i have had to reformat my imac and reload firefox how do i use the search box in the centre of my home page and not the one in the tool bar. every time i type in the box it transfers to the tool bar. my home page search box has no arrow or spy glass at the end of it how do i get it to work again

using Firefox 102.0.1 (64-bit) on a 2010 Mac High Sierra 10.13.6. Clicking on boxes in web forms do not show choice made, both in my medical mychart app, as well as the USPS web app. What gives? Good afternoon. My name is Tito, I had a lot of logins and passwords for the most of the sites saved in the firefox passwords. I went to another country for vacation and for some reason i lost all of my saved logins. Is there anyway to recover it. one of the advantages of having saved logins nowadays, and because all the passwords get more complex is to save it and in case we forgot we can always check it.. is there anyway i can recover it?? stupidly I downgraded to an earlier version as the latest version appeared not to easily change for one website to another. in the process I lost all my Bookmarks .Now I am on latest version without my bookmarks. How do I recover them ?

it has been crashing on a regular basis for sometime,(once, twice, three times a week ) no symptom, no indication, never have more than 2 windows going, wtf I'm going to chrome or wherever, if I do not get support

How do I delete a single bookmark? The instructions in your help file do not work. I click on the blue star in the top right corner, hit "Delete bookmark," but the bookmark does not delete. I have tried shutting down Firefox and restarting after giving the delete command, but no dice. The bookmark seems immortal! Using Mac OS 10.13.6.

After the new version, Firefox is taking over 5 minutes to open up and then when I quit at night, it takes several minutes to close and then a pop up message says Firefox has crashed. Do you want to quit or reopen Firefox? What is going on?????? Is this my problem or is a problem with the new version????????

I cannot open hyperlinks in Outlook. When I click a hyperlink, a new tab opens in Firefox, but times out. On my mobile device I get the following message after clicking a hyperlink: https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com

This started occurring after the latest update, but after reviewing the support logs, I see this is not a new issue.

I have not yet seen a workable solution. Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to create categories on Bookmarks Toolbar?

I have many bookmarks and I just want to organise them by naming the front of the row. I might need to add empty spacers too. For example, Banking - has about 8 bookmarks, then new row will be Crypto - 11 bookmarks, Social Media - 4 bookmarks, News - 6 bookmarks and so on.

I have searched for this everywhere but no answer as yet. Does anyone have trick they use to achieve something similar to above?

I started using Firefox ESR a while ago when I had an older version of Mac OS. Now I am running High Sierra (OS 10.13) and I think I could use the standard release of Firefox, which may have newer features supported. How do I switch to that?

Check subtitle language I did not ask for. I'm very disappointed in Firefox that I now can't even see the movies I used to watch or even worse, there subtitles in a language I don't understand ... Arabic.

MacBook Pro OS High Sierra Firefox version: 106.0b4

When I bring up Google Maps I put the address in and Firefox shows an error message. This has been happening for a couple of months. See Error Message below.. Google Chrome has NO problem pulling up the address. How can I fix this? Thank you.

I am running Apple OS High Sierra, 10.13.6 on an older iMac Mid 2011. My Preferences have always been set, or checked, General_Tabs "Open links in Tabs instead of NEW Window."

The result is a Firefox screen full of Single Windows with Single Tabs. Some Windows I may continue to add Tabs to but most of the time I copy the link from the NEW Window and paste the link on the older Window. If I am in a hurry the result will be many many Opened NEW Windows with one or two NEW Tabs. See attachments. This has been going on for at least 6 months now.

Note your checkbox titled "Email me when someone answers the thread" does not work but please email me at "[email removed from public]".

Although I can access every other aspect of my school account, I am locked out of email by a screen telling me: "Your login request has expired. Try logging back into the application" with the accompanying tab reading: "Universal Prompt Error".

Regardless of my logging out and trying again, and rebooting my computer, contacting the school's IT dept, I continue to be locked out through Firefox. Chrome will let me in.

Please help me resolve this problem.

I am operating in macOS 10.13.6 [the latest my iMAC will accept] using Firefox, and MSN.COM's Outlook E-Mail client. Usually when you "hover" over the e-mail sender's name in "FROM", their URL is produced -- very useful to check for spoofing of legitimate sites. This week I've received several e-mails where this did not work. Is this a new spam tactic, and are there any solutions ? Any thoughts ??
