Why do I have TWO Firefox icons shown on my desktop screen? If I click on #1 it says: "Created Tuesday, February 20, 2018" If I click on #2 it says: "Created Tuesday, December 05, 2023" Do I need both? or can I delete one of them? Thanks.

Video play problem on Mac Current Firefox version fails to play videos on my Mac (OS 14.2.1). When I click play on a video on any website, the video is extremely slow to start, then immediately stalls for several minutes at a time. My internet connection isn't the issue I'm getting over 650 MBS. I assume the problem is with Firefox, because both Safari and Opera play videos just fine.

For a couple of weeks now, out of nowhere, links I click from emails sent to me open in new tabs but are blank pages. This includes download links, so I'm unable to see any links or download anything being emailed to me by a number of senders. Weirdly, some senders' links work. I didn't change anything and don't know what to do about this. Please advise if you have a solution, thanks!

When I am trying to access a photo library for Bing Wallpaper photos I am blocked by Cloudfare error 525. I can using a different browser (MS Bing; Chrome; DuckDuckGo) and it works fine. Only errors out using Firefox since last two updates.'

I am having a problem with my Firefox homepage. There are several things going on like the red, yellow and green dots on the left side of the menu change to light dark. Some of My Bookmarks appears twice and one was added. I did a Refresh and troubleshooting but to see if my home page would go back to normal but it did not. I think I have a bug that is causing these changes on my Mozilla Browser. I need to get the browser back to normal.

I open a website (opentable.com) and it opens momentarily then the screen goes blank white. I can open the site using microsoft edge.

Something has changed as this previously was not a problem

After updating to the new version of Pocket on my Windows 10 pc, I found that all my previous saves have disappeared- even after switching to Mozilla Firefox browser. How do I get them back? This is a disaster.

This problem occurred recently and it's quite a pain in the ass. I'm using Macbook Pro 14 inches with M1 Max chip. Lately when I work, I have to open quite many urls at the same time, and my mac went crazy hot because of firefox's insane cpu usage. I tried what's suggested to turn off the acceleration mode, but still, nothing changes.

Is there still anything I can do to resolve it? or I just switch to other browser?

I used to be able to access my Wells Fargo account using Firefox (as recently as last Thursday Jan 11,2024). Now when I try to access the account, Wells Fargo no longer recognizes my sign-in information. The Wells Fargo internet customer service person I spoke to said I was the second customer within the last few days with a similar problem with Firefox. Both Chrome and Edge are not having similar problems. I have the latest version of Firefox, so possibly Wells Fargo changed something. I do not want to use Chrome or Edge because of the hundreds of trackers they allow. Does anybody have any ideas? How does Firefox check on the compatibility of Firefox with websites? Thank you. I maintain a website that I update on a regular basis. For the past month, none of the updates have shown up in Firefox. I've refreshed the page, cleared the cache, logged out and logged back in. Nothing has helped. With other browsers, there's no problem -- Chrome, Opera and Safari all show the website updates as soon as I post them. I'm using Firefox 122.0.1 (64-bit) on MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (MacBook Pro 14-inch 2023). The website uses WordPress, hosted by DreamHost. I have two other WordPress websites, both hosted by WordPress, and Firefox is showing updates with no problem. I'm querying DreamHost on this as well, but I suspect they'll must say it's a Firefox problem.

Is there a way to have the PC version of Firefox block ads and pop-ups as effectively as the Android version? If I visit the same site on Firefox Android and Firefox for Windows and Linux, the PC versions are popping up ads and new tabs but Android version doesn't.

Not sure how to explain this without the images... But I opened up YouTube just looking for some videos and uhhhhhh. I checked on other things in my computer to see if it's just my GPU or some weird graphic thing, but everything that isn't firefox seems to be working OK. It's not that terrible, I'm just really confused.

Why is this happening? And can I fix it? Started like... two minutes ago.

I need to know how to safely get rid of these messages. Apple uninstalled and reinstalled Foxfire, but the messages still came up ...but not when I used Safari. Also these messages did not appear on my iPad or iPhone, only on my laptop.
