Firefox keeps asking me if I want to start it with windows. Again. And Again. AAAAAAND AGAIN.

How can I disable it? Seriously, Mozilla is really doing their best to scare me away... How could they think it's a good Idea to annoy their users over and over again?

Firefox uses 2.1gb of RAM with 6 tabs opened which is far more than it ussualy does and it sometimes just jumps to 2.5gb. ((Fore the Image) My task manager is in german so Arbeitsspeicher=RAM)

If i use the Windows 11 search (for "disk management windows 11"), windows opens a new empty firefox window (apart from my default homepage). I seem to have a problem with popups and links generally.

I have adblock/adblock plus and other add-ons, but I hvae disabled those and still get the same problem.

I exported bookmarks to an HTML file from Firefox on a Win10 computer. Copied the file over to a new Win11 computer and then imported the bookmarks to a new installation of Firefox.

The bookmarks show up in the "library" that displays when I click on "manage bookmarks" but they do not appear in the toolbar at the top of the page. I don't see any way to get them to show up.

Can you tell me what I need to do? Thanks.

I received an email suggesting that I update my Firefox or I would lose syncing function. I have two computers. A fairly new iMac Ventura 13.6.8 running Firefox 123.0 64 bit which it says is up to date. But I also have an older iMac OSX 10.11.6 El Capiten running Firefox 78.15.0 ESR. I can't update the OS or Firefox on the old computer. So if I do nothing - will I still be able to sync on the newer Mac. I'm not too worried about the old one - I don't use it much for browsing - more for documents. Thank you. David Rimell

My Firefox window with 15+ tabs just crashed. I watched a YouTube video and the solution offered doesn't work. How can I restore them? And does Firefox really not have a way to speak to a human being??

It's not a website breakage since I can use Edge. Since the last update Xcel Energy cannot be accessed with Firefox because of a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR.

Hi, I use windows hibernate a lot. One vulnerability of hibernate is that the contents of RAM get written to the hard drive in unencrypted form in a file called hiberfil.sys. This means that any encryption keys in RAM used to access encypted files will be written to hiberfil.sys and can be extracted if a malicious party has physical access to the drive.

Thus, the question:

Does Firefox store encryption keys, passwords, or log in details in RAM at any time while in use?

bold textMy issue is in Firefox I have 2 facebook account my personal one Cindy Betz Kuehl and my game account Cindy Kuehl Duc.  I deleted my cookies on Cindy Kuehl DUC and it deleted my facebook account for Cindy Kuehl  DUC.  I play games on this account and can't figure out how to get this account back.  I need your help please.

Had 2 windows open, one 5 tabs and the second window had 1300 tabs

The 1300 tab window session is lost.

Even searching history, most can not be found

What can be done?

Are there backup folders I presume or reading of a Json folder where session profiles are kept, if so how can I insert this folder for the primary session to restore lost session?

How do I display bookmarks in a column on my screen; has disappeared recently; menu option seems to have disappeared. Firefox v 123 on Windows 10

Hello. I have been using Firefox as primary browser for long time. Today reinstall my firefox because youtube video not playing sound. But after fresh install and synced account but all my savings are gone. Passwords and bookmarks are missing. PLease help me to recover.

Hi. I keep several Firefox tabs open and active on my laptop. Inevitably, Firefox slows down after a week or several weeks and would benefit from a Quit / Restart. But then (I think) I would lose my tabs, which would mean a trip to the library to login and get them back. If I do nothing, a superslow Firefox will usually mean my laptop eventually restarts on its own. Then when I open Firefox I see a "Restore Session" option, which brings everything back (I think I see Restore Session because the computer did its own shutdown). So, this does work, but I have a slow computer until the laptop does its own restart. I am wondering if I can initiate my own Firefox Quit / Restart which will give me the "Restore Session" option. Thanks!

Hello I am having trouble allowing access to Microsoft 365 i've tried looking in privacy and security settings but when I go to permisssions and look up the site for microsoft 365 nothing comes up. I just need to allow full access to microsoft so I can do my assignment.
