Please "forward" this to the Firefox development team for consideration!
Proposing the dialog box text should become:
"Firefox is designed by Mozilla, a global community of contributors and developers, all working together to keep the Web open, public, and accessible to all."
The added comma after "public" above, is referred to as an "Oxford comma" (see Rule #1 at http://www.grammarbook.com/punctuation/commas.asp ). It should be used because this section is a three-part adjectival series with "open," "public," and "accessible" each referring back to how "the Web" should be kept for us all!
As with Boolean ANDing, using "public and accessible" without a comma after "public," binds them together to tightly for a three part series of adjectives!
This support webpage cannot upload a screenshot for some reason, but you all know how to see the about dialog in Firefox for yourselves! Someone should please also add what types of images work best for uploading screenshots next to "Add Images:" on this submission webpage too.
Thanks!

I have tried all suggestions in articles relating to 'links in Thunderbird not opening in Firefox.' None of them work. The Thunderbird community said it was a problem with a setting in Firefox, that is, how Firefox handles Thunderbird.
The issue is, one link will usually open if it is the first time I click a link in Thunderbird. After that I cannot open any links to Firefox, and each click on a link in Thunderbird (including the first one) produces an additional firefox.exe in Task Manager (see image). Each of these Firefox iterations are generally 49,000+K. They do not seem to interfere with Firefox's operation.
I also cannot right click to 'open link in browser.' Only copying link location and pasting it into the browser is working for me. this has been fairly recent with the last two upgrades to Thunderbird and the recent upgrades in Firefox.
I am running Win 7 Pro.
Any suggestions?
I don't know why my adobe crashed. Please fix.

It all started when I wanted to print a recipe for dinner from my laptop to our lexmark wireless printer. i was able to print it but it was faint b/c "low on black ink'" was the reason ... new ink cartridge was installed - but "low on black ink" popped up. So hubby put in new ink cartridge but "low on black ink" showed up again. he restarted/cleaned the printer. still same message. he called lexmark "customer service" and hubby followed their directions for 4 hours. then i was told to quit firefox - i had many pages open b/c of our home remodel project so that i could show our contractor what i wanted. i was in the final stages of putting links in a folder when i was told to quit firefox. how do i retrieve those links. there's no history to restore.
installed 3 firefox apps on my pc and when I tried to run them I got a screen with file / edit and NOTHING

It's frustrating that Firefox sync doesn't include toolbar customisation data. It's otherwise a great piece of functionality that means when installing Firefox I don't have to set anything up apart from remembering to rearrange the buttons to my preference. This also goes for whether the menu and bookmarks toolbar are displayed.

Win 7.1, FF 36.0 (just updated) All add-ons & javascript up to date.
A few weeks ago this problem began: I am not aware of any configuration changes or new software installation at that time. This problem began while the previous ver. of FF was installed, and continues with 36.0
It seems very consistent with the site: always on Amazon, for example - all I see is text - some of it links. Internal Amazon links lead to one after another text-only page. The page structure is recognizable. I have to use IE to do business there.
Adobe Flash Player Shockwave Flash 16.0.0.296 (stated by Mozilla to bee vulnerable (16.0 r0) won't update: message Flash Player Plugin between 11.0 and 11.7.700.169) blocked (Not 16+ !). Is there an alternative?
Control Panel > uninstall Programs indicates that Flash Player ActiveX and NPAPI & Shockwave player are present somewhere: don't know why. I often can't play video in news media - no indication why with R-click - ideas?
I watch NoScript (which I have had for years) carefully. I also have Trueblock+ installed (it does a good job).
I know there is a FF refresh function, but am loth to have everything set back to defaults, unless there is no other solution.
Any insights or fixes will be gratefully considered. Thanks!

The rotating colored icon, and a download number ((1) or (2)) appear, but no download actually takes place. The "No downloads for this session" appears under the download progress arrow.

When the PDF viewer opens it comes up with an error saying that the pop up blocker has prevented the page from showing but mail.google.com is listed in the allow list.

Most of the office use mozilla but we have just moved our database and office management to Sage CRM. In order to integrate the browser with CRM and transfer emails diary etc from CRM to outlook we have to use Internet explorer. Is there any good reason for this and is there a way round.
Many thanks

When I'm completing online training for my airline work, I get a warning from their site detecting that it is running firefox 36 instead of adobe flash and I can't proceed to launch the window which will work just fine outside of firefox. Is there a way I can disable firefox 36 so that it doesn't use the mozilla version but only uses adobe flash player to launch the app?

Hey
I'm trying out firefox and I've noticed that the awesome bar's autocomplete doesn't seem to be filling in anything passed the URL (i.e. the URI).
So for example if I had a site running on localhost:8080 and it had a uri /newsite if I tried to visit this site again by typing in localhost it only shows http://localhost/ and not http://localhost:8080/newsite.
Chrome does this fine so I'm wondering if something is misconfigured?
