There is "show in folder" menu for file in downloads. And it will launch my file manager at the parent folder for the selected download file.

There are so many files in my downloads folder, so i would like the specific file to be autoselected. My file manager support this if i pass the filename as parameter in the commandline.

However, seems that firefox only pass the parent folder path to my file manager in the "show in folder". However can i customize firefox so that it will pass the full file name to my file manager when i click "show in folder", and my file manager will open the parent folder with the specific file autoselected.

I lost suddenly some pints in my explorer. I did not delete them. It had happened at: BENUTZER - Matthaeus Deffner There I have had saved some files "LEBENSLAUF" They are lost now. Can yo help to get again?

I am using Mozilla Firefox for accessing google map from Excel macro.

My Excel-VBA Macro goes like this:

but since i changed my pc, i witness following error: On clicking this macro, I can see firefox shows expected link in address bar. But after 2-3 second it brings me back to my home location. Please guide me in this regard

Quando eu mudo a página do Firefox, através de um programa externo, e depois tento voltar para a página anterior, a página aparece na tela, mas fica completamente INATIVA, e a barra de endereços também não muda para a minha página anterior. É um problema GRAVÍSSIMO que só acontece com o Firefox. Várias das suas sugestões já foram posta em prática, incluindo-se a reinstalação, mas, sem sucesso. Como faço para resolver?

Some time ago, I used my personal email address as a secondary email on another Firefox account, and I no longer have access to the primary email for that account.

I would now like to use my personal email as a primary email on a new account, but when I try to create the account, it says "This email was already confirmed by another user".

How can I get my personal email address "un-associated" from the old primary email-address when I can't even remember what that email address was, let alone access it?

I don't have any saved info that I care about so I would be happy to have all records "lost" in order to cancel any mozilla/firefox account, either primary or secondary, associated with my personal email address.

This purple capsule icon appears in the upper left-hand corner of my Firefox browser when I share a tab using Zoom or Google meet. It does not go away when I stop sharing my screen, or if I quit Zoom. If I'm using two displays, sometimes it sticks on one screen when I move my Firefox window and hovers over every window in any app. The only way I can make it disappear is to quit and restart Firefox, which isn't practical. I can't find any setting in the Mac Control Panel or in Firefox to turn this off (Reddit is split on if this is a Firefox problem or a MacOS problem).

During of build process we have an error related to auto deduction before 'auto' in dom/bindings/TypedArray.h

For example the call ProcessTypedArrays() at line 128 in file ChromeUtils.cpp give the error.

Is there a way to rename things in the Passwords list? I'm not concerned about MY password or sign-in, but what appears in the list. A name such as "login.live.com" tells me nothing about what site that sign-in will take me to. I'd like to be able to rename it with something that gives me a hint.

I have a fairly long list of saved logins, and visually scan the list at times to get to a supplier or service I need.

I'm using a desktop, Windows 10.

Since about two days ago firefox on both my PC and laptop has been trying to connect to a random website called ponf.linkedin.com that I have no idea where it came out of.

I have no clue why this was but I reset both browsers on both devices + reinstalled windows 11 on my main PC and it only continues happening on my PC now, i've managed to replicate the behaviour by resetting the browser and everytime that happens firefox attempts to connect to this website even though bitdefender blocks it and nothing comes up, no popup or anything as if its just in the shadows.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be and what I should do? any help is appreciated thanks.

My Firefox browser is broken, I can open Firefox but I can not do anything it will not respond, clicking anywhere prompts a "Firefox is not responding" error message, I was able to "refresh" Firefox once with zero results, I have tried uninstalling Firefox yet it will not uninstall the uninstallation window comes up yet no matter how long it sits open nothing happens, I have tried reinstalling Firefox with no results, the installation freezes just before completing and says "Firefox could not be installed". I have been using Firefox as my primary browser for a long time but I am unable to use it in any way now. All other browsers are working fine no issues but I do prefer Firefox and would like to continue to do so. What do you suggest?

Can someone please tell me how to answer questions asked, in emails to me, receoved from support helpers. In ~6 emails received so far, my only response option looks like clicking the "Mark It as Solved" button...I can't see how to answer, for example, that I'm using Debian Buster, with KDE. Also, jonzn4SUSE asked me to "see screenshot" of his SUSE distribution, but I can't see that image, nor a file attachment. Thanks again.

I have had this spam pop up 2 times when I was on Facebook through Firefox through DuckDuckGo. Could someone confirm that this is spam and how to fix it? Also, I would like to report it to Firefox and I can't find how to do that either. Thank you

I can't print an email. The whole screen prints and is too small to read.

I read previous answers to use the drop down menu and select print, but then I get window that says I have a blocking the print. I don't have an active blocker. I do have malwarebytes. Never had any trouble printing on chrome or safari.

I am encountering a repeated problem making online reservations in another country through Firefox, in which I select the correct date in the displayed calendar, submit the reservation request, and then receive a confirmation for the day following the one I requested. It has now occurred multiple times in the last few months, involving reservations made at hotels, restaurants, and libraries through a variety of platforms (third-party consolidators, directly through the business's own site, etc). I thought at first it might have to do with the time zones--I made the first batch of reservations in the evening US time when it was already the following day in Europe, but it is now happening with reservations made at a time when the dates match. When I contact the businesses, they see no sign of error on their end. I feel like I am losing my mind.
