Firefox V105.0 64bit Win10 Pro - when streaming Audio, data download is too slow. The Player eventually catches up with the downloaded data and simply Quits when there is none left. This has never been a problem before until this last update . . . . I have tried with Avast's Secure Browser and with MS Edge Browser and BOTH these stream WELL AHEAD of playback - so the problem doesn't arise . . . . With these two Browsers playing an 8 minute .mp3, by the time the player has reached 5 minutes, ALL the remaining data has been downloaded . . . . I made a video from the screen (Bandicam) but the <add images> doesn't allow it . . . . Any Ideas? Or perhaps I wait for the next update and hope it gets fixed . . . . ATB Chris

My ability to access saved passwords on regular sites I visit is lost each time I turn my laptop off. This means each time I log onto Mozilla I have to reset Privacy. This does not happen on Microsoft Edge. As I would really like to use Mozilla I would like to sort it out.

I've had this problem for a couple of years already. Not with other browsers and, with the Internet Download Manager extension, I'm usually able to download multimedia content in FF. (That's been my workaround.)

For example, when loading this humble URL ... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/transcoded/d/d8/Plattenknistern_record.ogg/Plattenknistern_record.ogg.mp3 ... if I have autoplay enabled, it'll crash right away ("Your tab just crashed"), without autoplay, it'll crash as soon as I hit play. No report gets created under about:crashes.

No difference if I create a new user profile and disable add-ons. Disabling hardware acceleration doesn't help either. I can't do without most of my settings and add-ons, so refreshing FF is not an option. I'd sooner try a new install (and then import my profile and reinstall add-ons), but that's laborious, not guaranteed to solve the problem, and I figure that there ought to be some way to diagnose a crash in such straightforward circumstances? Telling the JS debugger to pause on exceptions seems to be no help.

Twitter videos used to work, albeit without audio, so long as I didn't pause and then resume playback. Lately, after upgrading from FF 104 to 105 (or possibly through a change on Twitter's end), I get "the media could not be played."

Take any example GIF file on pretty much any website. if I right-click the image, I can "Save image as", but my only format option is webp. I have the same issue if I visit the direct link to the file and choose "save page as". Surely there is a way to save the page in its original format right? It's a GIF so I should have the option to save it as a GIF?

I've also noticed if I right-click a GIF and "copy image" I only get a single frame of the image on my clipboard, but I would be able to work around that if I could just save it the way I want to.

Hi,

I have set Firefox to delete every cookie when I exit. However some websites use cookies for dark mode. My question is this : can I make it so Firefox continues to delete every cookie but save only some specific cookies For exemple, linkedin uses a dozen of cookies and two of them are used to store value for dark mode. Can i save only those two ?

Thanks in advance

Is this a false positive? This cache is nearly 1GB in size, are all the files needed?

Hi all

I'm a happy user of FF but have started to see issues with JavaScript (error message: You need to enable JavaScript to run this app.). I do the about:config correction and it sometimes works, but now the error is spreading to involve other pages - a page worked yesterday doesn't work today.

Is it just me?
