Hello, I am using Firefox (105.0.3) on a Macbook Pro Mac OS 12.6 as a default browser. Every time I click on a link two firefox windows always open up. I can't find anywhere why that issue keeps popping up because I've used firefox nightly and haven't had that issue at all. Any help would be appreciated!

Every time I open a link in firefox that is a youtube short, it opens up an entirely different short than I selected unless I am using a "full video" version of the link. I have tested this and it works fine if I copy-paste it into chrome.

Here is a suggestion for you guys.

Instead of using whatever cache files you have for pinned tabs, why not put a pinned tabs section in bookmarks so we don't have to worry about something funny eliminating the tabs. Make it easy on the user and don't force them to look for session files copy/rename, etc. Be smart.

I posted this before. My OP: == I have the latest Firefox, and use Little snitch always. Constantly, i get popups from LS, asking for FF to connect to sites that i have used previously. Many, and no apparent pattern. Please. How can i shut off this 'function' of FF pre-connecting, or whatever it is? Anyone else getting this? [link to old post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1348091#answer-1437370] == I am reposting, because the old one was archived, and i am still experiencing this problem. I don't know if it's a problem with FF itself. Is there a way i could check? I have addons, and i have shut them off, singly and in groups, and i always still get LS popups. My addons: AdBlocker Ultimate AdBlocker for YouTube Default Bookmark Folder Firefox Multi-Account Containers Ghostery Google analytics opt-out LocalCDN NoScript Privacy Badger uBlock Origin Laser Cat Again, all of these i have shut off at various times, and still get wanting to connect messages.

Any advice, ideas, thoughts, methods, directions would be very welcome!

I am having trouble saving the correct website address for a specific login. The correct address I am trying to save is: https://bcbsfepvision.com/portal/ The address is automatically shortened to: https://bcbsfepvision.com when I save the login info. The problem is that when I navigate to "https://bcbsfepvision.com/portal/," the login/password info is not available, and I must type it in myself.

Is there a fix or workaround?

Thanx

105.03 on Macos 12.5 & 12.6, Apple Silicon

I recently received a SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN error when trying to connect to a Heroku site (addons.heroku.com) I think. I thought it was a Heroku problem, but noticed that on clicking "advanced" the certificate was described as being for completely different domains, on every refresh.

Shift-refresh fixed this.

Since then I upgraded to Macos 12.6, and today received a similar error when trying to connect to https://www.theautopian.com/mclaren-f1-chief-engineer-gordon-murrays-mk-i-ford-escort-is-a-restomod-masterpiece/ – again, the certificate was described as belonging to a different domain. As before a shirt-refresh fixed this.

I installed this version of Firefox from the repository and I can no longer play back video. I have done a number of things to try to get the video playback to work again, however the bug persists. What I've done:

  • Reset Firefox
  • Disabled Hardware Acceleration
  • Disabled Any and ALL Plug-Ins
  • Uninstalled and Re-Installed the Browser
  • Switched between kernels
  • Ensured that Pipewire is functioning properly
  • Ensured that my hardware is functioning properly

I've done some other smaller things in my system to try to get this back, but as it appears, this bug still persists even after a delay in dropping the new version.
