I could'nt play Netflix or Amazon videos on my Firefox browser, I have an old MacBook pro OS 10.9.5 (it's the last operating system I can use.. I have photoshop 6 and it won't work on any further OSs) I went to update Firefox, was not sure what version it was. and my computer asked" replace current version of Firefox with New" , I said yes, it did.. and then after I downloaded it, I noticed there was a circle with a slash going thru it on Firefox Icon, when I tried to open new firefox , it bascically said will not work with this OS. I could not go back and lost firefox alltogher, which also had my prefernces and autofill passwords etc. I went to Mozilla site to see if I could find an older version of firefox.. This is what I found : Firefox version 78 was the last supported Firefox version for Mac users of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. These users were moved to the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) channel by an application update.

I downloaded it and it said It will not work on my OS, So, How can I basically get the same firefox I had or whatever the last version that works on my computer..and best case senario save my prefernces and passwords, which maybe might have been saved somehow when I tried to change in the begining .. thanks so much for your help.

I am trying to use a new HP Spectre laptop which will be my all purpose home computer. I selected Firefox Browser as the default browser but I don't believe it has ever come up as my browser. It is loaded among many other apps (?). I used to call them programs (?). I get Edge, Chrome, Bing, and others, none of which I want or ask for. They just seem to appear randomly.

Hi, I cant log in to any plusnet pages, this is not just Firefox other browsers do the same. I get a message Secure connection failed. All other websites seem ok. Even private browsing is OK but no PLUSNET. I use Firefox 100 and search with Duck Duck Go. Please help as Plusnet can't. Many thanks I.M.

I can only save (not open) Gmail attachments after the latest update and JPG is not showing up in my the Applications section of Settings/General so I cannot fix it.

This has happened one time too many guys, every update but this time half the items I would normally get as an attachment are no longer listed in the applications menu.

If I cannot get a fix quickly I will be forced to move to Chrome (which I REALLY hate the idea of). I see 25 - 80 emails a day and it is mission critical that I can open and view email attachments without having to save them.

So this morning (5/4/2022) I start the computer (desktop) Win 10 Pro, 64 bit and Firefox will not connect.

Checks: I verified that my phone connects to my wireless; I verified that email is connecting; I verified that Chrome is connecting.

I did the following:

I refreshed Firefox -> Firefox will not connect I started Firefox in troubleshoot mode -> Firefox will not connect I uninstalled and then restarted my computer and then reinstalled -> Firefox will not connect

Further, the once working about:config update to reinstate compact menus has no effect (why not test for a mobile OS before expanding the menus...?) Regardless, this secondary for the moment.

What to next is a mystery to me. Firefox has become so troublesome that it is almost not worth it to continue fighting with it.

My Grandson loaded some type of coupon app and every time I log into some type of store etc. I get this coupon discount, he said it was on Mozilla Firefox. I want to delete it but I can't find it, can you help?

When playing videos on youtube or any other platform the volume is very low to non-existent. When a new video starts there is a sudden surge, whereafter it rapidly returns to a non-audible level. I have tried checking the volume settings in Windows and Firefox but nothing has helped thusfar. Please help me resolve this issue so I can go back to using my favourite browser again.

Firefox starts but when I type into the search box nothing happens. My RoboForm link does not work and neither do the bookmarks. I have had to resort to using Edge to get onto the internet. Jim Klein

Normally there is no difficulty searching a pdf with a pdf reader. How does one do it in Firefox?

Note that ctrl+shift+f and ctrl+f do not work.

I use firefox since I go to college. When I got some problems, I try to check firefox use what to pick folder? I use Manjaro Plasma. I find chrominum use kdialog. But firefox looks not though both use gtk3 as UI

I was using lightspeed POS and routinely get a dialogue box asking me if i am sure i want to do something. in an effort to save .05 seconds, i selected do not let this website ask me again. this unfortunately broke a site function of doing the thing that requires confirmation and im sure broke countless other functions that rely on that confirmation. how do i undo?

Ive cleared cookies and site data, thinking it was sort of a cookie thing and it would reset, but no avail.

New computer, running Windows 11, McAfee LiveSafe came with for 30 day trial. I use Firefox, have since 1997. Just added Mozilla VPN. Old computer ran Xubuntu. Windows 11 needs antivirus because it's Windows. So. How compatible are McAfee LiveSafe and Firefox with Mozilla VPN? What suggestion, if any, does Mozilla have for an antivirus program that will work well for Windows 11 but not mess with Firefox and Mozilla VPN? Thank you.

Hello, I use a website, MySubaru.com, that has always loaded on my iMac (10.12). Lately what I get is a blank screen whether from the bookmark or the website in Google. Strangely enough, the site loads fine using Safari and on my MacBook and iPhone. Any suggestions? Thank you, Eric

I wonder why the latest browser does not have a Home Button.It is easier to close the blank browser with the Home Button.Closing the blank browser helps the system restart smoothly in the next session.

I'm downloading a lot of images, and every time I do so a popup box appears showing the most recent five downloads and a button to show all downloads, It covers some of the icons I use for downloading images which is frustrating. If I right click on any of the downloads one of the options is to Clear Preview Panel, so I assumed it was called Preview Panel, but help does not know about that and I can't find how to stop it coming up (it used not to until I did something, I don't know what) It's driving me crazy.
