I use Firefox for Mac. Often when I want to click on a link or complete an on-line form, a long list of unwanted suggestions pops up and orevents me doing this. Only by hitting Escape can I get control back.

By the way, I don't want any solution which involves clearing the cache, as I value that help.

1-844-457-1734 is the number that flashed on my screen when I was using Firefox and that number was supposedly to Apple Security but Apple said it's no number of theirs. Was that a scam that I got from Firefox?

Firefox has always maintained that current tabs will be restored after a reboot of the browser, and indeed that was the case for the first half-dozen years I've been a subscriber. That has not been the case for the past 4 - 6 months however. I have the correct Settings for this, so it is not on my end. Why do I always get a fresh Firefox browser whenever I update the version (which is quite regular lately . . . maybe a new version of Firefox every 3 weeks). Please help.

How to do this for my paid newspaper subscriptions ask me to log in every week: they say "You can avoid doing that by saving your login information on your browser" (I'm on Imac)

I use Mosaic, a window manager utility, for macOS. With a hotkey, I can move or resize a window according to a preconfigured grid.

This always has worked great with all different applications, and only in the past couple of months it stopped working with Firefox.

It appears to be related to the way Firefox is does animation of resizing or window movement. My hotkeys no longer have the effect on the Firefox window moving.

This is disruptive enough to my workflow that I have switched to Chrome, which doesn't have the same issue. I really am not okay with this solution, as Chrome is the worst for a software developer. Tab and session management in Firefox is the absolute best and I want to come back to FF.

Is there any way to completely disable whatever window animation features have recently been added to Firefox?

I started getting this message today - "this page is slowing down firefox. To speed up your browser stop this page" How can I fix it other than to start using Safari.

I have created a WordPress Website and some of the images are not showing on the FireFox browser. There is no problems on Chrome or Safari browsers. The first image is a screen shot from the Chrome Browser of a section on my website, the second image is a screen shot of the same section but from FireFox Browers. Can you help fix this problem?

I can't figure out what setting to fix this: every time I click to open a new window, about 35 tabs automatically open up that I have closed several times in the past. I simply want one new window without any previously opened tabs.

I've tried:

• clearing my entire search history several times
• shutting down Firefox and reopening (which opens up all those tabs)
• uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it
• initiating the latest Firefox updates
• restarting my computer
• turning my computer on and off
• looking through every single preference in my Firefox settings (I've unchecked anywhere it talks about opening tabs)
• reading various articles on Firefox's support page and on other support websites to try to figure this out (there's little info on this problem; the support is mostly about how to save previously opened tabs

Please help! I'm tired of having to close down all these tabs every single time I have to restart my computer or have to shut down Firefox. It slows down everything I'm trying to do.

Since installing NordVPN I am unable to login. FireFox will not accept my password. However, it works on my android phone. I have installed the NordPass extension but the problem persists. How do I fix this issue. I want Bitwarden to manage my passwords.

I have used https: www.united. com on Firefox before. I can log into united and use all features except when clicking on Book then Flights only. Normally it goes to a search page to enter airports, dates, etc etc. It did work on Firefox but just very recently it loads into that particular site but then goes to a blank white page. I attempted to use this feature on Google to check and it works fine. Any thoughts?

Until a few days ago, I could type a search into the Firefox home page and my typing would appear as expected in that 'window.' Now the typing appears in a address bar, apparently owned by google, at the top of the page and it is extremely distracting and annoying.

How can I restore the sensible and easy way to search?

WSJ opinion pages won't load fully on Firefox. The same webpage works on other browsers. This has been a recurring issue ever since I switched over to Firefox. It's the main reason why I still keep Google Chrome around.

I've tried updating to the newest version of Firefox and also iOS. Also, clearing my cache/cookies works sometimes but the problem keeps coming back.

I turned off my Mac Mini 2 last night, February 7, and when I turned it on this morning, all my Firefox bookmarks were gone.

Everything else is fine (Chrome bookmarks, which are different from those in Firefox, remain intact). And yes, I should have known better, but since when a Firefox update deletes all bookmarks?

I'm guessing that is the reason, because everything else is intact.

Any suggestions as to whether there is ANY way to recover them?

For several weeks now, whenever I close Firefox and shut down my iMac and open Gmail the next day, Gmail seems to forget which emails I have already read, and it marks many old emails as unread. Deleting the Google cache and cookies helps, but only temporarily. This problem doesn't seem to occur when using a different browser, such as Safari, or when using the built-in MacOS email client. Therefore, I'm thinking it's a buggy interaction between Firefox and Gmail. I didn't used to have this problem, so perhaps it's related to a Firefox update? Anyhow, I'm hoping someone can help. Thanks!

My Firefox window with 15+ tabs just crashed. I watched a YouTube video and the solution offered doesn't work. How can I restore them? And does Firefox really not have a way to speak to a human being??

Just lost it.

After update, netflix shows message to update browser, see screenshot attached. And sometimes, Mozilla extension webpage does not recognize that it is opened on Firefox browser, see screenshot attached. Firefox version - 122.0.1 MacOS version - sonoma 14.2.1

I set up a Primary Password, but I can easily get around it by clicking 'cancel' then clicking 'home' icon. then I can get into ANY of the links. For others who have access to my computer NOT having that access is Exactly why I set up Primary password in the first place. Surely there must be a way to fix this???? haas2128@comcast.net Thanks. After restarting my MacBook today, it seems like Firefox has been updated. When I signed in to my account, all of my passwords as well as my search history and personal customization have been deleted.

This is a very unfortunate situation. Please advise on how this can be restored.
