Macbook Pro, Sonoma 14.1.2. I updated Firefox in the beginning of March. Since then it will not allow me to access site on the internet when I have ExpressVPN enabled. ExpressVPN works with Safari. I have spent over an hour working with a VPN tech. It's fine. The only change was updating Firefox. Since then I have removed and re-installed both Firefox and ExpressVPN. How do I resolve this?

My webite https://www.tanzaniabirds.net/alphabetical1.htm#gsc.tab=0 has an SSL certificate. The website shows as secure on Edge, Chrome and Safari but not on Firefox. The message on the Firefox secure symbol says parts of the page such as photos are not secure. This website is practically all photos taken by me and friends. What can be done to make it show as secure on Firefox? Thanks.

I am setting up a new mac computer (Mac book Air M3 with Sonoma 14.3). I have installed Video Download Helper. The icon appears in the Applications folder and the Dock, but not in the Firefox toolbar. How can I get the icon back? Many thanks.

At one site that I visit daily where multiple pictures sometimes can be scrolled horizontally, I can't scroll down or up with the keyboard. The Page Up/Down keys change their functions and scroll the pictures horizontally instead of making the page scroll up or down. I have to use up/down arrows until I reach a point where there are no multiple lateral pictures to get the expected function from the scroll keys. Is there a setting or other way to prevent horizontal scrolling using the Page Up/Down keys?

Since the last Firefox update I cannot access my banking web site. I access this site almost daily. It is Regions Online Banking. It will not accept my username either by copy and paste or by typing it in. By not accepting it I mean the login space remains blank. I disconnected from my VPN, no change. I was able to access the site normally using MS Edge.

I am running Windows 11, 64-bit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, its been a while now that I've noticed every version of FF doesn't work that well with Facebook. For example, I'm scrolling through posts and when I click on a picture to open the post, the mouse click area is miles out to close pop up windows etc. It only happens on some posts but a majority is this issue.

Anyone else has this problem? FB via Chrome works fine.

Reply to zeroknight. Disabling the extensions did the trick. I only have five extensions so I'll just go through them one at a time until I find the culprit.

Reply to zeroknight - 2. I use Bitwarden for my password manager. When I disabled it I was able to access Regions. All my other logins seem to be working OK. Maybe a Bitwarden update will fix the problem. Anyway, I know what the problem is now.

Hello, I try to install extensions but when I click on the jigsaw icon it doesn't display the menu where you can pin extension to the toolbar but it brings me to the extension repository where you can install extension. It is weird because before it works suddenly it doesn't anymore. I see this error in the console, don't know if related

In the appdata\roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xyz\storage\archives folder there are 2 folders, \0 and \default. They contain over 500MB between them and are not cleared out by removing all website data (it did clear out Storage/Default). Can the content of these 2 folders be deleted? The \0 folder contains 30 folders with dates for the folder name ranging from 2022-01-16 to 2023-10-26 for a total of 115 MB. The \default folder contains over 1000 folders dated from today back to 2017 for a total of 475 MB. The names of the folders in \default are variations of websites visited and pages I have saved elsewhere (https++++www.xyz.com and file++++c++doc+ etc.)

I tried searching "storage\archives" and came up blank, I hope no one else has answered this in some other thread. Thank you for any info.

I have been using Windows 10 with Firefox browser and Google/Gmail for many months. I also have been using Norton 360 and other Norton programs for many years. A few days ago, I updated Norton Utilities Ultimate and after update ran it for standard options. Before that update, I could start Google and still be signed in and start Gmail and still be signed in. Now, whenever I close Gmail or Google, I have to sign in whenever I start Google/Gmail. I tried to get help from Norton (see attached chat printout), but they said it was not a Norton problem and to contact Google. When I researched the problem with Google, it indicated that the problem was related to cookies but did not help correct it. I tried Firefox Help and could not find any useful information. I then changed to Google Chrome browser; that works and I can start and stop Google and Gmail and remain signed in. If I go back to Firefox, I still have to sign in every time I start Google. Hi I've no idea which section this should go.. I'm having an issue when a youtube channel im following sets a live. When I get the card on the desktop for the 30 min timer, I'll click it.. sometimes it will open in a new tab (usually the card just disappears), that's another problem.. Anyway.. If I switch to the new tab at the time the live should have started, it shows the counter reset to 30 minutes.. if I F5 the page it will load the live.. Is there a way to auto start the live when the counter hits zero?

When I scroll text for some reason, Firefox stopping scrolling very slow. It's almost take up to 2 seconds. Very annoying smoothest. I have stopped scrolling already but Firefox still scrolling and finally very slow stop it. I can't focus on the text because it's still slows down the scrolling.

How to fix that!?

Hello, I hope your day is going well! (^_^) I highly dislike quite a few of the settings on firefox, especially considering they're turned on by default. The setting I abhor is the experiment setting because mozilla is quite literally experimenting on myself and other users. You may have a different perspective on the matter but I find it disgusting that there's nothing overtly telling you that your instance of firefox is different than other peoples just so they can run experiments (technically, on YOU) but I digress. I noticed the experiment option was turned on after I thought I had turned it off. Since I turned it off, I've had to update firefox every time I start it. I happened to look at the settings and noticed that the experiment option was turned back on without my consent or knowledge. After turning it off again, firefox updated once again and guess what, the experiment setting was turned back on. Why is that and how can I prevent that from happening in the future because, again, that's a disgusting practice in my eyes.
