I have Firefox notifications for X.com to still show on the desktop when the browser window is closed. It had been fine up until a couple of days ago and now it only shows notifications when the browser is open. I have push notifications enabled on X.com through Firefox, Firefox settings and Windows notification settings. All software is up to date. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can no longer switch search engines via the pull down list available to the right of the search bar. I used to be able to switch from a list I set up in settings. I now have to go into settings to change my search engine. This is annoying. Also, recently, when I make my first search with Google Search I have to enter the search criteria twice. The first time the system just sits there with no response. The second time it responds normally. This is the same on both of my Dell Lattitude laptops running the latest version of Windows 11. I run NORD VPN and Trend Micro internet security

OS: Linux Mint 22.1 Xia base: Ubuntu 24.04 noble Firefox: mint-001 -. 1.0 / 137.0.2 (64-bit)

When starting Firefox with a completely new generated profile, I still get following errors in the Browser console tool:

At this time using Firefox, I haven't configured a Firefox sync-account, to sync settings with the central stored profile on Firefox servers.

Solution: May it is helpful, that if a sync-account isn't configured by a user, these function calls should be suppressed by Firefox, in order to avoid these exception/error messages in Browser console. These error message are just irritating messages, as long as a sync-account isn't configured and activly used.

My settings does not have an option to enable Firefox Labs so I can enable AI support.

• Firefox browser.preferences.experimental.hidden was set to true and I changed it to false with no change in results
• there is no "Firefox Labs" section in my settings anywhere and I've checked "General" and "Privacy and Security"
• toolkit.experiment is set to true
• browser.ui.experimental set to true
• labs set to true

Found redit discussion with the same issue, but no solution

According to this page the option should be in my settings, listed after "sync" and before "more from Mozilla."

I've attached an image of what my settings menu looks like. There is no option for the labs.

What else should I try/do?

Note: using Firefox on Desktop PC. Not a mobile device. My Firefox version is 130.2.2

All my history is gone as well, but I really only care about the bookmarks, as there are a lot of them and I've spent many hours accumulating and organizing them. Is there any way I can recover them?

Since a few days my bookmarks have disappeared after starting up Firefox. Does anybody know how to get them back and why this happens? Thank you in advance for the assistance.

There's a way to recover a pack of history that I left open, but I've put another station open together and closed the old one first, and now I've lost a lot of tabs that were open. I don't know if Mozilla has that function, but that will be great. Something like that saves me a lot of times in Chrome, but I want here. Mozilla is better

When printing a web page as a pdf file and trying to import the data with Power Query, it is not able to recognize all of the data. It picks up the headers and some of the body but ignores other parts.

When I paste an URL in the address bar with Ctrl+V and then press Enter before releasing Ctrl, the page is opened in a new tab. How can I disable that? I want it in the same tab. (If I release Ctrl and then hold it again before pressing Enter, it opens in the same tab already.)

On one of the sites I wanted to delete 1 of 2 suggested logins for autofill. I never saved passwords. In the password manager it told me that I did not save any passwords, I did not see my logins there. I cleared cookies and information about saved data, but it did not help. Where are these logins stored so that I can delete them manually on the PC or where can I find them (I do not want to turn off autofill, just delete one of the options)? Thanks in advance

I will visit a site, say engadget. Then I can open another tab, and I expect when I type en or eng or engadge that it'll autocomplete to engadget, but it won't. For some sites, it works, for others, it doesn't. I'm a developer and am used to figuring stuff out, but no matter what settings I change it doesn't consistently work. I use Firefox on all my devices but on this one machine, it doesn't work. I've triple checked the settings. I am this close to switching browsers, it's so frustrating. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
