My bookmarks menu is (empty) and I cannot save new bookmarks. Will not import under manage bookmarks tab. WHY is this suddenly happening on this computer when all my bookmarks and passwords are fine on my other computer?

When backing up bookmarks to HTML - HTML Back-Up does not include the TOOLBAR Bookmarks. Please advise how to include the toolbar bookmarks in HTML format. Thank you.

recently, if i attempt to bookmark a URL, the dialog box to choose which folder to save to no long appears....the bookmark is automatically saved to the last folder used. i discovered that i can copy the url, open manage bookmarks, and paste into the desired folder...however.... I would like to change this back to allow me to choose from that dialog box. any assistance is greatly appreciated. thank you

Mein Thema betrifft die Änderung der Lesezeichen Verwaltung. Die Lesezeichen bleiben nicht mehr sichtbar sobald man auf eine andere Stelle mit dem Mauszeiger klickt z. B. um einen Tab durch das ziehen mit der Maus in die Lesezeichen ein zu sortieren. Dann funktioniert das scrollen mit der Maus nicht mehr, man muss zwangsweise mit dem Mauszeiger auf einen der Pfeile gehen um das scrollen zu ermöglichen. Wenn man neue Lesezeichen hinzufügen will, oder Lesezeichen in Unterordner öffnen möchte, dann muss mann sämtliche Unterordner umständlich mit dem Mauszeiger aufklappen, wenn man nicht richtig trifft fängt man wieder von vorne an. Wie bekomme ich die vorige Einstellung, und meines erachtens bessere Lesezeichenverwaltung, wieder hin?

Whenever you go to close a folder from the bookmark menu in the browser sidebar, having scrolled down due to a long list, the menu will not only close the folder but also make you click whatever was in that mouse position on the menu with the menu closed. This means closing a folder having scrolled down will cause you to potentially click open another folder or bookmark unintentionally. This is not an issue on the old bookmark menu, but using that isn't as convenient as the sidebar is.

Last update trashed my book marks, did you sell out to Microsoft? Toll bar gone try to fix but when I logoff it resets to trash. Not happy!!!! Oh I ready did the so called trouble shooting!

Recently i added some bookmarks in a dedicated folder. Afterwards i don't see the bookmark in that folder. Hoever if i click on "Search bookmarks" and enter its name the bookmark is listed. If i then rightclick on it and select "Show in folder", the bookmark is shown in the correct folder. What is wrong ? Thanks

I HAVE TRIED TO FIND A STREAMLINED WAY TO DELETE MULTIPLE DUPLICATE BOOKMARKS (UNINTENTIONALLY CREATED BY AN OLDER FIREFOX BOOKMARKS IMPORT). BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT WORKS. USING BOOKMARK MANAGER IS FAR TOO TEDIOUS AND TIME-CONSUMING. AND AN EXTENSION ADD-ON I TRIED CREATED EVEN MORE PROBLEMS. I NEED HELP!!

Been trying to retrieved misplaced bookmark folders not bookmarks themselves in the Bookmarks Library with no success even going down several sub-levels; Would be nice if there were a search function, but will take a step-by-step solution. Thanks!

How can I bring my bookmark toolbar back? It is on my Eset firefox page, but not on my firefox page. I'm running out of ways to get my bookmark pages back. Yes, I updated to Windows 11, now, I'm thinking that was a bad mistake. Help??? Thank you. Linda

My bookmarks have suddenly disappeared. I've tried going to manage bookmarks/restore, but it only gives the option to choose a file. Is there any other way to get my bookmarks back?

I am in the process of switching from Windows 10 to Linux Mint (Cinnamon 22.3) as my daily operating system. My current Windows version of Firefox is 147.0.2, for Linux it is 147.0.3. installed from the official repository - also known as the Software Manager in Linux Mint. I've configured Firefox exactly the same in both operating systems. Running under Windows when saving a Bookmark, Firefox displays the well known Globe Icon, but after reloading the page the Favicon appears immediately (provided it is available of course). Under Linux Mint this does not happen, even if one restarts Firefox. Only after a system reboot Favicons of revisited pages become visible. Is this a fundamental difference between the Windows and Linux version of Firefox or am I missing something? I've installed the Firefox extension for caching the favicon, but it made no difference, If I run it, still the Icon does not appear until system reboot. I couldn´t find an answer in the help database nor on the Internet in general.

This difference might seem insignificant for most people but for me it is. When shopping on the internet I bookmark a lot of pages of products to be able to make quick comparisons. The Favicon is of great help because it makes it easy to identify the different shops. Of course I could manually change the bookmark name to include the shop name, but Icons are a much better clue and leave more room in the bookmark name for other information.

I've switch to a new computer and exported and imported my book marks, in json file. I can see them in the library, but I don't know how to get them to display on my sidebar. Help? thanks brian
