Hello. I am setting up a site on Linux server using Apache as reverse proxy , with ASP.NET as application server . since installing SSL , I had few mixed content blocking that i was managed to fix using CSP directive in Apache configuration file. site has no issue with all browser except Firefox. the only issue is that in admin section , to configure a option. system will load a js file that simply a dropdown with list of options to choose from . when using Firefox , it tries to redirect that page to login page . for test , i clicked on the link i located in Developer tools , which directed me to login page , entered my credentials, and scripts loads showing the drop down box and ok button. is been 3 weeks i been looking for every solution and i have done everything .. but nothing have worked. now I am resort to having to use other browsers if i need to use that functionality in admin page. In page header file name : login , location : http://MYDOMAIN.ca/login?ReturnUrl=%2FAdmin%2FDiscountRulesCustomerRoles%2FConfigure%3FdiscountId%3D6%26_%3D1702682353293 , which are not correct . and browser such as Brave and Safari dose not show different path and file name and everything is correct. dose anyone know how to fix this .. ? i saw a solution mentioned as stated resting Firefox ,but can not find a way to reset , but i have reinstalled Firefox and constantly having this issue on this single section of the page . My Grandson loaded some type of coupon app and every time I log into some type of store etc. I get this coupon discount, he said it was on Mozilla Firefox. I want to delete it but I can't find it, can you help?

I'm using firefox 97 on mac. Whenever I copy and paste an image from firefox, the image comes out desaturated as if it is using the wrong color profile. I tried changing the gfx.color_management settings without it improving. The images look fine and are the right colors in the browser, however, the issue only happens when I copy and paste images. Firefox behaves like the color management is disabled (set to 0 in config) but ONLY when copying and pasting images.

I do not have this issue with other browsers such as chrome.

I want Protonmail as my default mail for Firefox. Windows 11 allows me to install Protonmail as an application. I cannot find or use that application in order to use my Protonmail email as my 'mailto' option in Firefox. Why does Firefox not allow this? Why can't Firefox find and suggest the Windows 11 Protonmail app in its list of suggestions under 'mailto' options?

I tried going online this morning and was met with an update screen. When I tried to go to any site I was met with a blue dot going back and forth and no other response. It didn't matter which site I tried, it wouldn't connect with any of them. Thinking it might be a problem with my isp, I tried through Edge and was able to connect with the sites. I did try reloading Foxfire and restarting my computer, bur neither seemed to have any effect. And yet I'm able to connect to Mozilla, go figure.

I download some documents and save them on my hard drive. When I open them, it opens Firefox instead of opening Acrobat reader. I need to be able to work offline with them in Adobe - I do not want the HTML version. This has only started happening recently. If this can't be solved I will have to try another browser. I am a reasonably savvy user but I am not a technical expert. Thanks for any help going - I am desperate. They all seem to have saved themselves as HTML documents. Any ideas?

The last three times Firefox has displayed that popup in the upper-right corner of the screen inviting me to select "update now," with the assurance that all open tabs will be restored after the update, nothing has been restored except my home page once Firefox restarts.

If Firefox does not intend to restore tabs, why on earth would it say it is going to do it? This is about as user-unfriendly a move as they could ever do, short of blowing up the computer entirely. A fix for this would be nice to have, but more to the point, why is a fix even necessary when Firefox positively states that all open tabs will be restored?

I understand that nothing human is perfect, but errors are one thing, and persistent failure to do something straightforward that is promised is another thing. What's going wrong here, and if Firefox is going to persist in this unfortunate behavior, what can be done about it?

I have just upgraded my pc, new motherboard, cpu, ram and m.2 drive, of which I made a clone of my previous windows installation, on first opening it had the previous session, where i had opened another tab while it had the restore session tab open, this usually isn't a problem.

However it lost the session to restore, I have tried a complete copy from %APPDATA%/Roaming/Mozilla over to the new system, but to no avail, the session can still be restored on the other setup currently, which I had copied over manually to try resolve.

I even tried to copy the files 1 by one to test from sessionstore-backups and renaming to sessionstore.jsonlz4, however upon opening firefox, it rewrites the 9.5MB file with a 2KB file and I have no session to restore.

Is there a way I can resolve this as I don't remember all the tabs, I do need to go through them, but several I had open to return to.

Any help would be appreciated so I can get these back and go through them, would be easier than trying to copy all the URL's one by one to check them

I had a Firefox account on my phone. I got hacked. So I uninstalled the Firefox app. I got the upgrade for Lookout and added that to my phone. I opened a new Firefox browser on my PC because I was tired of Google and I don't like Bing. I think you are still using my phone account. dawniegirl1973. lt has never been a primary or secondary email for phone or Pc. But you caught the last hacker! I would like an upgrade with Firefox on both PC and phone if I wouldn't have to pay for both devices. Would that cover both PC and phone? They are not linked, but they do share 2 emails and passwords. I also would like VPN, if that would secure my wifi. But I need a network that I can use for all my internet needs. I don't know what all VPN does. Please help me out. I don't know what to do anymore. It's all gotten so confusing. I'm tired of being hacked. Please advice. I trust, you, Firefox and I want you on both devices can we do this?

Even with password and verification code, I cannot access my account on the mobile phone. After entering the code is remains endlessly "working". The computer is not working now so I cannot "sync".

I am encountering an issue where I am unable to update from within my browser (Help->About). I have confirmed that the policies.json ("C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution\policies.json") has "DisableAppUpdate": false, to ensure I am not blocking myself. As of now if I try to update it gives me a prompt saying: "Updates avaliable at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new" Is I give myself administrator access then I get normal behavior and the browser begins updating automatically.

The odd thing is if I modify the permissions on C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox directory to allow normal users the ability to write/modify its contents then the Normal User Account is then able to update the browser as desired. The obviously solution is to just modify the permission and allow Normal Users to update. But I am hoping you have a better solution that more precise because I am concerned of the security impact of opening the directory to all users.

Is there a specific file/sub directory I can give them access to that accomplishes the same thing or is there a setting I need to change on the installer that would fix this.

I have a locked file that shows up as Invalid Symlinks error. I am not sure but I think it may be Profile.ini Here is what I am getting that tells me its a Non-Existent Destination file. My question is why is it Invalid symlink and what can I do to fix it? Thought I should bring it to your attention. My default browser is Firefox and I use Earthlink as my email. Earthlink just informed me that Firefox no longer supports Earthlink. They have asked me to switch to Google Chrome where my email works fine. If you need to contact me , my phone is [phone# removed from public] and my name is Ken Westlund. I asked such a question the day before yesterday, but none answered me I still use window 7 32 bit and I never want to update The new version ( V 98.01 ) is not compatible with Window 7 A black screen is shown just I open the Firefox browser I thought it is virus, but it is not so. Now I am sure of the problem I uninstalled the new version and changed for an old version ( V 80.01 ) and the black screen is never shown The black screen which I complain about= crashing of the browser because it is not covenant to Window 7

2- I changed the update to  (   Check for updates but let you choose to install them )  and the problem is ended but a message about updating still appears in the right corner  need me close each time. 

How can I get rid finally from update message in the toolbar ? In V 80.01 there is no choice ( never check for update )

Hi,

I recently migrated from Chrome to Firefox for a variety of reasons. I would like to continue using Firefox. However, everytime I close out of it and then reopen it I am forced to log back into every site. Firefox does not hold my passwords and does not keep me logged in like Chrome does.

Is there a way for me to correct this? Otherwise I need to go back to using Chrome.
