I recently upgraded my hard drive. I made a backup of the mozilla folders but now i have no idea where to restore these folders in order to restore all my bookmarks / settings etc.

Please help....

Few days before everything was working as usual. But few days before the size of firefox gets larger. It means the tabs, URL address bar menu becomes larger. I'm using the same screen resolution as I'm using previously. I've refreshed and reinstalled firefox several times, even I reinstall my Windows OS. But the problem is still there. I'm using NVIDIA GTX 1650 super GPU.

Ever since the update a couple of days ago my settings are so large that I cannot function in Windows. I am vision impaired, so I have Windows display set at 125 percent. This has never caused a problem with Firefox before. Please help!

how to stop the annoying url popup that only moves from corner to corner when you mouseover it. It interferes with all the links nearby and annoys the hell out of me. I don't feel like "coding" so if you can't give me an easy solution I will swith to another browser.

I would like to create what I call custom popups. If I go to a page, a popup will show my own notes. This may be a reminder about my personal history. It would have to be on my computer only and be triggered when I go to the site. I realize that the real url may be obscured by an app, and I don't know if that can be overcome.

I'm imagining when I go to a particular web page, I will see a reminder, or popup or note with my own comments.

This may already be available, but perhaps I don't know the right questions to ask.

I assume this would only be available on one browser on one computer.

Looking at a product on Amazon (that I've purchased before), it may tell me: "Works like a charm" or "Piece of *"

On a dating site it might remind me when I see one person: "Danger, Will Robinson" or "Try again after Christmas"

A business site might show a note: "Remind owner you met at Halloween bash" or "Express sympathy about loss of pet"

On the App Store it might remind me that an app: "Doesn't work for me" or "This is the one Janet recommends"

Perhaps on a saved document: "Sent on Aug 7 by Robert" or "Still doesn't have the right tone....look again in a week"

And when I am deciding which app to use on my computer: "Great graphic app when rushed, but not powerful" (I would never think that an app named "Moosepow" was for graphics.)

I may even be asking the wrong question. I want reminders that are automatic.

Need to be able to load pages without every other webpage failing due to the error message : An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR.

I am ready to uninstall Firefox and use Chrome exclusively. It is maddening. I have gone through the firewall exercise and fire fox appears to have permissions.

I use Firefox version 103, the old version that is perfectly compatible with an extension I always use. I love this old version, and I don't want to update it to the new version. But the update reminder pops up many times everyday. it's so annoying. I used "about config" to turn it off (see photo 2); it works a bit, but the popup still there once daily after the configuration. I want to turn it off permanently. Is there any way to do it? I've been a Firefox user for quite some time now, thank you!

Currently, I'm working on a new website for my business and have a custom font that I'm trying to get compatible across all browsers. For some reason, I can't seem to get the right CSS to have it work on my Firefox browser, despite the trusty Internet assuring me it should be otherwise!

This is the CSS I'm using at the moment:

@font-face {

 font-family: 'Santana';
 src: url('santana.woff2') format('woff2'),
      url('santana.woff') format('woff'),
      url('santana.ttf') format('truetype');

}

I'm wondering how I might go about circumventing this issue so that the Santana script also shows on Firefox browsers.

Hi, I am opt in the Open previous windows and tabs in the Settings. However, every time I am closing and opening Firefox, it does not restore previous session tabs. Can you help with this issue. please?

Is there a setting where I can be notified before you take it upon yourselves to download/install an update? While I was away from my computer this afternoon I was hit by a Firefox upgrade that shut down my email and all my tabs. I've lost stuff I may never find again. If the MF'er responsible were in reach I'd punch his lights out. Seriously.

I use Firefox on multiple devices with synch. I don't want Firefox to ask to save logins, never ever anywhere. :) On my laptop, the option is greyed out and checked, i.e. set to ask to save passwords. So this settings syncs to the other PC's. When running about:config and looking at the option there, it is set to true and also here set to true without possibility to change.

Clues? :)

Gmail will not load. I have done all of the suggested fixes: 1. clear cache, 2. clear cookies, 3. turn off all extensions, 4. restart, 5. reinstall firefox, 5. shut down restart.

It still will not load.

my old computer died and got a new one. I signed in Firefox but I don't know how to transfer all of the bookmarks and saved toolbars from the old computer. Unfortunately, I'm not able to turn on the old computer anymore so I was wondering if there is a way to retrieve this info.

I have too many information in my Firefox account but. Before updating I was logout from account and logged only when upgrade is completed. But when I have logged I have noticed that my account don't have any data/password so on. How can I recover it? Is it possible to contact Mozilla support to request to restore my account and tell me why it has been removed?

When I go to websites there are unusual characters(light font) that are displayed. That shouldn't be there. How do I get rid of them?

I notice some problems with firefox since the latest update:

1. Right after the update I enabled the settings to empty the cookies each time FF is closed down ("Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed"). But, I ended not liking this feature since it constantly demanded me to remember my passcodes and became a headache, so I disabled it. But FF still continues deleting cookies each time, and seem to be stuck on deleting cookies.

I've been given various suggestions to go to resolve this, like reinstall, config, etc., uninstall apps, but nothing helps.

2. Another issue I have is FF with Facebook. Using Facebook in FF I can't backspace and I can't post any comment. If I try to post comments it simply moves the cursor down on the page but you can't post anything.

None of these issues continue in other browsers so it must be FF related.

3. FF seem to use enormous amount of memory and power usage, especially when multiple tabs are open (or even if tabs are not open it shows previous tabs in the Task Manager). I'm not a programmer or coder but a friend of mine who was a senior programmer in the banking industry told me it's possible for coders to solve this issue. If I understood him right (and I apologize if my wording is wrong), a solution would be to keep tabs in sleep state if they are open but not active on top so they don't keep running or updating data all the time. This of course would need consideration that sometimes people want to listen to videos or audio while using other tabs - but that would involve every single tab and can perhaps be provided as an option.

Many people like to keep multiple tabs open, yet still have good browsing performance. Maybe there can be a new project to offer better tab management to make them easily visible and accessible? Bookmarks are not that great because they disapper into a long stream of text without clarity what exactly they are until you open the page, and even then scrolling down and using bookmarks is not that great if you have many saved......

I now have four websites that either won't open in Firefox or open better in Chrome. Firefox is my default browser and I hate the aggravation of opening a new tab for Chrome to access those four sites. They are sites I use regularly.
