I've hit a crazy problem:

I open firefox and browse to a website. Close Firefox and then reopen and attempt any website and it just hangs. Close the browser and look at task manager and it's still listed - end task open again still no connection to anything. Have tried the Read Only thing in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ after a restart of the PC and it stays Read-Only even when I change it. Have tried a new profile which just moves the same behaviour to a new profile ie create a new profile open the browser go to any website, close the browser and reopen and get nothing. I have repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled and I just can't get it to work unless I restart the PC everytime i want to go to a webpage! Anticipate switching to Google Chrome soon if I can't find a solution which is a shame as I have been a Mozy fan for years. Any suggestions?

With some emails in Outlook on Firefox, clicking on a link within the email gives me a new blank window, with its address line saying something like this: (name of original site, then) ".list-manage.com/track/click?u=ca38acd 82fe622b7" etc etc... This doesn't happen with all emails, but often enough and in some of my most-used sites... I'm on a new HP desktop. Can anyone help?

hi, i had to reinstall all my windows , after that whit the new fire fox reinstalled , many pages that load well now they dont , problems of autenticitcity, broken page page icon over images.

in my tablet and phone dont the same pages load well and in the computer too before the reinstall.

Until a few days ago, my Firefox would save all the tabs from the previous session. But now it does not, and I still have all the necessary settings enabled. I noticed that it will save the previous session IF I use the Firefox "EXIT" from the "File" menu. However if I use close the session using the upper right hand corner Windows close box (where the "X"), it does NOT save the tabs from the session. I also notice that when I close the Firefox window using the Windows close box, that Firefox (several) show still running under the Windows Task manager, but not when I use the "File:Exit". Running the current FIrefox version 127.0 (64-bit) under Windows 11.

I want replace firefox Windows Mozilla MSIX 1- 0 package browser from ms store with regular downloaded version but I do not want to lose all my settings.

How do I go about this?

All of a sudden my web address bar at the top of the screen disappears when I open a web address and I have to push my mouse to the top of the screen to make it appear? Didn't used to do this.

Firefox is my default browser...but when i open it.. MSN Browser opens first and i have to 'click' the+ add button to go straight to firefox...why is that happening? I have checked how to stop MSN browser loading from youtube video...adjusting the reg-edit process..rebooted and redone a few times....but still when i click on my firefox app...this is what happens every time?

I'm having problems logging into any/all Wordpress dashboards following the latest Firefox (V127) update. The 'verifying' screen continues to cycle but doesn't produce the login screen. I can get them to work in Troubleshooting Mode. This also works when the 'New Tab Override' Add-on is disabled too. I've tried ALL of the recommended custom tab plugins with the same results, so it suggests a common incompatibility.

Have cleared cookies and browser cache. WP login works on all other browsers.

Would be grateful for any help and/or suggestions.

Recently, I cleared the cookies and site data from my browser as I'd noticed they were taking quite of lot of space on my harddrive. I thought clearing them would just reset them, but it looks like they were completely wiped instead.

Now, the browser never remembers any login information, so I have to connect to every site I use everytime I open my computer. It's troublesome when some of them have double verification and I have to go through the trouble of checking my email and entering a code everytime. The websites don't ask me to enable cookies again, so I don't know how to make them remember my informations again.

Is there a way to re-enable cookies, or have the websites ask me to enable cookies again?

I use my local ISP for email service and tech support chk'd and there are no current issues with their email service. When Bitwarden is turned on and I open an email, none of the text in the reading panel of the email will show up. The "subject" header is readable, along with the words 'from' and 'to', but no text after them. The entire reading pane where the email text should be is blank. As soon as I turn Bitwarden off, I read read ALL the email text...??!!

So I just downloaded Firefox update and it wiped out all my open tabs ... very very inconvenient for me! Been using firefox for a long time and that never happened before. Some warning would have been nice.

I maintain application that uses OWIN Microsoft library for authentication. It uses .AspNet.Cookies to pass auth information. For unknown reasons I see that Firefox 127 rejects that cookie. I've tried with SameSite Lax/None/Strict and Secure param but no results. Previous versions and other browsers ( Chrome, Edge Safari ) woks fine. Any idea ?

For some time now, when I download a .pptx, .xlsx og .docx Firefox changes the file format to .pdf when downloading the file. I then have to manually choose the correct app for opening the file, overrule error messages and delete the ".pdf" when re-saving the file even though it recognises it is not really a pdf file.

I've tried to change the Firefox settings, clearing cache, restarting or deleting in config and other small attempts to reboot whatever suddenly started to cause this problem. As far as I can see, it is not an unknown issue, but I've not yet been able to find a solution to my problem, which is getting on my nerves.

Has there been an influx of blue as the preferred icon color the latest years?

With somewhat degraded eyes, this has started to become a problem for me.

I want to have Firefox Developer edition installed, but I have to settle for the standard edition. Why ? Because the standard edition has a distinct orange icon. I am not able to quick glance at the task bar and see the difference between what window is Firefox Dev (blue icon), Outlook (blue icon), VSCode (blue icon), Azure Data Studio (blue icon), WebStorm (blue icon), 1Password (blue icon) or MS Edge (blue icon).

My problem is that my web browser (in this case Firefox) is the application I most often switch back and forth between and the struggle is real... I have to spend a lot of time looking at the task bar to acuatlly be able to see what icon is Firefox Developer Edition.

I don't need this as a feature in Firefox, necessarily, just some tips or tricks if there is any icons in the program folder e.g. I can swap out.

Hi, the site "https://pixabay.com/" is suddently extremely slow with mozilla. The pictures don't showup or take many minutes before you can see them. Normally only white boxes show. The same site (pixabay) with the browser "Opera" works perfectly. I always use mozilla and since a short while it just doesn't work with pixabay (a site for royalty-free images). wise.com is a site I've used for a long time with Firefox. Now I can't log in. Access is still available from the Chrome browser, but I prefer Firefox
