I do not care about MSNBC, I just want to know why I cannot live stream on MSNBC in case I run in to other channels that may not work I would like to solve the issue or I guess I can just uninstall Firefox and call it a day if it is just the browser.

The audio does work, but the video is the start up or splash photo for MSNBC

Firefox will stream on NBC and I can stream MSNBC using Chrome and Edge.

I resent all of the setting in Firefox to default, and I turned off all of the extensions.

Hi, I just upgraded to W11 yesterday and having a weird issue with firefox. I have "combined task bar buttons and hide labels" set to NEVER yet firefox has a weird issue that no other open program has. I have firefox pinned to my taskbar (image 1.) When I click it (image 2) it's supposed to expand into a full size tab but it stays as just an icon.

But when I right click and open taskbar settings, firefox remembers that I have combine task bar set to off and correctly expands into a full tab (image 3.) I'm not sure if this is a firefox issue or a general windows issue. Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

Firefox Can’t Open This Page To protect your security, server.nitrado.net will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.

I contacted Nitrado support after reading this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/xframe-neterror-page They say they have fixed the issue but it still present after reinstalling the widget, clearing cache (server and firefox app) and server restart, this is effecting all our uses who use firefox, which is all of them :( can anyone help?

Using Firefox to access TDeasyweb banking appears to work thought the login process, however accessing anything on the web site causes the web site to put me back to the login screen. I am running Ubuntu 22 on a desktop and a laptop with Firefox 121 64bit. I have contacted TD regarding this and the solution suggested was to use a difference browser or disable all the extensions and try again. Does anybody know a REAL fix for this? The problem seems to be fixed if the "delete Cookies" extension is disabled

Just recently, within the last two weeks (today is 12/22/23) Firefox it taking a long time to start. Firefox version is 121.0 (64 Bit) Windows 11 Home Ver: 22H2, OS Build 22621.2861 This is a reasonably new Acer Nitro PC (August 2023) with a solid state drive.

When I double click the Firefox Icon a large white box opens on my PC and remains that way for 10-15 seconds, then the white box fills-in with the Firefox screen. Once opened, Firefox works perfectly.

I tried the troubleshooter and Firefox starts instantly, as it did previously. I have no Extensions, Themes, or Plugins. I even disabled: OpenH264 Video Codec and Widevine Content Decryption Module. I tried Google and DuckDuck as the Search engine with no difference.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

I am already logged into my main account, when I click on my profile picture in the top right in order to add accounts/sign into other gmail accounts, I get this error:

"403. That’s an error.

We're sorry, but you do not have access to this page. That’s all we know."

I tried clearing cookies and no help.

Bare in mind this is on a fresh firefox install on a new desktop, I have been using firefox on my other desktop with no gmail issues like this.

I have an extension called Gesturefy that allows you to use mouse gestures to do things like navigate through tabs, perform searches, etc. The problem is that on Mozilla pages, these gestures are not allowed for security reasons, as the developer explains: "Gesturefy does not work on Mozilla related pages like addons.mozilla.org, internal pages like about:addons or other add-on option pages (e.g. moz-extension://*). This is because Firefox restricts add-ons from accessing these pages for security reasons."

Is it possible to disable these restrictions for this specific extension or in general?

Is there any way to rotate between different screen sizes option using shortcuts keymaps which appear during "responsive design mode" is on. I found extensions which resizes whole browser & they helps. but it also causes developer tool to resize along with browser which hinders me to see different css properties. so i am looking for a way to rotate only screens.

"Responsive Design mode" is what turns on when we press ctrl+shift+m.

Since about 13:00 GMT yesterday, Firefox could not load or display the Hostinger h-panel. It sometimes partially and sometimes completely displays all the page content. But all the controls are dead. Firefox seems to be very busy doing something. I told Hostinger and they spent some time looking into the problem. They got Firefox to load the h-panel but said that it was vastly slower than other browsers in doing so. With me, Firefox still stops doing anything once the content is loaded and ALL controls on the page are still dead. When closing Firefox in this state, there is considerable delay before the window actually closes.

I thought that perhaps Hostinger had done an update that called in some proprietary JavaScript extensions that Firefox couldn't handle. I get the impression that in trying to display the h-panel pages, Firefox is trying to acquire some content from an external site, as requested somewhere within the HTML/JavaScript source code.

Hi. The annual NORAD Santa Tracker website does not function properly under Firefox. While there are no issues with the 3D rendering itself, the 3D map is squished vertically toward the left side of the page. It appears to be defaulting to a mobile browser view. The only extension I have installed is uBlock Origin, and I turned it off for the NORAD Santa website, and the display issue persists.

Opening the site under Safari shows the Santa tracker taking up the entire browser window as it should do.

I'm currently on Mac OS Sonoma using the latest version of Firefox 121.0

Steps to reproduce:

1. Have Google as the default search engine.

2. Type a search string into the address bar.

3. The address bar briefly shows a URL for the Google Search results.

4. The address bar is very quickly overwritten with the original search string.

See screenshot for example.

How do I stop step #4 happening? I want the URL to remain in the address bar, for example to be able to give somebody a link which executes the google search.

I think this is new in FF121.

OS: Linux Mint 21 Browser: Firefox 121.0

There are a few sites I frequently use that popup windows that can't be blocked or moved out of its lower right position. It most cases it blocks important text due to the screen/font scaling I have to use.

My browser privacy settings are set to "Strict".

Autoplay setting is: "Default for all websites: = Block all Websites"

The popup window banner reads "Trending Videos". No video or audio plays and the window is black with the error msg: Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 104153)

There is an "X" button on the right hand side of the banner that does go into focus when I hover the cursor over it, but clicking on it does nothing.

I have tried various popup blocking addons but so far none have been able to stop these popup windows.

Suggestions please!
