Madam/Sir,

I love FF and have been using the same for a very long time. However, while rating might vary at many websites used for the same, Tor and Epic Pivacy Browser are considered the top 2 browsers for privacy.

I do not like Tor but can you suggest steps to bring Firefox at par with Epic( if it's indeed toughened for privacy compared to all other browsers) Privacy Browser?

                                  I have already signed up for FF VPN ,which isn't available for India yet but would love to embed the FF soon.

I am trying to import a CA certificate from portswigger and when I go to settings -> privacy and security -> view certificate and then select the the authorities tab, the import button doesn't work. Upon pressing the button no action happens. It is a snap installed version 106.0.5 running on Ubuntu 22. On my Kali box I had no issues but I also believe it is running an older version of Firefox 102.4. should I roll back to the previous version on my Ubuntu box?

When trying to do two-factor authentication through the application, it gives an error. I scan the QR-code, enter the number = wrong code. used different applications for this on android, but the result has not changed. I need to set up authentication to log into my addons account

When set "never remember history" in settings, the next time I check it reads "use custom settings" rather than my selection of "never remember history" Please explain

   have encountered problems loading a game on Paddypower.com (Jigs and Reels) it failed to load, it load progress bar was very slow in fact it never completed. After clearing Site Data (as advised by site support) still same problem. Tried on MS Edge and it loads OK, so back to FireFox.... switch on troubleshoot mode and try again after clearing site data again (all cookies allowed) Game now reports error and stops during load, as do other games from same supplier.... so I've made things worse ! So this stop may not be the cause of original problem.
   Captured Console , which means little to me but does contain lots of errors, but I seem to recall looking at this before and lots of errors seemed harmless. 
   Will go back to non troubleshoot mode and capture log again.

I upgraded firefox. I then did a system restore on my computer to try and fix a icon issue on my desktop....it was taking forever and I had to leave for work, I left system restore running and went to work.....I came home to a firefox with no passwords, no extensions, add-ons, and no bookmarks. I couldn't even log into firefox.....eventually I had to create a new password, but......my old data folder no shows one day ago as previous file data. ........I am not a computer whiz. If it says go to profile user, I need 100% exact instructions on how to do it......why can't I highlight google to get rid of it? I click on it and remove will not highlight......I need my stuff back.....reading links doesn't help, they "assume" one is an IT......I am not.

I see that when I start Firefox, the firefox.exe process appears with ID 0001 (for example). Then 0002 and 0003 appear, and so on, after which the Firefox window is displayed. But process 0001 closes.

The problem is that a system service like UE-V monitors the process and binds to it. This service synchronizes user directories. By intercepting the process, UE-V pauses it, copies the profile from the server, then lets the process run. Upon the user is closing the program, UE-V see that process is closed and uploaded profile to the server.

Of course, the problem is that the process opens and immediately closes, thereby preventing the ue-v service from working normally. UE-V thinks that process was closed and do not see other Firefox processes.

All I could do was write a C# program that runs, launches Firefox, and watches for processes, once they've finished (all) this program exits as well. I replaced the original firefox.exe file with this program. It turns out something like a launcher.

But I would like to get away from this method (although it has been working for like 2-3 years).

How can I force Firefox not to close the first process?

I have the auto fill feature turned on for my credit cards. when I go to enter the credit card information on any site , the drop down pops up with my credit card choices but then doesn't let me select and enter the credit card info.

Good Day, I'm using Firefox 107.0 . I have two expired personal certificates issued by SAP, a very large Business Application Company. I also have a current recently issued certificate that doesn't expire until Nov. 2023. Trying to connect to the Support site for the Company, I'm informed that my certificate has expired. I expect that's because the certificates are listed in order of oldest to newest, and the expired certificates are hit before the new one, which is likely not checked. I go into Privacy and Security Settings, to the View Certificates option, and delete the two expired certificates, then click OK. I go back to view the certificates, and the deleted certificates are still there. I still cannot connect to the Company site. When is was using MS IE, i was able to delete expired certificates without any issue. How can i safely delete expired Personal Certificates in Firefox, without having to delete many other things that I do not want to have to deal with re-establishing, which would be a significant time sink. that`s about 3 weeks firefox switch to another url when i go to multiple websites. firefox first show this IP address in addressbar: 89.208.103.43, then opens some websites fequently that i put the image of one of them at below.

Its not wholly unusual, when visiting website using Firefox, having to switch to Chrome due to to login related issues.

Today, Target won't accept my credentials, even tho It didn't behave this way several days ago. In the past week or two, I've had to do this for at least 3 different sites.

I know this is probably related to Firefox strict security protocols, but is there nothing to be done about it?

New Tab Override extensions also doesn't helps, because of restriction for extensions to use full javascript. It gives the error: Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at inline (“script-src”).

So these days mozilla crop. actually totally blocked the ability for users to use their own files as their own new tab, and blocked for extensions to access local files or full-functional javascript on their own pages, which is not just ridiculous but malicious.

So how can i use my local file with full-functional javascript as new tab?

1. Delete cookies on exit does not work. 2. Manual deletion of cookies results in 30 mg. left on site. At one time it was 60, then 0, now 30.

    I do not have a list of Exceptions.

Everything I sign in to my account I I will get 4 different emails alerting me of the sign in and it always stresses me out thinking someone else mightve signed into my account at the same time time I did. I have 2 different email addresses associated with my account, the main on and the recovery one. So it makes sense why Im getting the "new sign-in" email twice but I dont understand why I'm getting it twice to both emails. All sign ins come from the same IP address but not mine (I use a VPN) but 2 will have a slighty different time (2-3 minutes) than the other 2. I also have 2 factor authentication set up with Microsoft authenticatior so is the double authentication what might be causing the double emails? I'm sorry if the way I worded this makes no sense but I'm super serious about security and Im tired of changing my password out of fear everytime I do new sign-in.
