I have an old Firefox Mozilla account, but I can't recall the primary email associated with it. However, I do know that my current email is listed as a secondary email on that account. I would like to unlink my current email from that account. What steps should I take to do so? Thank you

On linux terminal the text should change color but how do I do that on firefox? By the way I have these settings for the caret ui.caretBlinkTime 0 ui.caretWidth 7 Not being able to see the character under the caret is problematic, would be nice if anyone knows what to do.

If I try to goto a new tab the new tab just blinks and never connects. Say I am in ebay and I see something and click on it. A new tab is made but it just clicks and nothing else.

I have When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" selected, but it doesn't go there when I do select a result from DuckDuckGo or Google. I need to right click my mouse and select "Open Link in new tab". How do I make this happen?

When I join a Google Hangout and try to share my entire screen, Firefox always prompts me whether to share a window or the entire screen. I always want to share the entire screen. But when I enable the checkbox for "Remember this decision" I get this warning: Firefox can not allow permanent access to your screen.

Why does this happen? Is it because I'm on a unbuntu or is it specific to ubuntu Catalina?

I would like to make a request to include "window id" and "tab id" in the cookie "onCookieChanged" -Event triggered dynamically.

At the present state it is not possible to identify where a cookie is originating from, only the "cookies.cookie" values, but no values for "Window" and "Tab Id" which would dramatically help to assign a cookie to a particular domain even if the "cookie.originURL" or "cookie.url" is different from the surfed on website.

As an example, you can visit "https://freenet.de" which loads different ad trackers - which cookies are displayed as "Cross Origin" in Flag Cookies. A screenshot is attached.

Hi there,

I'm using my PC for local web development. I use Firefox as my regular browser and recently, in order to distinguish between personal time and development time, I've established a new profile just for development purposes.

The local website I can't reach is "site.local.dev". My OS is Ubuntu 20.04 and that URL points to a local IP on my network (resolved via /etc/hosts file on my PC).

Funny thing is that: - In dev-profile: site.local.dev does not work => "Unable to connect" and the URL bar shows https://site.local.dev even if I force it to http:// - In personal-profile: site.local.dev does work :P

I have tried with CLI tools like "wget", "hosts", "ping", "telnet" and so on and the site loads ok. Even I have used Dillo (damn simple web browser) and the site loads ok also.

Things I've tried so far: - Suggestions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can - Suggestions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1011327 (similar issue, not exactly the same).

It must be a silly thing but I'm out of options now. Perhaps anybody has faced to this situation in the past: any suggestion on this issue?.

Raspberry Pi B+ v2 latest OS and upgrades

Trying to install Firefox. sudo apt-get install firefox appears to work with Firefox appearing in applications list. But click on it, get busy indicator for ~10 sec, then nothing. Rpi reverts to normal idle screen awaiting input.

If I try to install again get message that already have latest verson 91.10.0esr-1-deb11u1+rpi

I have deleted my bookmarks with the Bookmark manager, but where are they now? I cannot find them in /trash and all of the *bookmark* files on my laptop are miniscule (like 127 bytes.) The json files are no better, when I imported previous bookmark files they were empty.

Since I've upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 "Firefox" randomly started closing it's self without any crash report what so ever.

I've read some article on Ubuntu forums but I couldn't find any helpful information (Or they didn't work for me)

Please anyone help! I've been using Firefox all the time and has never crashed until the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04

Hi, I'm having some issue with the syncing of bookmarks. Some changes in bookmarks in one device (desktop) don't synchronize properly to others devices (desktop also). I have lost many bookmarks, names changed that don't change, disappearing of complete folders, etc. This are the last three error-sync-number.txt files I have on about:sync-log of an affected device, hope someone notices something relevant that could help me solve this horrible problem. I have a locked file that shows up as Invalid Symlinks error. I am not sure but I think it may be Profile.ini Here is what I am getting that tells me its a Non-Existent Destination file. My question is why is it Invalid symlink and what can I do to fix it? I updated the operative system on my laptop but, when I opened Firefox and signed into my profile, it didn't import my old bookmarks, only the browsing history. Passwords and other data are all there, only the bookmarks are gone.

Is there a way to get them back?
