I have a 2nd laptop that I need to sync for my passwords and bookmarks, everytime I try to sync it says incorrect password, when I know it's correct. then locks me out after a few attempts but it works fine on the main laptop! Please, I need help! thank you

I've the same problem as https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1317794#question-reply but after following the steps for the solution, it doesn't work for me. Does it have to do with all updates since this question was answered? I've created the chrome folder. I've created userChrome.css file and added the following without "`" marks in it and saved it and restarted firefox after changing the toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets = true . ```

All New York Times Cooking recipes printed from Firefox 109.0 print with the error noted above (The "end of recipe bar" and "Private Note" heading, which usually print at the end of the recipe, over-print wrapped text at the top of the second page of the recipe obscuring underlying wrapped text.). This error had appeared occasionally in the past, but now is consistently present. I have refreshed my up to date version of Firefox and cleared old print settings. The error shows up on printing to two separate printers and it shows up when printing from a desk top and a lap top computer with synced Firefox, and from a separate lap top with Firefox that is not synced. The error DOES NOT show up on printing with either Chrome or Edge browsers.

NY Times Cooking customer Service has not received inquires about this error and suggested the error lay in a settings issue.

Have others reported this error?

All suggestions will be appreciated.

My bank's website has a 2 page verification process for logging on. The first page is for the User ID and the second page is for the password.

Until just a few days ago, I could enter the first letter of my User ID into my bank's website login field, and FF would auto-fill the rest. Now when I enter that first letter, nothing happens. I then have to look up this info before I can continue. Luckily, the second page (for the password) is working just fine.

If I remember correctly, there has been a recent FF update. This new update may be the source of this issue.

My Windows 10 PC stopped working a few days & is disconnected & partially disassembled. I’m temporarily using an old Windows 7 PC which I brought up from the basement the following day. They both have Firefox on them.

I saved one bookmark on the Win7 PC today. It was there when I looked earlier. Now I went to use it again & it’s not there. But my Win10 bookmarks are there!!

How could that be?

I can't unblock the pop ups and therefore can't send email attachments or download pdfs from the web. Also there are no phone numbers to call to ask, and my hands hurt from typing. I miss the 90s. Please help.

If I open a private window and then right click on any link and choose the "Open Link in New Tab" context menu option, a new tab will appear for a few milliseconds before immediately closing and the link will never load. The new tab closed in this manner will not show up in the history of closed tabs either (likely because this list is only updated after a tab fully loads a page before being closed, which obviously never happens). I have not added any new addons since long before this problem started, but I did try disabling any tab related addons to no effect.

As the subject says, I logged into my work gmail on my personal laptop, and since then my personal gmail (as well as every other gmail I used on this laptop BEFORE logging into my work one) is now under this Administrator, on all devices. I've contacted the IT department and they said they only had my work gmail under their system. More digging around and I found it to be a cookies issue, as Google Chrome (even after logging in and out of all my gmails personal and work) was absolutely fine and so was Microsoft edge.

No matter how many times I fresh install, clear cookies, or change settings in Firefox, my personal gmail is still locked under restricted mode. Linked below is proof that Google doesn't recognize my account under restriced mode, yet Youtube still says I'm being managed.

I would like my google accounts back, and if I have to wipe all my Firefox data and abandon it, I will. I just don't want to use another browser

Since firefox's latest update I am unable to access my online PNC banking account. PNC says that Firefox is no longer compatible with their online banking system. I'm using an IMAC computer. Does anyone know what's causing the problem or am I being forced to use a different browser ? My e-mail address is[email removed from public] Thank You

Hi. I don't normally have a problem presenting my Spanish tax online, using an electronic certificate.

However, yesterday I got the following Error 403 message (in Spanish) : "Identification error. Electronic certificate is not detected or has not been selected correctly. If you have an electronic certificate, check that it is correctly installed in the browser"

I have checked that the certificate is loaded on the browser, that it is valid, and I have validated with the FNMT, which reports that it is working normally, so, why does my browser not recognise/detect the certificate.

Without resolving this issue I cannot make my tax declaration.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me here. I use Google Fi to make and receive calls from my browser. I accidentally denied microphone permissions to Google Fi from the Firefox dropdown prompt and I cannot find how to get it back.

When I click the dropdown menu, I see no options to enable or disable permissions. I also do not see anything listed in the Security settings of the browser. When I check the google fi settings, I see it complaining about denied permissions though.

I've attached screenshots. Does anyone know where I can revoke the blocked permissions?

If this is actually a thing, I would like to know how to make it happen. If it is not a thing, this a suggestion that would be amazing to implement into the web-browser!

On my phone, when you scroll, it automatically hides the address bar and everything on it, to go 'full-screen'. I want this on my laptop. How can I make it, that when I scroll, or even just sit on a webpage for a moment, the URL bar will smoothly transition into being 'hidden'?

I want to be clear: I do NOT want to use the fullscreen, CTRL + F11 function, because then my Windows task bar is not accessible. Right now I have my taskbar hidden, which is fantastic because it gives my laptop screen a bigger feel. And if FireFox's URL could do the same... that would be beautiful.

Firefox 109.0 for macOS introduced an intentional bug that disables the popular highly useful zoom in/out using cmd+mouse wheel. Mozilla claims that this engineered bug "avoids accidental zooming and matches the behavior of other web browsers on macOS." However, it causes severe trouble for productivity users and the large user community who use a mouse and keyboard.

Could you please let me know how the highly popular and practical zoom in/out using cmd+mouse wheel could be re-enabled in Firefox 109.0?

Also, I would like to ask Mozilla to respect user decisions and let them choose whether they prefer to disable Ctrl or Cmd + trackpad or mouse wheel (scrolls the page instead of zooming) or use it.

I have Firefox set to "view PDF files in Firefox", but this is not happening with sites like Capital One and Consumer's Energy. these sites are just saving directly to my downloads folder even though I 1) Want to view the file first and 2) if it is going to save a flle, it is set up to ask where the file should be saved.

Neither of these things are happening even though I have them set up correctly in Settings.

Here's the problem: In my Hotmail account, I am getting email "cards" (entries in my Hotmail account) that say: Unusual Sign-In Activity. Now recently, I spent a lot of time finally contacting and spending time with a Microsoft Tech Support agent. This agent helped me change the password on my main Hotmail account. Yet, I am still getting these annoying email "cards" in my Hotmail account. Now, I've analyzed these various email "cards" and I discovered a few things relating to Firefox. Here's what I found on all (5) of these separate email "cards": Sign-in details Country/region: Australia IP address: Please note I eliminated the IP address here because I don't know if it safe to do so or if I will be compromising my computer in any way. In order to share this IP address, I need to know if I am now dealing with an official Firefox support agent. If so and if it is necessary to share the IP address then please let me know in your follow up response. I can not remove the extension!

I have noticed for some time now that I have an extension in my Firefox extensions that has no name and keeps installing itself, even when I try to uninstall it through the Firefox folder. The extension causes that in my search suggestions when I enter something always other websites come to the surface, or the actually suggested by firefox sites slide down. Some yahoo and amazon sites come up on my search results.
