When I try to download a file from a a download link from a trusted website it doesn't work. When I click it it just refreshes the page and doesn't download. I'm new to PC so I don't know if its something simple or if I may need to uninstall and reinstall Mozilla. Thanks in advance for any help.

So, I tried to download a video from my YouTube Premium Account. According to the youtube webpage, that video was downloaded to my iMac. My FF 124.0.1 settings are set up to download to the Desktop. I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

Yet the file is not there. I tried searching on the Support page for FF. Lots of articles but no real help. Tons of info about how to tweak the download but Nothing about Where that download ended up. I did give Permission in Settings for youtube.com to download to my iMac, but again, I can't find the file. In the Storage section, it shows 37.5 MB, so it should be on my iMac, right?

How is it possible for youtube.com to show that I downloaded the file but I can't find it?

I am totally at a loss. Never had anything like this happen before. Prior downloads have Always shown up on the Desktop.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your time.

Firefox. LinuxMint 21.3 Cinnamon 6.0.4 , Google Mail Compose, Pressing and holding the arrow key moves the cursor one character at a time. Google Chrome works fine.

response to jonzn4SUSE, because on my desk top, it won't install, because my computer chip is too old, when I get to the point of clicking on finish, when clicking on finish, it disappears, supposedly this chip is a better chip than the one I need to install it, but it's older than the one which is the minimum needed to do the install, even took it to the repair shop, I had read that sometimes if an older version of waterfox is on a computer it won't install, by the time I got it back from the shop everything with waterfox was gone, including bookmarks etc., none it was saved, some of the things I could import from my other browsers, one thing I don't like about waterfox is there isn't any way to export those things to other browsers, even when going to firefox or any other browsers, when clicking on import from other browsers, waterfox isn't on the list, also on my laptop, has an intel chip, maybe older than the one on desk top, when 1st installed it, it worked, the next time I tried to use it it wouldn't open, don't use lap top very often, usually only when desk top is in the shop on desk top, even tried to install it in safe mode, after I got it back from the repair shop, is when I found out about the chip being too old Operating System       Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU       AMD Phenom II X4 955          Deneb 45nm Technology RAM       16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28) Motherboard       Gigabyte Technology Co. My Dell Laptop INSPIRON 3793 running the Firefox/Mozilla Browser when I stream in Youtube or LiveNews periodically goes into the images in the photos I uploaded here. I am compelled to do a hard restart. I have been working with Dell Technical Services and they indicate they have no history of this issue. I am running Windows 10. My system has all technical updates including current drivers . I really do NOT want to move off FireFox but I getting pressure to run another Browser and wait and see if the problem surfaces. Is there any history of this issue with this Firefox. Any help or insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cate Brown

how to permanently keep the warning about closing multiple tabs?

Every so often, probably due to an unseen update, when I press the red X at the top of of a page where multiple tabs are open, to see how many tabs are open, they disappear, and the preference option to not close multiple tabs without warning (which says the # of tabs open), has to be turned back on.

Auto play blocking is no longer working.

This stopped working some time ago and I am finally getting around to asking why.

I do have toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets set to true, and other items in userChrome.css are working.

I am using 121.0 at home and 115.0 ESR at work and see the same (i.e. no "Close Tab"), in both cases on Debian testing. I do see this menu item when using the keyboard to open the File menu.

Any idea why this no longer works?

I tried to pay my Wells Fargo VISA bill online as I do every month. This morning it listed all my accounts correctly on the 'Accounts' screen, but when I clicked the options to transfer money, depending on the screen I was on, it gave a message "you do not have two accounts to transfer money from and to" (not the exact wording.)

I tried to use a different path to do the same thing, and on that screen it displayed the 'FROM' accounts correctly but the "TO" account area was blank.

I had to close Firefox, load Edge, and was able to transfer the money from the checking account and pay the VISA bill.

This has never happened before and I have done this transfer and pay operation every month for years. Something has changed in the browser and needs to be fixed.

I use Mozilla as my browser on Windows 7. When I click on Mozilla I get an Error page which reads, " Server Error in "/" Application. Runtime Error. Not sure how to fix this. Can you help. Thank-you

I printed a receipt for my job, but in the tab once I click "return to profile", the receipt disappears and I cannot retrieve it again. However, is there a way to retrieve my firefox print history at all and just reprint it from there?

We can access the website www.focusadhdindy.com using Chrome, but when using Firefox, we notice that it requires an additional '/' (www.focusadhdindy.com/) to open. Please resolve this issue so that the website can be accessed from Firefox using the link www.focusadhdindy.com without the need for an additional trailing slash.
