I've been using Firefox since Netscape ended and i always enjoyed it. Unfortunately the Firefox 72 is utterly hideous. It is the worst and most unstable browser i ever tested -- it's extremely slow, it doesn't even work with hardware acceleration, it's not compatible with most sites i access and it crashes a lot. Anyway I already reinstalled the version 71, which continues to work flawless and I don't plan to ever use auto updates again. The problem is that every single day Firefox tries to update to the horrible 72 version, and every day I have reject it manually.

I'm looking for a way to permanently block future Firefox updates, without asking me for it again. Any ideas?

How to print out my passwords in Firefox? I need to migrate user names and passwords for various web sites to a new computer

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1253828 does not seem to work because the caret (») is not visible in Firefox 72.0.2 (64-bit) that is on my machine. This is most annoying. Firefox and T'Bird are the most difficult software to migrate to new computers.

I need the export as a CVS. The other approaches either don't allow copy and paste or they are JSON and I have no clue how rto use that.

The other angle: logins.json (passwords) and key4.db (58+) for Passwords saved in the Password Manager I don't see a way to get that into a spreadsheet.

It is particularly annoying because there is an import function but no export function. I have over 300 web site user names and passwords. Hours and hours of work to just copy one at a time.

I cannot access Mozilla via Firefox - issue arose when trying to access add-ons yesterday (25 Jan 2020). Firefox displays the following: "Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to addons.mozilla.org. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem."

In order to post this, I have had to access the site via Chromium, which also noted a secure connection error. I have used a VPN add-on to secure the connection and access the site.

I assume this is an issue on the Mozilla server with an expired certificate?

Win 10/FF I reinstalled FF after automatically downloading 73.0 and I had a terrible day on computer yesterday. SLOW. It was fine today, for some reason, so there are no issues I can detect. Because I have an old laptop, should I download the 32-bit version? I spent a lot of time restoring FF, even though I thought everything would rollover. Can I do the change w/o reinstalling everything???

Thank you.

My wife & I have separate accounts in a fund, the web site is the same but the ID and passwords are different, I can make and save these in password manager but when I click on either one it only goes to the web site and doesn't fill in the data fields, associated with this, is also the issue of being able to ID which of the two logins in the list of available logins, belongs to which person ie how do I distinguish the web site data for a or b so as to make the job easier than manually logging in please? It'd be nice to be able to label these two logins in some way or use coloured text or similar?

The "badges" phenomenon is like a virus which seems to be spreading across web forums, infecting every forum I'm a member of.

I absolutely hate badges. They serve no point whatsoever other than appealing to arrogance and displays of pride, and they are extremely childish. I am NOT a child, I am an adult. What is with this phenomenon of 'baby adults' who want to bring 'play toys' into a serious discussion forum?

Is there any way to turn off/hide badges?

I only experienced this issue when upgrading to 74.0, but it happens on websites multiple sites now. I have also verified via other browsers that this is a specific Firefox issue.

I have tried all of the recommended solutions that I have been able to identify: removed AV extensions, created a new profile, reset proxy settings, cleared cache & cookies, refreshed Firefox, restarted in safe mode to attempt to access the websites, turned off VPN, etc.

Looking for additional recommendations or solutions.
