't start. I use java 8.251. I have removed all popup blockers. The versions I use are recomended by governikus. I tried this with the microsft IE11 as well, doesn't work ... Could the problem be java sript? I have to activate it but I don't know if it is activated and I don't know how to activate

I need to browse this website https://www.pnrstatus.io/ multiple times for checking my trains' PNR status live. Till yesterday, it was working fine. Yesterday I updated my Mozilla Firefox browser to the latest version 78.02 (64-bit) and now whenever I'm trying to browse the website, my browser is freezing or unstable and it restarts itself.

Can anyone please suggest? Is it an issue with this particular website or my browser has corrupted?
