Why Firefox is unable to bring customising options for homepage and toolbar for mobile users in all these years despite other browsers upping their game with user feedbacks and newer browsers bringing exactly what the users want?
Big phones, too many bookmarks, can't remove or hide home button icon on URL bar, no download manager, no options to add home shortcuts or speed dials on Firefox homepage no navigation buttons at bottom, no DNS, is this Firefox in 2024 and 2025?

Hi all,
with FF 130 on Windows 10, I'm encountering an issue that pops up spuriuosly during the last years. After playing video/audio content, the browser fails to release the audio streaming device, thus preventing the computer to go into sleep mode.
When I restart FF, the stream is released This has happened for other users on previous versions, but seems to have been fixed in more recent releases. But now the issue is back - at least for me.
Any hints or workarounds?

Firefox periodically says I am "forbidden" to enter my Kaiser website (KP.org). I know what Mozilla recommends as a fix, which is to clear data and cookies. But this creates more problems because I have to re-enter passwords and other settings. This is a problem Mozilla's website reports has been occurring for YEARS! Why can't Mozilla/Firefox fix this? Please tell me there is a better way to fix this problem.

Accessibility wise they have made firefox unusable for me. They are too distracting and make it very difficult to see and differentiate text.

Just to report Firefox 121.0.1 (64-bit) unable to upload any video formats on youtube and always having invalid video format error. I'm unable to upload even that videos what was already successfully uploaded some times ago. I using Microsoft Edge now to upload on youtube and it is fine with all my videos. Hope you can fix soon.

Browser passwords are not hidden. A user who has gained access (without identification) to the browser can see passwords.

A bit of background, I have been working on systems since the Commodore Vic 20, so I'm not 'new' or would typically be helpless as many are if they have system problems.
Over the last week I decided to format my Mac and re-install the operating system. I have a lot of graphics design that I will be doing for an unknown period of time. I have over the years collected many free fonts and I started installing them about 5 days ago. I don't believe my installing fonts wouldf have affected anything within Firefox, but Firefox is the only browser that I'm having this problem with. I checked Safari and google displays everything as it should as well; my graphics deisgn software forums are displaying fine. I have not used google for anything during the period that I was installing the fonts, so I don't know exactly when this started but yesterday I discovered it.
I tried going to the menu on the top right hand corner -> Help -> More Troubleshooting Info -> Refresh Firefox. I then went into MacCleaner Pro -> Clear Cache and Clear Purgable Data. Then restarted the machine. No change.
I then saved my passwords and bookmarks, then uninstalled Firefox using MacCleaner Pro and then went to Remove Remaining files.
Downloaded a new copy of Firefox and the problem still exists.
I tried changing the theme to others. Went to Settings -> General -> Language and Appearance. Set theme to dark, then back to automatic. Changed the main font from (Default) Times to Times New Roman and back to (Default Times) ... but still this problem exists...

This morning, I was presented with an opportunity to update Firefox. As always, I chose "Yes". Ever since, no matter what I do, I am completely unable to connect to a webpage. I only get an error message stating that the webpage I'm trying to connect to has crashed. I am offered the choice of reloading only that particular webpage or all crashed tabs. NEITHER option works. It's just a loop that comes back to the same error message. I've used Firefox exclusively for well over a decade. I maintain subscriptions to Relay Premium and Pocket Premium. I have NEVER run into a problem with a Firefox update. They generally only take 30 seconds or so and very rarely involve a download. I spend a majority of my workday online. PLEASE help me get back to the version of Firefox that I had prior to this newest update, along with my hundreds of bookmarks, my Extensions, my Relay Premium and Pocket Premium subscriptions.
