I use Firefox version 103, the old version that is perfectly compatible with an extension I always use. I love this old version, and I don't want to update it to the new version. But the update reminder pops up many times everyday. it's so annoying. I used "about config" to turn it off (see photo 2); it works a bit, but the popup still there once daily after the configuration. I want to turn it off permanently. Is there any way to do it? Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. Hello, when initiating a request for conditional mediation with webauthn I get the following error:

TypeError: 'conditional' (value of mediation) is not a valid value for enumeration CredentialMediationRequirement.

However when asking whether it's available with `await window.PublicKeyCredential.isConditionalMediationAvailable()` it does return true. Is this a bug?

Is there a way I can disable the "Pop out this video" button on the video player itself but keep the toggle present in the url bar? I have attached the pictures of what I am talking about I don't like the pop out button appearing on the video everytime I try to use my mouse around the video player but like the option of picture in picture seems like a good option for me.

Currently if I try to disable the button from the menu after right-clicking, it also disable the button present in the url bar.

My Windows Task Scheduler contains an entry called "Firefox Default Browser Agent". If I delete it, it returns. If I disable it, it re-enables itself. Can't be modified either. How do I turn it off permanently?

I already have telemetry and automatic updates both turned off.

In about:config default-browser-agent.enabled is set to false

everytime you update firefox, i loose my personal toolbar that took me a long time to set up. how do i get it back without all the work? also, what happened to the printer icon in the main toolbar?

I have reinstalled fresh firefox for like the 5th time now. It continues to not load web site pages completely. One other example, I log in to yahoo mail the page loads. I then click on the mail icon to go to the mail and NOTHING happens.

This is getting old. It only happens with firefox and not MS Edge.

In the Microsoft Store there are all these updates for video extensions like "AV1 Video Extension". Should I be doing these updates? Do they make any difference to streaming video on the Firefox Browser?

How do I get Firefox to stop suggesting my email address, city, state or other information on lines for logins or applications? I have turned off all the autofill selections in security and privacy and it still offers suggestions. I don't want any suggestions AT ALL.

When I visit the webpages of the Swiss Federal Post Service

then the scroll bar will not be displayed even though the page is longer than what can be displayed on my screen. As soon as I return to another URL the scroll bar is visible again when needed.

Does anybody know what I can have a scroll bar also for this webpage?

Everytime I have to close my pc with updates or if I just close/ restart it or if it crashed and I have to restart everything, all my most recent tabs (when I do restore last session) are gone but I get all the tabs back from weeks or even months ago. It's very annoying especially I do research and study. I really don't understand. It's like going back in time every time it starts again  :( What is happening ?

All downloads "fail" using Firefox. I have tried many things. Some on the internet says the fix is difficult. Other browsers have no issues with downloads. I go to them when I need to download something. I like Firefox, but if I can't resolve this issue, I may have to go to another browser. Help.

For the last few days the ebay website is very slow when I open it. If I switch to Chrome, ebay's website loads okay. All other websites seem to load through Firefox with no problem. Any ideas???
