I am unable to log on to my Synology Diskstation 220+ using the Firefox browser. The device is accessed through my local IP address. I have no trouble using the Microsoft Edge browser. This problem has existed for several months and I cannot figure it out. On Firefox I have checked the ad blocker and disabled it. I tried clearing the cache. I would appreciate any ideas people could suggest. Thanks.

In Windows task manager, it shows Firefox using 863.9MG (it was up to 1,4485.6MB a while ago) of memory with 17 Firefox files listed under the Firefox heading. What is this? Why is it using so much memory?

What would cause FF to suddenly start running upwards of 35 processes with only a single tab open? It's hogging a tremendous amount of RAM when this happens and has rendered itself basically unusable. I normally only have 2-4 active extensions as well, but I've eliminated those now to no avail.

The autocomplete feature keeps showing me the US version of the KLM website when I type "kl" in the address bar instead of my local version. And I can't seem to get rid of it, or to get my local version instead.

How to control what is the first result shown in the address bar ?

in Facebook when i try to to do avideo call to some one I can see me but not them it says they have joined but do not see them odly it works in Chrome but not mozilla > I even tried diabling a ll add on and still can not get i have no idea why i reinstalled the camera i am on window 7 as my 10 is broken

Why i am suddenly getting Google log-in requests when I first open some websites in my Firefox browser on Mac OS Monterey? This was not happening before; it has started in the past couple of weeks and is extremely annoying. I do everything possible to stop providing Google with any information about me. One of the ways I thought I was doing that was by using the Firefox browser. But apparently not, since Google is able to infiltrate the browser and ask for a sign-in. It is not possible that Google is doing this without Firefox/Mozilla awareness of it.

for some reason firefox decided it is fun to mess around with my browser and decided to prevent me from making saved logins,this is so frustrating why does firefox like to do this.

Every time I work on the local environment a lot of my extensions go crazy on localhost, throwing enormous amount of errors. This makes console barely readable. Is there a way to disable messages thrown by extensions in the developer tools of Firefox Developer Edition?

Trying to bookmark a pdf, it's on the same location across my devices, but my devices have different usernames, so I added "%userprofile%" to the filepath so that it opens on any device. The issue is that when I enter this into the Bookmark URL bar, it automatically sticks "25" next to the % characters, which makes the bookmark unusable.

"C:\Users\%userprofile%\Documents\example.pdf" automatically becomes "file:///C:/Users/%25userprofile%25/Documents/example.pdf"

Also, as I just discovered now when I pasted this URL into this post, a second "25" is inserted, becoming: "file:///C:/Users/%2525userprofile%2525/Documents/example.pdf"

I go to a document on a webpage on the internet. I select the "print" button and the "Print" window opens. I select to print one copy of one page and press "Print". My printer starts printing and out comes several pages with unreadable characters at the top of the page with the rest of the page blank. Then several black pages come out of the printer. I have to turn the power off on the printer to get it to stop.

I contacted Hewlett Packard and they said the printer was operating normally and the problem was with the browser.

About every month or so Firefox decides to delete my login info and i have to relog everywhere again.

While this is not a critical issue, its a very annoying one.

My cookie settings are on standard, and the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" square is unticked. I use Dashlane for my passwords but ive used it for a long time before on mozilla and other browsers and i've never had issues with it.

Problem with firefox, In order to load the next web site I have to close firefox and load it again. I have removed all apps and add on's and ran every malware, virus finder that i can find, help, very annoying

Just before protection against ads expired, the icon's "X" went black. Now that I've renewed, it has not changed the "X" on the shield to white indicating renewal.
