zzxc: Firefox won't open sites as usual. Comes up with other stuff. I have a picture.
Creating a new profile did not solve my problem, it stayed the same. Whats the next step?

My software allows a user to open Attachments. I get a box with the title "Opening message1.txt" which also has an "Open with" radio button. I then click the OK button and my attachment is displayed. However, I also get a second box with the title "Downloads." How do change the Firefox Options to not get the Downloads box?

Sometimes when I close Firefox and try to open it in few moments it shows me message "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." However, I haven't opened any additional Firefox related programs, and previous Firefox is closed. First I though it is because of my computer, but then I discovered that other people have the same problem as well

I recently upgraded to Firefox 3.6 from 3.0 and noticed that the dropdown menu of the location bar behaves differently. Previously bookmarks in this list showed the star marker and had a different background color (the later was by a modification in the usercss). In Firefox 3.6 both of them are only visible while typing a new URL and suggestions are shown. If I just open the dropdown menu all entries look the same. Can the old behaviour be restored?

I've got a situation that is more of an annoyance than an actual problem, but I was wondering if this happens to other people as well. I'm running Win 7. Whenever I go to save a file, instead of leaving the location selection area on the left scrolled to the top, Firefox opens it scrolled down to where 'My Computer' shows, causing me to have to scroll up every time I want to save to the top folders of my 'Favorites.' Anyone else notice this? I realize this is a tiny annoyance, but it would be very nice if this wouldn't happen in future builds ...

When I go to start Firefox I double-click the icon and it says 'Windows cannot find X:/lib/deploy/jqs/ff/../../../../bin/jqsnotify.exe' with X being the letter of the hard drive. Also as a quick side note: whenever I try to use a web page that uses java (ej: RuneScape) Firefox will automatically crash without warning. I would be grateful to receive an answer to both of these questions. Thanks, Daniel P.S. I noticed that I am asked to 'Enter the text from the Tools > Addons > Extensions panel' and when I click on 'Add-ons' Firefox will crash.
