I have recently been denied access to CWTV programs because they say Firefox has an ad blocker. I have not checked the box to block pop up windows, and although I seem to get most ads, sometimes pages full of them, at times, mostly on emails, there are empty spaces where an ad is supposed to be and I don't know how to disable any ad blocker because the only reference the Firefox settings has regarding ad blocking is the block pop up windows option, which I have not chosen. CWTV thinks the shield in front of the address box means I have an ad blocker, and they told me how to disable that, but I know that is the Firefox traffic blocker icon. not an ad blocker. So what do I need to do so I don't have any ads blocked?

can not remove google search predictions (please view all images) I have exhausted all searches and read multiple forums on this matter, simply put; after the latest upgrade (104.0) 64bit you can not remove google search predictions on google search in the firefox web browser . when typing in the firefox google search page... start with the 1 (H) letter and below is a list of un-necessary predictions (see attached image) I have followed and tried many suggested instruction (see attachment) and still nothing changes. If there is no solution for this I will go back to chrome ugg... the ony work around is to use search in the title bar.

I can not access .tk or any other two-letter domain. All I get is a blank screen. (An example http://datepreq.tk ) Is it because I have a Mac? I can't access any two-letter domains with any other Apple device that I own.

8/24/2022 for the last week Firefox has been opening in a small window in the left corner of the screen. I found the "fingerprint" suggestion, but that did not apply to my case. I stopped using Firefox as the default browser for a while, but when selected it for specific instances, still the same issue. This AM I upgraded to version 104.0, still the same problem.

It appears with the latest update, 104.0, my customers are no longer able to log into their accounts with my web site. The console is showing the following warning:

Cookie "JSESSIONID" with the "SameSite" attribute value "Lax" or "Strict" was ommited because of a cross-site redirect.

So the JSESSION ID cookie is being omitted, which is preventing the login process from working correctly.

Going into settings => Privacy and Security and unchecking cookies from the Custom setup still doesn't fix the issue.

The behavior seems to be inconsistent as the same version of Firefox works fine for me on one machine, but generates this warning another, even with the same settings.

Can you explain in more detail why this is happening and steps to fix it?

I'm getting warning emails (2 so far) that windows 8.1 will no longer be supported after I think the end of this year and that I should buy windows 11. Since I use firefox exclusively, does this warning affect me? I'm not very computer savvy and am not sure what is the relationship mozilla firefox to windows (I think it's microsoft windows). I guess this computer has windows 8.1 but I'm not sure. Also, awhile back, microsoft edge showed up on my laptop but I've never even opened it, not even sure what it is. Not sure exactly when but I bought this Asus laptop but it's been several years. Thank you very much for any instruction and/or advice you may be able to give me. Randy Boone. The (Download>save file as )function is completely F'ed up. Upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 today. That included an updated firefox. Now when I download and save a file as function when I enter either a letter or number to rename the file the Search window pops up with options, or no options, that are available in the directory I'm saving to. The key or mouse focus is now in the Search box and not in the renaming the file box. That means in order to rename a file you have to switch back to the 'renaming the file' box fro the 'Search' box every time you enter a letter or number. Totally F'd up.

For some reason when writing an email on outlook.live.com, the check spelling feature disappears from the right click context menu and spelling errors are not highlighted anymore. I don't have a known time that it does this, but it happens minutes after the outlook.live.com page was first loaded and it doesn't matter if I was reading or writing an email before I started writing an email. A refresh of the page fixes the issue temporarily.

I had 2 Firefox browsers open, 1 for work & 1 for games. I restarted my computer, & tried to open the Work tabs, which I shut down 1st before the games tabs but only the last set of games tabs reopen. How do I get the "Work" (shut down before the "games") tabs to reopen? TomMulvihill99@gmail.com

Some of the websites I commonly use randomly changed fonts. Nothing was changed in the settings, this didn't happen to all the websites, most of them are like they were before. Any tips? Is it a bug in current version?

so i just started up my computer, and i have the start up preferences set to restoring previous session. this usually works out just fine, even when firefox updates. however, this time (for the second time all around) it didn't go right. for some reason, the tabs opened up are from over two months ago from june, rather than my previous session. this is the second time something like this has happened to me.

i checked my homepages, and the alternate profile, and both seemed normal. (the homepage is the firefox home and the alt profile is the bare, the profile before i imported my bookmarks, passwords, add-ons, etc etc) reopening my previous tabs hasn't been too much of a hassle, but i don't want to make a habit of this. i have very limited technical acumen, so please be detailed and specific in your reply, i do genuinely need my hand held here.

Only one pc, every time I open Firefox, I have to log in. My sync is on and I've set my settings as described in this topic 'Keeps logging me out', but without result.

Unable to access a website I’ve used many times with Firefox, had to use MA edge to access. I’ve cleared Cache and history, closed and opened browser, did not resolve the issue. website is the Walgreens login in page for photos.

When I try to drag and drop from the 'lock box' icon to the desktop, I get an anti sign (circle with a diagonal line through it). I don't know why I can't just drag it to my desktop like I did in the past.

I've tried every help article/topic I could find and it still wont work!

I am using last Firefox version 104 currently using company laptop (Windows 10).

IT puts registry polices to make Firefox managed. I was following this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1365379 on every login to gain FF Mozilla account feature back and synchronize bookmarks and tabs.

However, starting 2 weeks ago, it does not seems to be effective. `about:policies`is showing "The Enterprise Policies service is inactive.". While there is no access to Mozilla account icon or add-on all disabled at once.
