Please find a way to help us restore session once lost. Going into Library retrieving and copying should not be the only way - and times history is gone.

Is there not an easier way to create a daily back-up withing Firefox to simply hit 'Restore' ?

This is extremely time consuming - when multiple history is lost while researching. There MUST be an easier way to help us with this ongoing issue. Thank you for my current headache, and loss of time.

hey, i couldn't find any option for it, so i'm asking here. i switched from chrome to firefox but i noticed that once you reach a certain amount of tabs, you need to start scrolling through your tabs. how do i make it so, that all tabs are visible at once and theres no need for scrolling ? thank you

I used Firefox products very heavily for several years, but switched to chrome about a year ago for work compliance reasons. I tried to log back into my Firefox account using login information stored in my password manager, and I got prompted to make a new account. There seems to be no record of my old account, no saved bookmarks, passwords, or history with other products like Firefox Monitor. To my knowledge I never got a notice that my account was being terminated. Is it possible to recover my account?

if anyone can help me get the how do you want to open up this file page it would be really great because i'm trying to download unity 2019 and it won't let me because it keeps downloading as a firefox file

websites showing NONE of them are connected in firefox either in my bookmarks toolbar or the quick list of websites on the top bar, so therefore I can not open any webpages. Please advise.

certain parts of kp.org will not download with firefox. had to install an other browser to get them. as this is important med. info. i think this should be looked at and fixed

I can't scroll using the mouse wheel but i can using arrows. I can scroll normally in the troubleshoot version of Firefox.

Tried the following: -Refreshing Firefox -Uninstall and reinstall -Removing all Extensions

nothing of the above worked.

Why am I locked out. I play every day and today I can't get through and Google said it might be a Cookies issue. Need help please. Not very savy re. Cookies. I am a Senior.

I've been using firefox desktop pretty much since its inception. Despite numerous updates, for well over a year it has been auto scrolling when on facebook and I have tried every fix it to no avail (I'm highly computer literate and to me, this is now nuts). Note. My android mobile has never done it. I am at the end of my tether and am now looking at moving to another browser due to the frustration. I've gone through all the forums and note there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people with the same problem. Why can you not fix this and is there a fix? I just updated to ver 11. prior to this if I scrolled down a list of bookmarks in a folder the next time I went to the folder ff would remember where I was and open at that spot. now every time I open the folder I am at the top of the list. this is very inconvenient since my folders has a LOT of bookmarks tagged. is there some option I need to check or uncheck. some other way to restore the reopen at previous location.

So I I've been holding out upgrading to W11 for some time now, but have to upgrade after being tipped by a friend about ONE convenient feature for multitasking, split apps view and combining it into one tab. So far so good, didn't experience any issue. One complain I have is the gigantic cut, copy, open..etc Tab at the top of the new file explorer. But, again, nothing out of the ordinary.

But when I opened Firefox for the first time after upgrading I noticed a painful delay before actually loading the new pages. At first I thought it was only because I just recently updated the OS, so I leave for few hours and keep working my docs. After going back to browse I still have the same issue. This time I notably irritated because of browsing my regularly checked websites have so much delay now compared to before I upgrade to W11.

Here's the list of thing I tried to fix this issue.

   Clearing caches

   Disabling add ons

   Disable enhanced protection

   Refresh Firefox program

   Updating my chipset driver 

   updating my gfx driver

   Reseting my network.

Nothing I tried above worked.

Again the issue is not internet speed. When I downloaded the AMD drivers, it was 14MBps, quite fast.

Then I open the "task manager" and tick the "always on top" option. I noticed that Firefox is still idling even after I clicked links in my homepage. Firefox only uses 2% of CPU usage. It stays that way for 4-11 seconds (depending on the websites I tested) before eventually ramps up the CPU usage to the percentage I expected to opens a new website.

Anyone knows the answer? Please I'm getting desperate here. I don't want to daily drive chromium forks and would like to keep using Firefox.

After re-starting my iMac the wrong characters appear for non-letter characters such as punctuation, which you can see in the screenshot from the pocket recommendations on the home page, where the issue doesn't appear too bad, but in practice trying to use any site with form inputs asking for email addresses etc. is impossible.

This has happened in the past and I have somehow been able to fix it, but this time nothing I've done helps. (It's only ever Firefox that is affected.)

I have deleted the app and re-installed it. I have cleared cache and cookies. I have cleared all browser history etc. I have tried changing fonts from the defaults. I'm not sure there are any other troubleshooting steps I can take.

I'm using FF developer edition, current version (just re-installed it, but it is always up-to-date, and this has been happening for a year or two). MacOS 12.6.3.

I'm a long-time FF user and until now I've lived with this inconvenience as I've somehow fixed it after troubleshooting steps, but this time I can't stumble upon the solution.

I have a problem only on one website (Ancestry.com). One of the pages there isn't loading. This has only happened since updating Firefox which I did yesterday or Friday. I have contacted Ancestry and the problem isn't their end. I was told they have had numerous customers who use Firefox experiencing the same problem. Their advice was to contact Firefox but there doesn't seem to be a way to speak to anyone, or to reinstall Firefox. I am nervous of deleting and reinstalling because I am not at all computer savvy and I'm worried about losing all my bookmarks and passwords. I would really appreciate someone taking me through this in baby steps and plain English. Imagine you are helping your 90 yr old granny who doesn't know the tech terms!
